Ahmadinejad Vows Not to Retreat on Nuclear Drive

"This nation won't retreat one iota from the path it is going," Ahmadinejad told thousands of people in Shahr-e-Kord in central Iran. "Why are you ruining the prestige of the (U.N. nuclear) agency for absurd U.S. claims?"

So the monkey man speaks and he said that Iran WILL not divert from its nuclear program.
And the usual co conspirators are at their defense, Russia and China both are screaming for the world to just leave Iran alone and not ramp up any sanctions.

Most likely because of their vested interest in Iran Developing a strong Nuclear program and developing a Nuclear Bomb (Your allies are much more feared by others when they to are Nuclear Armed)

So the big question, will Israel strike ? Will they make Irans Nuclear facilities look like Syrias? (a pile of ruble).

Foxnews
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed Wednesday that Iran won't retreat "one iota" from its nuclear program, denying claims that it seeks atomic weapons. Key ally Russia gave the Islamic Republic a major boost, rejecting tighter sanctions despite a U.N. watchdog report detailing suspected arms-related advances.
Israel called on the world to stop Iran's nuclear program in response to the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency's report. The Israeli statement did not refer to the option of a military attack, Israel considers Iran its most dangerous enemy...

"Any additional sanctions against Iran would be perceived by the international community as an instrument for regime change in Tehran," deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov told the Interfax news agency, adding that Russia "does not intend to consider such proposals."...

China has not publicly commented yet on a U.N. assessment of Iran's nuclear programs in a likely sign that it will wait for Washington and Moscow to signal their intentions. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said Wednesday that Beijing was studying the report and repeated calls for dialogue and cooperation...

Moscow airport bomber named, his siblings arrested

Awesome, they arrest the guys Brother and sister.
They deserve it, they were involved in the bombing plot.
Does anyone think that Dooki Umarov is gonna care.

Foxnews
Russia – Russian authorities named a suspected suicide bomber of Moscow's airport and arrested his teenage brother and sister, an official said Wednesday.

The Jan. 24 bombing of Domodedovo airport was conducted by 20-year-old Magomed Yevloyev, said an official working with Russia's top investigative agency in the province of Ingushetia. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to publicly discuss the issue.

Officials have previously said that the bomber was a 20-year-old man from the Caucasus, but didn't give his name.

Chechen rebel warlord Doku Umarov has claimed responsibility for the attack that killed 36 and injured more than 180.

A court in Ingushetia's provincial capital, Magas, also ordered the arrest of Yevloyev's 15-year-old brother and 16-year old sister, suspected of involvement in the attack, the official said. They also arrested another resident of Yevloyev's home village of Ali-Yurt on the same charges.

Islamist rebel says he ordered Russian bombing

1. It does not surprise me that an Islamist has claimed the Russian airport bombing.

2. If this is the Jackass that ordered this suicide bombing, What took him so long to Claim it?

Islam, Always be suspicious.

(Reuters) - Islamist rebel leader Doku Umarov said on Monday he had ordered a suicide bombing that killed 36 people at Russia's busiest airport last month.

Umarov, 46, speaking in a video carried by the Islamist website www.Kavkazcenter.com, said there would be further such attacks in pursuit of an independent Muslim state governed by Sharia law in Russia's Caucasus region -- a territory embracing Chechnya, Dagestan and other nearby territories.

Umarov appeared in the video, apparently made on the day of the January 24 attack on Moscow's Domodedovo airport, wearing combat fatigues, talking quietly and hesitantly.

"The special operation today in Moscow ... was carried out on my orders," said Umarov, who styles himself the Emir of the Caucasus.

"These special operations will continue ... to show the chauvinist regime of (Russian Prime Minister Vladimir) Putin in Moscow ... that we can carry out these operations where we want and when we want," he said, pointing a finger toward the camera.

Never turn your cell phone on before a suicide Mission

You may get an unexpected text message, prematurely splodin your ass up.

Allah Is not pleased over this one.

Foxnews
A terrorist plot in Moscow was foiled New Year’s Eve when an unexpected text message reportedly detonated a suicide bomber’s explosives prematurely, Russian security told The Daily Telegraph.

The “Black Widow” bomber, who may belong to the group that attacked Moscow’s Domodedovo airport on Monday, planned to set off her suicide belt near Red Square, potentially killing hundreds of people, the newspaper reported.

Instead, security sources believe that a text message wishing the woman a happy new year from her mobile phone provider set off the explosives hours before the planned attack, The Daily Telegraph said.

News agencies said the bomber, who has yet to be identified, was killed and the building destroyed by the blast, but that another man and woman possibly connected to the plot managed to escape.

"Planning started for the Domodedovo airport explosion just after the failure of the Manezh Square plot," Russia’s Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper reported, identifying the site of the attack as a square right in front of the Kremlin walls.

The attack at Domodedovo, Russia’s busiest airport, killed 35 people and injured 180 others. No claim of responsibility for the bombing has been made, and officials have not publicly identified any suspects.

Russia bombing: 'Islamist group suspected'

Islamists, You don't say.

Another no brainer, It is not like the Jehovah Witnesses or Christians and Catholics or even the Jewish people of the world are going around blowing the shit out of every one and every thing

BBC
Bomb investigators believe a member of an Islamist group in southern Russia may be behind the Moscow airport attack in which 35 people died, reports say.

Russian media say a man named Razdobudko, from Stavropol on the edge of the northern Caucasus, either organised or carried out the attack.

The suspect is being linked to a 31 December explosion at a house in the centre of Moscow in which a woman died.

The authorities have made no official comment on their inquiry.

It is still not clear if a man or a woman was involved in Monday's attack in which a bomber detonated up to 7kg (15lb) of TNT at Domodedovo airport.

World's Worst Nuclear Disaster Site to Welcome Tourists

Would you go to Chernobyl?

Aol
News that Chernobyl will soon open to tourists comes amid revelations today from the Accounts Chamber of the Ukrainian government, reported in the Russian and Ukrainian press, that not all funds budgeted for controlling the disaster site over recent years have actually been spent there and that the site is still a potential danger. In particular, the other three reactors have not been shut down according to plan, and the site has not been cleared of radioactive material, the Accounts Chamber said.

A "sarcophagus" constructed over the remains of reactor No. 4 has been deteriorating under pressure from within. The government plans to complete a new, more reliable shield by 2012. The Washington Post reported that the new shell is to be 345 feet tall, 853 feet wide and 490 feet long -- enough to contain Notre Dame Cathedral or the Statue of Liberty -- and will weigh 20,000 tons.

Militants break out of Tajik jail

You can't keep an Islamic Militant pinned up for to long .

That's why they should be Killed !

BBC
Twenty-five prisoners, including several Islamic militants, have escaped from a prison in the Central Asian state of Tajikistan, reports say.

The break-out took place on Sunday night in the capital, Dushanbe. The group are said to have killed at least five prison guards as they fled.

Border forces are now on alert.

Tajikistan, which borders Afghanistan, had a five-year civil war between the Moscow-backed government and Islamist-led opposition. The war ended in 1997.

Reports said that the group seized guns and killed prison personnel in a fire-fight before making their escape.

A report from Tajikistan's Asia-Plus news website said that the escapees included Russian and Afghan citizens, as well as members of an Islamic militant group.

BBC
Russia says it will undertake a key step next week towards starting up a reactor at Iran's first nuclear power station.

Russia's state atomic corporation, which is building the plant, said engineers will begin loading the Bushehr reactor with fuel.

However, it could be six months before the reactor is fully operational.

Russia has been helping build the plant since the mid-1990s, amid tensions over Iran's nuclear programme.

"The fuel will be charged in the reactor on 21 August. From this moment, Bushehr will be considered a nuclear installation," spokesman Sergei Novikov said.

Is the NSA's 'Perfect Citizen' the Ultimate Spying Tool?

This is when things get spooky , Government Intrusion of Privacy .

Perfect Citizen is needed , but access to everyday citizens PC's (Or internet activity) is just not Acceptable , and that is what this leads to .

No doubt something must be done , But instead of just stopping Bad Security Practices like letting workers at Nuke plants Browse the Internet , The Gov. feels it is necessary to just have access to everything !

My Problem is that Obama has already let it be Known that he would like Presidential powers to Block the internet and take control in a time of Crisis .

Foxnews
Could the NSA's new "Perfect Citizen" actually be used for spying on every citizen in the U.S.?

The name sounds like an action movie -- the heroic vigilante chases down the bad guys to aid his country and prevent a nuclear armageddon. It also sounds like the worst possible name for a government program intended to protect citizens, not spy on them.

The NSA's new cyber-security program Perfect Citizen will monitor nuclear power plants, train stations, and the electric power grid to safeguard against cyber-assaults.

And as the Wall Street Journal reported, the new program is intended to monitor cyber-terrorist threats and "would rely on a set of sensors deployed in computer networks for critical infrastructure that would be triggered by unusual activity suggesting an impending cyber attack."

According to that report, Raytheon was awarded a $100M contract to develop Perfect Citizen. (Raytheon declined to comment to FoxNews.com, as did the NSA other than describing Perfect Citizen in an official statement as a "research and risk-assessment" project that does not use sensors.)

How would such a system work? Why do experts fear it could be turned against us? And should the government really be in the business of installing sensors on the private power grid and at nuclear plants owned by private companies?

NSA Program Targets Domestic Cyber Attacks

Does perfect Citizen sound Intrusive ? YEP !
But at the same time , something needs to be done about the constant Cyber attacks on the U.S. , But you would have to expect with the Obama Administration leading this one , The Internet is Screwed !

Foxnews
The U.S. government is launching an expansive program dubbed "Perfect Citizen" to detect cyber assaults on private companies and government agencies running critical infrastructure such as the electricity grid and nuclear-power plants, The Wall Street Journal reported late Wednesday.

U.S. intelligence officials have grown increasingly alarmed about what they believe to be Chinese and Russian surveillance of computer systems that control the electric grid and other U.S. infrastructure.

Officials are unable to describe the full scope of the problem, however, because they have had limited ability to pull together all the private data.

Perfect Citizen will look at large, typically older computer control systems that were often designed without Internet connectivity or security in mind.

Many of those systems -- which run everything from subway systems to air-traffic control networks -- have since been linked to the Internet, making them more efficient but also exposing them to cyber attack.

The surveillance by the National Security Agency, the government's chief eavesdropping agency, would rely on a set of sensors deployed in computer networks for critical infrastructure
that would be triggered by unusual activity suggesting an impending cyber attack, though it wouldn't persistently monitor the whole system, according to people familiar with the program.

Defense contractor Raytheon Corp. recently won a classified contract for the initial phase of the surveillance effort valued at up to US$100 million, said a person familiar with the project.

A spokeswoman for the NSA said the agency had no information to provide on the program. A Raytheon spokesman declined to comment.

Some industry and government officials familiar with the program see Perfect Citizen as an intrusion by the NSA into domestic affairs, while others say it is an important program to combat an emerging security threat that only the NSA is equipped to provide.

FBI breaks up alleged Russian spy ring in deep cover

The Russians aare coming the Russians are coming ...
Oh Damn , they were already here !

This is nice you know , Russian spies living here in the U.S. with one thing in mind , Changing the Policies of the U.S.

Yes it is Bullshit , Yes we have probably done the same thing , so what you gonna do ?

Well I would start with letting Obama Know that You should ALWAYS keep your guard up ! Especially when it comes to Communists ! Even when they are acting like your BFF , they have a Knife right at your Back !

GaurdianUK
The FBI has arrested 10 alleged Russian spies and broken up a "long-term, deep cover" network of agents across America's east coast sent to infiltrate policy making circles.

The cracking of the alleged spy ring, the largest discovered in the US since the collapse of communism, came days after Barack Obama praised Dmitry Medvedev, Russia's president, at the White House as a "solid and reliable partner".

In a charge sheet that might have been taken from a cold war thriller, the FBI alleges that the Russian intelligence service, the SVR, had sent the 10 spies, and possibly many more, to live in the US many years ago under false names, with the intent of becoming so Americanised they could gather information without raising suspicion. Some of the agents lived as married couples.

The FBI said that it intercepted SVR messages, sent by "Moscow centre", to two of the accused spies.

"You were sent to USA for long-term service trip. Your education, your bank accounts, car, house, etc – all these serve one goal: fulfil your main mission, ie, to search and develop ties in policymaking circles in US and send intels (intelligence reports) to C (Centre)," the intercepted message said, according to the indictment. The FBI does not give any indication as to how successful the alleged agents were.

The arrests were made at Arlington in Virginia, near the Pentagon and CIA headquarters, and in New York, Boston and New Jersey. The justice department said one other alleged spy was being sought.

All the 10 have been charged with conspiracy to act as an agent of a foreign government. They face up to five years in prison if convicted, although it is possible that more serious charges will be added.

The alleged spies are also accused of money laundering, which carries lengthy prison sentences.

Russia says terrorists seeking nuclear materials

I've heard this before , It really sounds like if you have enough money or actually work at a Russian Nuclear facility , you can walk away with whatever you Want !

The end result of Russian failure , Nuclear Jihad !

(Reuters) - The chief of Russia's state security service said on Wednesday that terrorists were seeking access to nuclear materials across the former Soviet Union, Russian news agencies reported.

Alexander Bortnikov, the chief of the FSB, the main successor to the Soviet-era KGB, gave no further details about the attempts or which groups had sought the materials.

"We have information which indicates that terrorists are continuing to attempt to get access to nuclear materials (and) biological and chemical components," he was quoted as saying by Interfax and Itar-Tass.

"We are paying constant attention to this issue," Bortnikov said, referring to concerns that terrorists could get their hands on nuclear materials.

Nuclear experts say there is no sign that terrorists have acquired weapons-grade nuclear material but there have been at least 18 documented cases of theft or loss of plutonium or highly enriched uranium, several in the ex-Soviet Union.

Despite major, heavily U.S.-funded security improvements at Russian facilities containing nuclear materials since the 1991 Soviet collapse, experts say the risk of theft remains.

Among concerns are the potential for theft by insiders -- particularly in a country plagued by corruption -- as well as imperfect accounting for the materials and inexperienced guards, according to Harvard University nuclear expert Matthew Bunn.

Somalis hijack Russian tanker, warship dispatched

"Any attempt to rescue the ship will certainly endanger the crew. The ship will be docked at Garacad," Abdi told Reuters by telephone, adding it was too early to talk about a ransom.

A Russian Warship has been sent to deal with this in a passive manner ?

(Reuters) - Somali pirates hijacked a Russian tanker carrying $52 million worth of crude oil and 23 crew on Wednesday, prompting Russia to send a warship to try to deal with the incident, officials said.

Pirates who hijacked the China-bound, Russian-owned MV Moscow University tanker 350 miles off the coast of Yemen warned against any rescue attempt, saying this would endanger the Russian crew.

"A Russian warship is moving toward the tanker," Russian defense ministry spokesman Alexei Kuznetsov said. The Chief of the Russian General Staff cut short a visit to NATO headquarters in Brussels to coordinate the military's response, he added.

The vessel had been traveling under a Liberian flag from Sudan to the Chinese port of Nigbo with 86,000 tonnes of oil owned by Chinese refiner Unipec, a Russian shipping source said. Maritime experts said the tanker had a deadweight of 106,474 tonnes.

"The crew members locked themselves in the radar room. This ship has been hijacked," Commander Rear Admiral Jan Thornqvist of the European Union's Navfor naval force told reporters in the Kenyan port of Mombasa.

One pirate who identified himself as Abdi said the tanker was heading to a pirate haven on the coast of central Somalia.

Iran's president attacks Obama on nuclear "threat"

"Obama made these latest remarks because he is inexperienced and an amateur politician," Ahmadinejad said on Iranian television. "American politicians are like cowboys. Whenever they have legal shortcomings, their hands go to their guns."

Inexperienced And An Amateur , Maybe so , but he is better than you !
And it is better to have some legal Shortcomings , than to just have some uh Shortcomings !

(Reuters) - Iran's president issued a scathing personal attack on U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday, calling him an "inexperienced amateur" who was quick to threaten to use nuclear weapons against U.S. enemies.

Commenting on new U.S. policy restrictions on the use of atomic weapons which sent a stern message to nuclear-defiant Iran that it remained a potential target, hard-line Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Obama that Iran would not yield to threats.

"Obama made these latest remarks because he is inexperienced and an amateur politician," Ahmadinejad said on Iranian television. "American politicians are like cowboys. Whenever they have legal shortcomings, their hands go to their guns."

Obama made a diplomatic overture to Tehran soon after taking office in 2009, urging it to "unclench its fist."

But since then a confrontation has intensified over Iran's nuclear activities which the West suspects are aimed at developing an atomic bomb and Tehran says are for civilian use.

Obama is urging U.N. Security Council members to back new sanctions against Iran.

His changes to U.S. weapons policy were announced before a nuclear summit in Washington next week. He renounced the development of new atomic weapons and ruled out the use of nuclear arms against non-nuclear armed states.

But this came with a condition. Countries would be spared a U.S. nuclear response only if they are in compliance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Iran and North Korea would thus not be protected and be potential targets.

Russia says Islamist rebel leader killed

Oh Yeah , Another POS Islamic radical goes on to meet His 72 Male virgin Goats !
That is kind of an Oxymoron isn't it ?
when you are talking about Islamic Radicals , and you use the term ,
" Male Virgin Goats "

(Reuters) - Russia's Federal Security Service chief on Saturday confirmed the death of a prominent Islamist rebel who he accused of plotting a bomb attack on a Moscow-to-St Petersburg train that killed 26 people last year.

Alexander Tikhomirov, also known as Said Buryatsky, was among eight rebels killed in a two-day raid in the volatile Caucasus region of Ingushetia in early March, FSB head Alexander Bortnikov told Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

"Material evidence was found on the scene of the special operation directly connected to the train blast organised by this group of bandits in November last year," Bortnikov said in comments broadcast on the Russian TV channel Rossiya 24.

Islamic militants from Russia's North Caucasus claimed responsibility for the attack on the Nevsky Express and vowed further "acts of sabotage." No major attacks have followed.

But Buryatsky himself had never claimed responsibility for the bombing, and Bortnikov's comments were the first time he had been directly linked to the attack.

Buryatsky's death is a major victory for the Kremlin in its battle against an Islamist insurgency in the North Caucasus, which analysts have said appears to be mutating from a grassroots separatist movement toward global jihad.

Violence in the North Caucasus region in the form of shootings and suicide bombs, particularly in the Muslim-majority republics of Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan, has escalated over the last year.

Russia's most wanted guerrilla, Chechen-born Doku Umarov, has vowed on Islamist websites to spread his attacks from the region to other parts of Russia.

Islamist rebels claim Russian rail bombing

DUH !
....
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Islamist militants on Wednesday claimed responsibility for a bombing that derailed a Russian express train, killing 26 people, and vowed further "acts of sabotage" in a letter posted on a rebel website.

Friday night's attack on the luxury Nevsky Express running between Moscow and St Petersburg was the worst in Russia outside the North Caucasus in five years and raised fears of a new wave of bombings in major cities.

"This operation was prepared and carried out...pursuant to the orders of the Emir of the Caucasus Emirate Doku Umarov," the KavkazCenter.com website said, quoting a letter it said it received from Islamist rebels.

Umarov is Russia's most wanted guerrilla leader and leads a jihad insurgency which aims to free the mainly Muslim North Caucasus from Moscow's rule.

A second, smaller bomb detonated by mobile phone injured Russia's top detective as he visited the crime scene on Saturday. The Investigative Committee said its chief Alexander Bastrykin was hospitalised as a result of the blast but would not comment on his condition.

The militants' letter said the train bombing was part of a campaign of sabotage against strategic economic targets.

"These acts of sabotage will continue for as long as those occupying the Caucasus do not stop their policy of killing ordinary Muslims," the letter said.

And if the "Ordinary Muslims" stop all their terrorist activities which kill innocent people , And just plain get over themselves , maybe things would be better ?

Russia shifts stance on Iran, Ahmadinejad defiant

Very good news , Not that I don't think Iran is going to back down , I'm Positive they Won't !

It is all going to come down to who has the Bigger " Pair ".
....
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia will join any consensus on more sanctions against Iran, a senior Russian diplomatic source said on Tuesday after Tehran declared it would expand nuclear activity in defiance of a U.N. rebuke.

It was a thinly veiled Russian warning to Iran of waning patience with its failure to allay fears it aims to develop atom bombs in secret, and hinted that Iran could no longer rely on Russia to stop tougher world action against it.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad voiced defiance on Tuesday, saying sanctions would have no effect and that no more talks on the nuclear dispute were needed with the West. Speaking on state television, he also criticized Russian action.

Governors of the U.N. nuclear agency passed a resolution on Friday censuring Iran for covertly constructing a second enrichment plant near the holy city of Qom, in addition to its IAEA-monitored one at Natanz, and demanding a construction halt.

Tehran said on Sunday it would build 10 more uranium enrichment sites -- a pledge that Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday was "not a bluff".

Venezuela buys powerful missiles with Russian loan

Hugo Chavez , with all his crazy ambitions could be the Next Kim Jong Il .
And Russia is still working very hard at getting it's hold on part's of south America .
And Russia has a problem with us putting up a Missile defense shield in Parts of Europe ?

CARACAS (Reuters) - Russia has agreed to lend Venezuela over $2 billion to purchase tanks and advanced anti-aircraft missiles in deals that show Moscow's commitment to working closely with Washington-foe President Hugo Chavez.

Chavez said on Sunday the purchases agreed upon on a trip to Moscow last week included 92 tanks and an S-300 missile system that can shoot down fighter jets and cruise missiles.

Two years ago, Russia agreed to sell the same S-300 system to Iran but has dragged its feet over delivering the weapons amid U.S. and Israeli concerns they will be used to defend Iran's nuclear installations.

The socialist Chavez, who claims the United States could attack Venezuela for its oil reserves, also reiterated that Moscow was helping Venezuela develop nuclear energy but said he had no intention of developing an atomic bomb.

"Let me be clear, Venezuela has no plans to invade anybody, or to be aggressive toward anybody," Chavez said on his weekly television show after announcing the $2.2 billion loan. He did not say how much the new weapons cost.
In recent years, Venezuela has bought over $4 billion in weapons from Russia including 24 Sukhoi fighter jets. Critics say Venezuela is fueling an arms race in Latin America, but Chavez says he is modernizing the military for defensive purposes.

Last year, he ordered tanks to the Colombian border in a dispute over a Colombian bombing raid in Ecuadorean territory.
