WTF? A car Bombing in America is unheard of.
The target seems like a normal lawyer type of a guy, sure people do not like lawyers but the guy does not seem like he is a shyster type.
I hope this is just an act of revenge and not some new trend in terrorism within the U.S.
The Detroit Free Press
Federal investigators are asking for the public’s help to learn who planted a bomb in the car that exploded Tuesday night, injuring a lawyer and his two sons in Monroe.
“We got a ton of leads,” said Special Agent Donald Dawkins of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. “We have some serious directions that we’re going toward, but none that I can say are concrete.”
At the wheel of the station wagon was Erik G. Chappell, 42, of La Salle, a local lawyer who coaches 4th through 6th grade boys’ football as part of the Catholic Youth Organization. He and his boys appear to have been headed to football practice when the bomb exploded at 5:41 p.m. on East Elm Avenue just east of I-75.

Deadly car bomb in south Yemen port of Aden
One day the people that are held Hostage by groups like Al Qaida and there terrorism will rise up and annihilate them; wiping them off the face of the Earth.
Until then, there will be Death, Destruction, Turmoil and Mayhem!
Islamic Countries... Enjoy.
Al Jazeera
A car bomb targeting a military facility has killed at least six people and wounded 15 in Aden, the main city in southern Yemen, medics and soldiers have said.
Soldiers reported to the news agency AFP, that the blast went off as troops prepared to leave the facility for Abyan province, where security forces are engaged in fierce fighting with groups suspected of ties to al-Qaeda.
"We were preparing to leave for Abyan when a car came in front of the gate of the camp, and then there was a huge explosion," said one soldier who survived Sunday's attack.
Two senior officers, a major and a lieutenant-colonel, were among the dead, said officials.
The car bomb was the second in less than two months in Aden and followed repeated warnings by officials that al-Qaeda-linked fighters were infiltrating the Arabian Sea port city to prepare for attacks there against security forces.

Suicide truck bomb razes Pakistan police station
The Taliban strike again, they must be really pissed that the U.S. was able to sneak into Pakistan and take Osama Bin Laden out, literally.
You would think that with all this retaliation you would hear of the Pakistani Military going after the Taliban, But they don't they only respond to the Taliban.
BBC
Four people have been killed and 22 others wounded in a suicide lorry bomb attack on a police station in Peshawar, in north-west Pakistan.
The force of the blast flattened the building, police said. Emergency workers were searching for bodies and survivors in the rubble.
The building was close to Pakistani army facilities and the US consulate.
Pakistani Taliban said they carried out the attack, several of which have taken place since Osama Bin Laden was killed.

Car bomb at Iraq funeral wake kills at least 35
Celebrating a funeral the Muslim way, Blowing every one up.
Only in Islam.
(Reuters) - A car bomb exploded at a funeral wake in a Shi'ite area of Iraq's capital on Thursday, killing at least 35 people, wounding dozens and triggering clashes between angry residents and police, health and security sources said.
The blast capped a bloody two weeks as suspected insurgents challenge Iraq's security forces ahead of the withdrawal this year of U.S. troops and try to undermine the newly reappointed Shi'ite-led government of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
Witnesses said a suicide bomber struck a funeral tent packed with relatives and guests in Baghdad's Shula district, a former stronghold of anti-U.S. cleric Moqtada al-Sadr but now thought to be controlled by a violent splinter group, Asaib al-Haq.
"I see blood everywhere. I see at least five or six damaged cars, smoke rising from them, chairs scattered everywhere," said Murtadha Kadhem, a freelance TV cameraman working for Reuters.
Deputy Health Minister Khamis al-Saad said 35 people were killed and 65 wounded, and a local hospital official gave the same death toll. An Interior Ministry source put the toll at 37 dead and 78 wounded.
Two other security sources said more than 45 people were killed and around 120 were wounded.

The bombing on Friday partially damaged a Shia hospital that was under construction in the Pass Kili area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province's Hangu district.
It was the fourth such attack in Pakistan since Monday.
"The bomber blew up his car at the hospital gate," Abdul Rashid, the local police chief, said.
The attack comes just a day after the start of the holy month of Muharram, which is especially important for Shias.
The attack came just two days after a teenage suicide bomber killed 17 people at a busy market in the garrison town of Kohat, which neighbours Hangu.

Iranian nuke scientist gets Blown up!
Kind of ironic.
Harsh warnings to those who go around sploding up the Iranian Nuke scientists, they warned "enemies" not to play with fire,"Our nation's patience has a limit ... when it is over our enemies will face a tedious fate," Spooky eh!
(Reuters) - Two car bomb blasts killed one Iranian nuclear scientist and wounded another in Tehran on Monday, Iran's al Alam Arabic language television reported.
The bombings, rare attacks in the Iranian capital, occurred ahead of a possible meeting between Iran and major powers next month to discuss the country's nuclear program.
Analysts say information about Iran's nuclear activities is very valuable for the United States and its allies, particularly ahead of the meeting.
In the past months, Iran has arrested a number of "nuclear spies," warning citizens over leaking information to foreign secret services.
"Majid Shahriyari was martyred and his wife was injured ... Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani and his wife were both wounded," state radio said. "The attackers planted a bomb on each of the teachers' vehicles."
Iran's atomic chief Ali Akbar Salehi warned "enemies" not to play with fire by carrying out such attacks.

Blast kills seven in China's Xinjiang
Not just any Bicycle Bombing , A three wheeled Bike Bombing !
You got to make sure you get that bomb to the Intended target , so what better way ?
Them Muslims they are so crazy these days , What better way to prove that Islam Is the Religion of peace !
BBC
Seven people have been killed and 14 injured in a bomb blast in China's Xinjiang region.
The explosion happened in Aksu city in the west of the remote western region.
A local government spokeswoman, Hou Hanmin, said a Uighur man drove a three-wheeled vehicle carrying an explosive device into a crowd.
The man was arrested at the scene and investigations were ongoing, Ms Hou said.
The motive behind what appears to be a bomb blast in China's western Xinjiang region is not yet clear. But many will suspect it is linked to the region's ongoing ethnic tension.
There have not been many major incidents over recent months since last year's riots that left nearly 200 dead. But few people suspect the underlying ethnic problems have been solved.
A visitor to Xinjiang's capital, Urumqi, can instantly see the distrust between these two ethnic groups; they mostly live in separate areas.
Many of Xinjiang's mostly Muslim Uighurs complain that Han Chinese migrants are changing the nature of the region - as well as taking all the best jobs.
Xinjiang's governor, speaking on Thursday before the explosion was known about, was reported to have said that the government faced a long, fierce struggle against separatism.
"It was a three-wheeled vehicle, it has an explosive device on it," she told the BBC Chinese service.
"It exploded while the three-wheeled vehicle ran into the crowd at a street intersection,"

Bomb explodes in Colombian capital
Being a DJ In Colombia is a Dangerous job !
(Reuters) - A suspected car bomb exploded on Thursday in the north of Colombia's capital Bogota outside a main radio station, slightly injuring six people and blowing out windows in a rare urban attack.
Television images showed a damaged bus abandoned on a main avenue and panicked residents in the streets, but police said there were no deaths in the first major bombing since President Juan Manuel Santos took office at the weekend.
"This is a terrorist attack," Santos told reporters at the site of the blast.
Bombings and attacks on Colombian cities have dropped sharply since former President Alvaro Uribe took office in 2002. Violence from the country's war ebbed as Uribe's security campaign battered leftist rebels and drug traffickers.
The main anchorman of Caracol, one of the country's major radio stations, has received threats from armed groups before and has in the past left Colombia for his safety.

Shahzad Admits Trying to Bomb Times Square
Mr. Shahzad, 30 years old, told the courtroom he would plead guilty "100 times over" until the U.S. pulls its troops from Afghanistan and Pakistan and stops unmanned drone strikes against terror suspects. "I am part of the answer to the U.S. terrorizing the Muslim nations and the Muslim people, and on behalf of that, I'm avenging the attacks," Mr. Shahzad said.
Oh Goody , We have to look forward to more of these Wannabe Turd Farming Taliban Rejects ,Screwing up their Car Bombing attempts throughout the United States .
I mean , luckily this Jackass was unsuccessful in his attempt , but if he thinks His Failed attempt is the Muzzys "Answer" to the U.S. Blowing the Shit out of the Taliban with Hellfire Missiles , He truly is a Moron .
The Wall Street Journal
A Pakistani-born U.S. citizen, calling himself "a Muslim soldier" avenging U.S. attacks in Muslim countries, admitted Monday that he tried to detonate a crudely made car bomb in New York's Times Square in May.
Faisal Shahzad, of Shelton, Conn., pleaded guilty in federal court in Manhattan to a 10-count indictment that included charges of conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction, attempting an act of terrorism and transportation of an explosive. He faces life in prison when he is sentenced.
And Guaranteed , He will get it !

Administration Faces Criticism for Mirandizing Times Square Suspect
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Tuesday that Shahzad's citizenship should settle the issue.
"This is a U.S. citizen arrested on U.S. soil. He is suspected of committing a crime," Hoyer said. "I think it's pretty-well settled law."
In other words , HML Steny Hoyer , Would think it O.K. if say some Lone wolf style radical Islamists hell bent on their Jihad , were to come to the U.S. , work for their Citizenship , get it , And then commit their fully premeditated crime And then just be considered a U.S. Citizen Who has Committed a crime ! Not an Al Qaida operative or a Taliban Reject ,
Sorry Dumbass but a Terrorist is a Terrorist no matter what you say !
Foxnews
The Obama administration is once again facing criticism for deciding to Mirandize a terror suspect within hours after his arrest, with some officials saying investigators questioning the Times Square bombing suspect didn't need to read him his rights until they got more information.
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and other Republicans say Faisal Shahzad, a naturalized U.S. citizen, should have been treated as an enemy combatant out of the gate. Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn, said as far as he's concerned, Shahzad lost his entitlement to Miranda Rights when he was arrested on terrorism charges....
Going forward, Lieberman said he wants to introduce legislation that would strip U.S. citizenship -- and its inherent rights -- from anyone found to be fighting with a foreign terror group.
While lawmakers can do nothing about Shahzad now that he has been read his rights, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on Wednesday suggested that if Shahzad is being tried as a U.S. citizen in a civilian court, federal prosecutors should consider charging him with treason -- a crime that carries the death penalty.
"When it comes to an American citizen, they have a responsibility under the Constitution not to betray their country," Graham said. "There's a place for federal court and the charge of treason should always be on the table. No one got killed in this instance, thank God, but if it is proven that this man committed an act of treason against his fellow citizens, I want to keep that charge available to our government."
As a U.S. citizen, Shahzad could still face a military commission if he is found to be linked to Al Qaeda.

Suicide bombers kill 33 in Iraqi city before poll
How nice , the religion of peace shows the world once again how peaceful it really is , and how do these peaceful Muslims prove it , well by sploding themselves up in the middle of a crowd Thats how !
It just does not get any more pieceful than that !
Allah frickin ackbar !
BAQUBA, Iraq (Reuters) - Suicide bombers struck Iraq on Wednesday just days before a national election, killing 33 people and wounding 55 as the war-scarred nation seeks to cement its frail democracy before a U.S. troop pullout.
The parliamentary poll on Sunday is viewed as pivotal for Iraq as U.S. forces prepare to end combat operations in August ahead of a full withdrawal by end-2011, and Iraq starts to lure foreign investors in an effort to rebuild.
The bombings could damage the campaign of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who has partly based his hopes of re-election on improved security throughout Iraq. U.S. and Iraqi officials say attacks by suspected Sunni Islamist insurgents are aimed at undermining his Shi'ite-led government.
Sporadic political violence and assassinations have marred the immediate run-up to the election, especially in Baghdad and the western province of Anbar.
But until Wednesday the campaign had not seen major assaults by suicide bombers like those that devastated public buildings and hotels in Baghdad in January, December, October and August.
Police said the first two attackers drove explosives-packed cars at police stations in the center and west of the turbulent city of Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad.
The third assailant rode in an ambulance from one of the first blast sites to the city's main hospital, where he detonated his bomb as casualties from the earlier explosions were ferried there.
"He was disguised as a wounded person. He was wearing a camouflage uniform. He blew himself up when he got out of the ambulance at the entrance of the hospital," police spokesman Major Ghalib al-Jubouri said.
The bomber had tried to target the provincial police chief, who had been visiting the hospital, but security guards stopped him. Many people were killed or wounded. More chaos erupted as the police chief's bodyguards shot randomly in the air.
"The suicide attacker was wearing a police uniform, with the rank of lieutenant," Ali Mohammed, a wounded policeman receiving treatment at the hospital, told Reuters.
At least 12 of the dead were police officers.

Car bomb kills 90 in Pakistan as Hillary Clinton visits
More Muslim killing Muslim action in Pakistan ! yet another car bomb in a crowded market , and what did these innocent people do ?
Nothing ! Just guilty of going about there Business ! ....
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (Reuters) - A car bomb ripped through a crowded market killing 90 people in Pakistan's city of Peshawar on Wednesday, just hours after Washington's top diplomat arrived pledging a fresh start in sometimes strained relations.
Wednesday's bomb, the latest urban attack since the army launched a major assault on rural Taliban strongholds two weeks ago, was the deadliest since 2007 when around 140 died at a procession to welcome home former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, who was assassinated just weeks later.
The bomb went off in the busy Peepal Mandi market street in a city that for years served as the headquarters of the Pakistan- and U.S.- backed mujahideen war against the Soviet Union's occupation of Afghanistan.
Although nobody claimed responsibility, suspicion immediately fell on Pakistani Taliban militants who are the target of the army offensive.
That would be a good Bet !
