Al-Awlaki's Son , Takes a Dirt Nap; In many places.

That's because those Hellfires tend to spread their victims around !

Foxnews
An American drone strike in southern Yemen has killed seven Al Qaeda-linked militants, including the media chief for the group's Yemeni branch and the son of a prominent U.S.-born cleric slain in a similar attack last month, government officials and tribal elders said Saturday.
In the capital, meanwhile, forces loyal to embattled President Ali Abdullah Saleh opened fire on tens of thousands of protesters, killing at least nine and wounding scores, according to medical officials and witnesses.

The airstrike late Friday in the southeastern province of Shabwa points to Washington's growing use of drones to target Al Qaeda militants in Yemen. The missile attacks appear to be part of a determined effort to stamp out the threat from the group, known as Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which U.S. officials have said is the terror network's most active and most dangerous branch.
The Yemeni Defense Ministry identified the slain media chief as Egyptian-born Ibrahim al-Bana. Tribal elders in the area also said the dead included Abdul-Rahman al-Awlaki, the 21-year-old son of Anwar al-Awlaki, a gifted Muslim preacher and savvy Internet operator who became a powerful Al Qaeda recruiting tool in the West. He, along with another propagandist, Pakistani-American Samir Khan, were killed in a Sept. 30 U.S. drone attack.

possible retaliation over al-Awlaki killing

Al-Awlaki's father, Nasser al-Awlaki, left the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, Saturday for Jawf and Marib provinces to confirm that his son is dead, family members told CNN. Tribesmen in Marib province said Friday that they had seen the victims of the drone strike and that their bodies were charred beyond recognition.

Awww, To bad (HeHeHe) why do you think they call them Hellfire Missiles?

So their is a warning out, we are to be watchful of our surroundings especially when outside the U.S., so we are being asked to profile.

Same old shit, Islamic radicals can't control themselves, they are compelled to kill anyone they possibly can to get their point across. This is why we are compelled to play hellfire tag with them !

CNN
The U.S. State Department issued a "worldwide" alert Saturday, urging overseas travelers to be mindful of "the potential for retaliation against U.S. citizens and interests" following the killing of American-born militant cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

Al-Awlaki -- the face of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula whose fluency with English and technology made him a top terrorist recruiter-- was killed Friday in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen, officials said.

The State Department alert, which is in effect until November 30, urges U.S. citizens abroad to register with the government to make it easier to contact them in case of an emergency.

Islamist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki 'killed in Yemen'

Hell yeah !
American bitch boy of Al Qaida is DEAD !
Yemeni forces are reported as the responsible parties so congratulations Yemen.
Supposedly a few of his minions were also taken out.

What an excellent way to start of a Friday !

BBC

The US-born radical Islamist cleric and suspected al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki has been killed in Yemen, the country's defence ministry has said.

A statement said only that he died "along with some of his companions".

Mr Awlaki, who is of Yemeni descent, has been on the run in Yemen since December 2007.

The US has named him a "specially designated global terrorist" for his alleged role in a number of attacks and he is said to be on a CIA hit list.

Congress to Probe Suspected Connection Between Anwar al-Awlaki and 9/11

Would not surprise me, how about you?
Awlaki was a lot younger and probably trying to get on the good side of Al Qaida in the days before 9/11, and the whole thing may have been overlooked or swept under by the 9/11 investigators.

Yep no need to have him on the Kill or capture list.

Foxnews
The House Homeland Security Committee “has initiated an investigation” into the radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and whether he was an overlooked key player in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, a letter from the committee chairman to Attorney General Eric Holder says.

The three-page letter, obtained exclusively by Fox News, makes the case that a decade after the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil, the full story of 9/11 has not been told.

“This congressional investigation will seek to determine:

"1. To what extent Anwar al-Awlaki wittingly or unwittingly facilitated the plot of the 9/11 hijackers; and

"2. to what extent al-Awlaki was an al Qaeda operative, offering support to acts of terrorism before 9/11.”

The letter to Holder, sent by Republican Rep. Peter King of New York, confirms that investigators believe the American cleric's contacts with three of the five hijackers on Flight 77, which slammed into the Pentagon, were more than a series of coincidences, but rather evidence of a purposeful relationship.

U.K. Counters Terrorists by Redirecting Them to U.S. Cupcake Recipes

After they were all prepped and ready to start making bombs in moms kitchen... I wonder How many Al Qaida Rejects have followed the directions and made cupcakes now, or better yet how many have bookmarked the cupcake website.

Foxnews
LONDON -- Would-be terrorists searching the Internet for tips on how to build bombs were instead taught how to bake the perfect cupcake after an intervention by British intelligence, London's The Daily Telegraph reported Thursday.

Intelligence agency MI6 launched the cyber operation against jihadi magazine, Inspire, in an attempt to hamper attempts by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsular (AQAP) to attract "lone wolf" terrorists.

Surfers trying to download the English-language magazine's "Make a bomb in the Kitchen of your Mom" feature were instead redirected to a site boasting recipes for "The Best Cupcakes in America."

The baking site, which is published by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," promises treats for "today's sweet-toothed hipsters" including the mojito cupcake, made using white rum and vanilla buttercream.

The 67-page Inspire contains instructions on how to make rudimentary pipe bombs using sugar, match heads and a miniature lightbulb.

White House Defends Targeted Killing Program

Another shocker coming from the Obama Administration , Actual common sense .

Foxnews
The Obama administration was preparing a request on Friday to block a lawsuit over the scope of its targeted killing program for suspected terrorists, in a case that challenges the government's powers in its war on terror.

U.S. officials say national security is threatened by Yemeni-American Islamist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, whose fiery sermons are a major draw for anti-American jihadists on the Internet. Mr. Awlaki, a U.S. citizen, is believed to be targeted for extrajudicial killing for his alleged involvement in terror plots against the U.S.

Awlaki Hunt Ratchets Up

I would much rather see this Asshole with a dozen or so Good old fashioned American Bullets pumped into his body !
But alive would be O.K also .

foxnews
The hunt is heating up for US-born terror suspect and cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

In its strongest statement yet, a diplomat for the Yemen government told Fox News it considers Awlaki a “fugitive” and wants him for questioning regarding “recent ties with Al Qaeda figures.”

The diplomat also told Fox Yemen Yemen is “addressing the findings linking Awlaki” to last year’s Fort Hood shootings and the Christmas bombing attempt.

It is believed Awlaki is hiding in southern Yemen.

The White House has reportedly signed off on a “kill or capture “ order targeting Awlaki for his terror associations.

A western diplomat in Sana’a has revealed to Fox News Awlaki is now considered to be fully “operational” as a terrorist, and that he is involved in “the recruitment of volunteers, the conception of acts, and their implementation.”

Awlaki is thought to be, according to the diplomat, in the “upper tier” of Yemen’s Al Qaeda chapter, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

Now, it appears, both the US AND Yemen have put Awlaki in the “upper tier” of their "Most Wanted" lists.
