Ex-Taliban Trainee, 12, Reportedly Warns of Army of Female Suicide Bombers

Women suicide bombers make sense to me.
With all the beatings and abuse they are subject to, it is no surprise that they want to strap on a bomb a blow the shit out of as many men as possible.

Foxnews
A 12-year-old girl who escaped the Taliban in Pakistan says the group is assembling an army of female suicide bombers to carry out attacks across the border.

Meena Gul, who comes from a family of Taliban militants, was detained by security personnel in January after an offensive destroyed militants hideouts in Charmang, Pakistan's The Express Tribune reported.

Gul told the Tribune she was being trained to be a suicide bomber, along with several other women, by her sister in law, Zainab, who fought Pakistani forces dressed as a man.

"She escorted eight women from our village to Afghanistan," she said.

Gul told the paper her brother, a Taliban commander, expected her to follow in the footsteps of her younger sister, who blew herself up in an attack in Afghanistan.

"I, however, managed to escape. I was too scared," she said.

Police were skeptical of Gul's story until Saturday when a burqa-clad bomber killed at least 40 people at a Pakistan food center, the Tribune reported.

Islamists lead Pakistan strike in political crisis

Thousands of supporters of Islamic parties chanting anti-American slogans rallied in the southwestern town of Chaman bordering Afghanistan and warned the government against any move to change the blasphemy law.

Can you Blame them?

How else are they going to get their fill of accusing innocent people of Blasphemy, and having weekly stonings and Hangings.

(Reuters) - Business centers were shut in Pakistan on Friday in a strike called by Islamists to pressure the ruling party which is scrambling to stop its main coalition partner from pulling out of the governing coalition...

Thousands of supporters of Islamic parties chanting anti-American slogans rallied in the southwestern town of Chaman bordering Afghanistan and warned the government against any move to change the blasphemy law.

The law came under the spotlight after a Christian woman was sentenced to death in November by a court on charges of insulting Islam. Critics say the law is used to persecute religious minorities, fan religious extremism and settle personal scores.

"This government is planning to change the blasphemy law under foreign pressure but Muslims of this country will never allow it to do so," Abdul Raheem Mazhari, a cleric and a local leader of the Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam party, told protesters.

Ivory Coast on brink of "genocide,"

When Politics go wrong.

The U.N., Whether they go in or not; Mr.Gbagbo will likely wreak havoc on the Ivory coast.

(Reuters) - Political unrest following Ivory Coast's disputed presidential election has brought the West African country to the "brink of genocide," its new ambassador to the United Nations said.

World leaders have stepped up pressure on Laurent Gbagbo to quit in favor of Alassane Ouattara, widely recognized as having won the vote.

Youssoufou Bamba, appointed as ambassador to the United Nations by Ouattara, described him as the rightful ruler of Ivory Coast.

"He has been elected in a free, fair, transparent, democratic election. The result has been proclaimed by the independent electoral commission, certified by the U.N.," Bamba told a news conference on Wednesday.

"To me the debate is over, now you are talking about how and when Mr. Gbagbo will leave office," Bamba said.

He said there had been a "massive violation of human rights," with more than 170 people killed during street demonstrations in Ivory Coast.

"Thus, one of the messages I try to get across during the conversations I have conducted so far, is to tell we are on the brink of genocide. Something should be done," Bamba told journalists.

Drug gang suspects threaten 'war' in Guatemala

The Zetas have begun controlling cocaine trafficking in the area since the gang killed Guatemalan drug boss Juan Jose "Juancho" Leon in 2008. They are blamed for numerous shootings in the region, plus the killing of five police officers in 2009, a confrontation that resulted in the confiscation of 500 grenades and other military weapons and ammunition.

Yeah, it is not a big problem.

Just pay no Attention.

Mexico will not let a war breakout.(sarc off)

Foxnews
Men claiming to belong to the Zetas drug gang forced radio stations to broadcast a threat of war in a northern Guatemalan province where the government declared a state of siege last week, authorities said Tuesday.

The men arrived at three radio stations in the northern city of Coban and threatened to burn the premises down and kill journalists and their families if the message was not broadcast, Interior Ministry spokesman Nery Morales said.

The message, which the radio broadcasters read out Monday, threatened violence if Guatemalan President Alvaro Colom does not fulfill unspecified promises. It said "war will start in this country, in shopping malls, schools and police stations."

Guatemala declared a monthlong state of siege Dec. 19 in the northern province of Alta Verapaz, a prime corridor for smuggling drugs from Honduras to Mexico and a bastion of Mexico's brutal Zetas drug gang.

Clooney, Google, U.N. watch Sudan using satellites

Can you Play a Spy or a secret agent type character in a movie and then become one in real life?

I think it a little odd that all these Hollywood Actors,

Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, David Pressman and producer Jerry Weintraub.

Are willing to venture into spy satellites to watch over a "Possible" Conflict area.

How long before they join forces with other big business's to do the same here?

(Reuters) - Groups including the United Nations, Harvard University, Google Inc and an organization co-founded by actor George Clooney are launching a project using satellites to "watch" Sudan for war crimes before a vote that could split the African country in two.

The Satellite Sentinel Project, which begins on Wednesday, is meant to provide an "early warning system" for human rights and security violations before the January 9 referendum on whether to divide Sudan into north and south.

"We want to let potential perpetrators of genocide and other war crimes know that we're watching, the world is watching," Clooney said in a statement.

The satellite project received funding for six months from Not On Our Watch, an organization co-founded by Clooney and his Hollywood friends, actors Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, David Pressman and producer Jerry Weintraub.

drone attack kills 6

The strike occurred less than 40 kilometers (24 miles) from two suspected drone strikes on Monday, in which at least 18 people were killed.

Sweet.

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- A suspected U.S. drone strike in Pakistan's tribal region killed six alleged militants, the latest such attack in the region, Pakistani intelligence officials said.

Based on a CNN count, Tuesday's strike brings the number to 109 this year, compared with 52 in all of 2009.

It took place in North Waziristan, one of seven districts in Pakistan's volatile tribal region bordering Afghanistan, where suspected drone strikes targeting militants have spiked in recent weeks.

Two intelligence officials said the suspected drone fired two missiles on a militant hideout in the area of Ghulam Khan.

Later, a suspected drone circled around the blast site and fired two more missiles.

Suicide bombings in Iraq.

Yep, Another suicide Bombing in a Muslim Country.

So much for that new Inclusive Government thing.

(Reuters) - Twin suicide bombings rocked a government compound in Iraq's western city of Ramadi on Monday, killing as many as 17 people, a police source said.

Details of the attack, the second on the compound this month, remained sketchy with different sources giving varying figures for those killed and injured.

"The death toll has risen to 17, most of them police officers, and 47 people have been wounded," said a police official at the site of the attack, speaking on condition of anonymity. He said the blasts were caused by two successive vehicle bombs, and rescue operations were still under way.

A doctor at Ramadi hospital, who also declined to be named, said that at least 14 people had been killed and 52 wounded. "Some of the injured are in serious condition. Emergency vehicles are still bringing in casualties," he said.

14,000 flee Ivory Coast, says UN

A Gbagbo adviser has said he does not believe their supporters are behind the attacks.

Press association
At least 14,000 people have fled the violence and political chaos in Ivory Coast, some walking for up to four days with little food to reach neighbouring Liberia, the UN refugee agency said. At least one child drowned while trying to cross a river.

The UN has said at least 173 people have died in violence over the disputed presidential run-off election held nearly a month ago. The toll is believed to be much higher, though, as the UN mission has been blocked from investigating other reports including an allegation of a mass grave.

"Food supplies are running short despite efforts by the government and humanitarian agencies to bring in more assistance," the UN refugee agency said in a statement. "Our staff report that host community houses are full and congested. In the area of Butuo, for example, there are homes where seven to 20 family members share a single room, while others sleep in corridors or on verandas."

West African leaders have threatened a military intervention if the man who the UN says lost the election in Ivory Coast does not step down. James Gbeho, president of the regional bloc Ecowas, said the group was making an "ultimate gesture" to Laurent Gbagbo to urge him to make a peaceful exit.

Mr Gbagbo has shown few signs that he plans to go, and his security forces have been accused of being behind hundreds of arrests, and dozens of cases of disappearance and torture in recent weeks. A Gbagbo adviser has said he does not believe their supporters are behind the attacks.

Troops patrol Nigerian city after deadly attacks

Another more eye opening look at how Muslims celebrate Christmas.

Some real decent Savages.

AFP
JOS, Nigeria — Nigerian soldiers patrolled the streets of the central city of Jos on Sunday after a series of Christmas Eve bomb blasts that killed dozens in attacks the army chief has labelled terrorism.

Authorities have sought to keep the violence from spreading in the region, which has been previously hit by sectarian clashes that have left hundreds dead this year and which officials say have been fueled by politics.

At least 32 people were killed and 74 wounded when seven explosions went off in two different areas of Jos on Friday evening, with many of the victims doing their Christmas shopping at the time. A church was also targeted, the state governor has said.

On the same night, suspected members of an Islamist sect that launched an uprising last year attacked three churches in northern Nigeria, leaving six people dead and one of the churches burnt.

There was no immediate indication the incidents in the vast country's north and central regions were linked.

Dutch police arrest Somalis over terrorism plot

So many Somalians, So little time.

You gotta stay on top of these jackass's.

(Reuters) - Dutch police arrested 12 Somalis on Christmas Eve on suspicion of plotting an imminent terrorist attack in the Netherlands.

The alleged plot was uncovered in a country seen as a potential target for militants over its former military role with NATO forces in Afghanistan and due to the growing influence of an anti-Muslim party at home.

Twelve men aged between 19 and 48 were arrested late on Friday after a message was received from the Dutch intelligence and security service AIVD, prosecutors said in a statement.

"The (AIVD) message reports that a number of Somalis wanted to make a terrorist attack in the Netherlands in the short term," the prosecutors said. They did not say what the intended target was.

KHAR, Pakistan — A burqa-clad female suicide bomber in Pakistan lobbed hand grenades, then detonated her explosive belt among a crowd at an aid center Saturday, killing at least 45 people in militants' latest strike against the authorities' control over the key tribal region bordering Afghanistan.

Police believed it was the first time Islamic militants have sent a woman to carry out a suicide attack in Pakistan, where the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan against al-Qaida and the Taliban insurgents continues to spill over despite Islamabad's repeated claims of victory on its side of the porous border.

The bomber, dressed in the head-to-toe burqa robes that women commonly wear Pakistan and Afghanistan, was challenged by police at a check point, officials said.

She then charged toward a group of 300 people lined up outside the food aid distribution center in the town of Khar, tossing two hand grenades before blowing herself up, officials said. The crowd was made up of people who have fled conflicts elsewhere in the area.

WASHINGTON — President Obama is planning the first major reorganization of his administration, preparing to shuffle several positions in the West Wing as he tries to fortify his political team for the realities of divided government and his own re-election.

The president is studying how to maximize the power of the executive branch, advisers said, seeking insight from veterans of previous administrations and fresh advice from business leaders to guide the second half of his term.

He is reviewing the restructuring plan during the holidays, aides said, and intends to make the first announcements in the opening days of January.

Mail Bombs in Rome

A case of Deja vu?
No claims of responsibility yet...

The New York Times
ROME — Diplomatic missions in Rome were hit by a coordinated assault of parcel bombs on Thursday, officials and news agencies reported, seriously injuring at least one person and injecting Europe with a new atmosphere of anxiety about possible terrorist plots ahead of the Christmas holiday. Police were conducting checks at all embassies in the capital, The Associated Press reported.

The first attack, a parcel bomb at the Swiss Embassy, exploded at midday. Shortly after, a second parcel bomb exploded at the Chilean Embassy here, wounding an employee, Reuters reported, and a suspicious package was reported at the Ukrainian Embassy in Rome.

It was not immediately clear who had sent the packages or why the embassies had been chosen as targets. The Swiss embassy said that no one had claimed responsibility for the bomb there.

Middle East Peace- Brilliant, Just Brilliant.

So why would you be telling Israel to proceed with extreme restraint, And not be saying the same to The PP (Palestinin Pukes)?

The Jerusalem post

UN Middle East envoy Robert Serry on Wednesday condemned the "firing of indiscriminate mortars and rockets by militant groups in Gaza at Israel which has escalated in recent days."

"These attacks are in clear violation of international humanitarian law and endanger civilians in Israel,'' Serry said in a statement...

He said that Israel has a right to self-defense but urged Jerusalem "to exercise maximum restraint and take every precaution to ensure that its forces do not endanger civilians in Gaza."

Earlier on Wednesday, Palestinian Authority chief negotiator Saeb Erekat expressed concern over Israel's latest attacks on the Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported.

Erekat stated that the Palestinian Authority fears Israel will launch a new large-scale attack on Gaza, following escalated tensions in the area.

The PA negotiator added that military measures will not solve anything and will only make things worse.
Why is that? Maybe if the NumbNuts that are the PA would just control Their Country, they would not be having their retarded ass's handed to Them everytime.

Durbin, Democrat of Illinois, a main champion of the Dream act, urged a yes vote. “I want to make it clear to my colleagues, you won’t get many chances in the United States Senate, in the course of your career, to face clear votes on the issue of justice,” he said.

“Thousands of children in American who live in the shadows and dream of greatness,” he said. “They are children who have been raised in this country. About 140 inmates escape Mexican border prison

Mexico's Prison system is just worthless.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — About 140 inmates escaped Friday from a state prison in the northern Mexico border city of Nuevo Laredo, across the border from Laredo, Texas.

The federal Interior Department blamed the breakout on local authorities, saying they did not properly guard the facility.

"The absence of effective methods of guarding and control by local authorities is deplorable, and it has caused frequent escapes from prisons that put the public at risk," the department said in a statement.

It called on state authorities to clean up their prison and judicial systems by increased screening and vetting of corrections officers. In past cases, prison guards — often underpaid or under threat from gangs — have been implicated in prison escapes.

Federal police were dispatched to patrol the area, and roadblocks were set up to search for escaped prisoners.

Mexican drone crashes in Texas during test

The official did not know whether Mexican law enforcement or military officials were operating the aircraft, but said that the Mexican government was using it for surveillance of the border

Or maybe it is being used to help all those undocumented workers slip past the U.S. Border Patrol!
It's just a thought, You know.
What the hell is the Mexican government trying to keep their eyes on?

Nothing fancy here, I've seen better.

MSNBC
A small unmanned Mexican drone that crashed into a backyard in El Paso, Texas, was part of a surveillance test by Mexican authorities that ended abruptly when operators lost control of the aircraft, a U.S. security official told NBC News on Friday.

The Department of Homeland Security official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the 7-foot-long Orbiter Mini UAV drone flew off course during the test on Tuesday, then veered into Texas airspace and crashed behind a house in El Paso's former agricultural area, where homes are typically built on 1-acre lots. No one was hurt.

The official did not know whether Mexican law enforcement or military officials were operating the aircraft, but said that the Mexican government was using it for surveillance of the border, NBC News reported.

Mexican drug war deaths surpass 30,100

Throughout the country, 12,456 people were killed in drug-related violence from January through November this year, he said, bringing the total number of deaths since December 2006 to 30,196, the state-run Notimex news agency reported.

On Tuesday the year's death tally in Ciudad Juarez reached 3,000 -- 10 times the number of annual killings that the border city counted just a few years ago.

yep Pres Calderon sure has done a lot to save Mexico, I mean look at the statistics only 12,456 people killed in 11 months!
That's only 1238 Murders a month, or about 34 Murders a day !

and 3000 alone in Jaurez!

Damn I may move there, it sounds like such a nice place.

Mexico City (CNN) -- More than 30,100 people have died in drug-related violence since Mexican President Felipe Calderon began a crackdown on cartels, the country's attorney general said.

Armed with statistics about what he described as a "significant transformation" in Mexico's fight against organized crime, Mexican Attorney General Arturo Chavez Chavez said the importance of restoring the rule of law throughout the country was the driving force behind Calderon's initiative, which started shortly after he took office in December 2006.

"What is very clear is that there is an important weakening of criminal structures. ... There is no criminal organization that can be even remotely superior to the force of the state," Chavez told reporters at a year-end meeting Thursday.

World's Worst Nuclear Disaster Site to Welcome Tourists

Would you go to Chernobyl?

Aol
News that Chernobyl will soon open to tourists comes amid revelations today from the Accounts Chamber of the Ukrainian government, reported in the Russian and Ukrainian press, that not all funds budgeted for controlling the disaster site over recent years have actually been spent there and that the site is still a potential danger. In particular, the other three reactors have not been shut down according to plan, and the site has not been cleared of radioactive material, the Accounts Chamber said.

A "sarcophagus" constructed over the remains of reactor No. 4 has been deteriorating under pressure from within. The government plans to complete a new, more reliable shield by 2012. The Washington Post reported that the new shell is to be 345 feet tall, 853 feet wide and 490 feet long -- enough to contain Notre Dame Cathedral or the Statue of Liberty -- and will weigh 20,000 tons.

TEHRAN — A suicide attack killed at least 38 Shiite Muslims and wounded many more at a highly symbolic and emotionally charged mourning ceremony near a mosque in southeastern Iran on Wednesday, the official IRNA news agency said.

One bomber was killed when he detonated a belt of explosives outside the Imam Hussein Mosque in the city of Chabahar near the border with Pakistan, news reports said, and two others were arrested after their explosives apparently failed to go off.

The bombing coincided with the mourning period leading up to Ashura, which commemorates the death of Imam Hussein, the grandson of Islam’s prophet Muhammad in the 7th century.

(Reuters) - North Korea appears to be readying for a possible third nuclear test as early as next March, a newspaper reported on Wednesday, as a U.S. politician travelled to Pyongyang with a message for the North to "calm down."

U.S. and South Korean intelligence have been watching the North's nuclear sites for any activity. Analysts say the North could use a test to try to gain leverage in international talks it is seeking and secure aid to prop up its destitute economy.

South Korea's Chosun Ilbo daily on Wednesday cited an intelligence official from Seoul as saying a tunnel was being dug at the country's nuclear test site that could be completed in March next year, possibly heralding a new nuclear test.

20 armed Taliban give up militancy in W. Afghanistan

This is the stuff you just don't hear about in the news.
200 Taliban have given up their weapons for peace in the past month.
Encouraging as it sounds, chances are they recruit more than that to their cause.

Afghanistan news Center
Twenty armed Taliban militants gave up militancy and surrendered to government in Afghanistan's western Herat province on Monday, provincial governor Daud Saba said.

"Twenty Taliban fighters who were active in Shindand district have joined the peace process and handed over their weapons including 13 Kalashnikovs and rocket-propelled grenades to security officials in Herat city this morning," Saba told Xinhua.

Commander of the group Mullah Abdul Jabar vowed that from now on to defend peace and security in the province, he added .

With joining these former rebels peace and stability would be maintained in Shindad district and surrounding areas, he emphasized.

Taliban militants fighting Afghan government and NATO-led troops have yet to make comments.

Over 200 insurgents, according to local officials, have surrendered to government in western and northern provinces over the past one month.

Mexico can't control border

Not that border silly, Their southern border.

Mexico does not have a problem with their northern border, that is our problem.

El Paso Times
The Mexican government has no control of its 577-mile border with Guatemala, where arms, drugs and immigrant smugglers appear to have free rein, according to a U.S. diplomatic cable disclosed recently by WikiLeaks.

The document says that Mexico does not have enough resources to patrol the border.

"Limited resources also undermine the effort: while there are 30,000 U.S. CBP officers on the 1,926-mile Mexican/U.S. border, only 125 Mexican immigration officials monitor the 577-mile border with Guatemala," the document states.

"The weakness of the state (Guatemalan government), the pervasive violence, the widespread corruption, and the country's strategic location for drug trafficking are creating a very dangerous cocktail."

The state of lawlessness in Guatemala is such that residents rely on the Zetas instead of police to provide security, the released documents say. The Zetas, who formerly worked for the Gulf cartel, are reported to be making inroads in Chihuahua state.

Justice Department Sues School for Refusing to OK Teacher's Pilgrimage to Mecca

Of course they were sued, how dare anyone deny Muslims their right to do whatever they want.
Especially in the home state of the Obama.

Foxnews
The federal government sued a suburban Chicago school district Monday for denying a Muslim middle school teacher unpaid leave to make a pilgrimage to Mecca that is a central part of her religion.

In a civil rights case, the department said the school district in Berkeley, Ill., denied the request of Safoorah Khan on grounds that her requested leave was unrelated to her professional duties and was not set forth in the contract between the school district and the teachers union. In doing so the school district violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by failing to reasonably accommodate her religious practices, the government said.

Khan wanted to perform the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia which every adult Muslim is supposed to make at least once in a lifetime if they are physically and financially able to. Millions go each year.

Chavez says decree powers may last 18 months

Opposition parties were furious.

"This is madness, a lack of respect for the popular will and a coup d'etat against the constitution," opposition politician Pastora Medina told Reuters.

"He's consolidating himself as a dictator."

No! A Dictator ?

Nice you nitwits are finally waking up, to bad it is a little to late.

(Reuters) - President Hugo Chavez sought to outflank Venezuela's rejuvenated opposition on Monday by vowing to assume decree powers for up to 18 months in a move bound to heighten criticism he is stifling democracy.

The charismatic socialist leader and U.S. critic justifies the measure as an emergency response to floods that have made 130,000 people homeless -- but it is also clearly a preemptive step before a less compliant parliament convenes on January 5.

Chavez accepted the results of a September vote that gave opponents about 40 percent of seats in the 165-member National Assembly. Opposition parties had feared he would simply bypass parliament rather than face a brake on power.

"We'll show them what we're capable of!" Chavez said, waving a copy of the special "Enabling Law" his Cabinet is preparing to submit to the outgoing parliament on Tuesday.

Opposition parties were furious.

"This is madness, a lack of respect for the popular will and a coup d'etat against the constitution," opposition politician Pastora Medina told Reuters.

"He's consolidating himself as a dictator."

NKorea threatens SKorea with nuclear war

Uh Oh !

"is nothing but treachery escalating the tension between the North and the South and bringing the dark clouds of a nuclear war to hang over the Korean peninsula,"

Nuclear war? I don't think that the Norks understand what will happen to them if they attempt to have a Nuclear war.
Do you think the U.S. Will sit and let that happen ?

Then again it is the Same Bullshit Different day thing when talking about the Norks.

Foxnews
SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea warned Monday that U.S.-South Korean cooperation could bring a nuclear war to the region, as the South began artillery drills amid lingering tension nearly three weeks after the North's deadly shelling of a South Korean island.

The South's naval live-fire drills are scheduled to run Monday through Friday at 27 sites. The regularly scheduled exercises are getting special attention following a North Korean artillery attack on front-line Yeonpyeong Island that killed two South Korean marines and two civilians.

The Nov. 23 artillery barrage, the North's first assault to target a civilian area since the end of the 1950-53 Korean War, began after the North said South Korea first fired artillery toward its territorial waters. South Korea says it fired shells southward, not toward North Korea, as part of routine exercises.

Breyer: Founding Fathers Would Have Allowed Restrictions on Guns

Nice! I guess we can expect to see a spike in second amendment Challenges For the next few Years.
Lock and load people, It is going to be a bumpy ride!

Speaking about James Madison..."was worried about opponents who would think Congress would call up state militias and nationalize them. 'That can't happen,' said Madison,"

Therefore all the more reason to give us the full right to Keep and Bear arms Jackass!

Foxnews
If you look at the values and the historical record, you will see that the Founding Fathers never intended guns to go unregulated, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer contended Sunday.

Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," Breyer said history stands with the dissenters in the court's decision to overturn a Washington, D.C., handgun ban in the 2008 case "D.C. v. Heller."

Breyer wrote the dissent and was joined by Justices John Paul Stevens, David H. Souter and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He said historians would side with him in the case because they have concluded that Founding Father James Madison was more worried that the Constitution may not be ratified than he was about granting individuals the right to bear arms.

Madison "was worried about opponents who would think Congress would call up state militias and nationalize them. 'That can't happen,' said Madison," said Breyer, adding that historians characterize Madison's priority as, "I've got to get this document ratified."

Gunbattle kills 11 in western Mexican town

Quotas? We don't need no stinking Quotas!

11 killed at a religious gathering of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Foxnews
A gunbattle between rival gangs killed 11 people during a Virgin of Guadalupe celebration in a western Mexican town, authorities said Saturday.

Armed men arrived in three cars and opened fire on another group of gunmen in the main plaza of Tecalitlan just as a crowd was gathering Friday night, the Jalisco state attorney general's office said in a statement. One of the gunmen hurled a grenade.

Eight men were killed at the scene and two others died at a hospital, the office said.

Another man, the brother of one of those killed in the plaza, was found shot to death next to a car on the highway just outside the small town, the statement said.

Inside the car, which had been reported stolen, authorities found two banners. One read: "We haven't come to kill innocent people. We've come for El Zopilote." The other said: "We do not charge quotas."

U.S. intel hub to counter Islamism in Spain: cable

This is the kind of stuff you never get to hear when you have an oppressive Government.
Thanks to Wikileaks Now we all can hear about it.

I just wonder how the Muslims in Spain are taking the news?

(Reuters) - The U.S. Embassy in Madrid proposed setting up an intelligence hub in the northeastern region of Catalonia to counter a "major center of radical Islamist activity," according to a U.S. cable obtained by WikiLeaks and published Saturday by the newspaper El Pais.

The cable, dated October 2, 2007, said U.S. and Spanish authorities had identified Catalonia as having a "large Muslim Population Susceptible to Jihadist Recruitment" following increased surveillance after the 2004 Madrid train bombings, which killed 191 people.

"Specifically, we propose that our Consulate General in Barcelona become the platform for a multi-agency, jointly-coordinated counterterrorism, anti-crime, and intelligence center," said the cable, classified secret and apparently authored by then-Ambassador Eduardo Aguirre.

It was not immediately clear whether the center was set up in Barcelona. U.S. Embassy officials in Madrid were not immediately available for comment.

Bomber strikes Pakistan hospital

More continuing Muslim Killing Muslim .
Blowing up a hospital now, ain't that nice.

I encourage the Followers of the Religion of peace, to keep up with these Tactics.
It shows us 2 Things,

1) It shows us how violent they are by Killing for the Cause of Allah !

2) And it shows that sooner or later there will be a lot less of these Jackass's to worry about!

AlJazeera
A suicide bomber has blown up a car packed with explosives outside a hospital in northwest Pakistan, killing at least 15 people and wounding several dozen, police said.

The bombing on Friday partially damaged a Shia hospital that was under construction in the Pass Kili area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province's Hangu district.

It was the fourth such attack in Pakistan since Monday.

"The bomber blew up his car at the hospital gate," Abdul Rashid, the local police chief, said.

The attack comes just a day after the start of the holy month of Muharram, which is especially important for Shias.

The attack came just two days after a teenage suicide bomber killed 17 people at a busy market in the garrison town of Kohat, which neighbours Hangu.

Stuxnet Worm Still Out of Control

This on the other hand is one of the most hilarious cases of internet abuse ever perpetrated.
A vision of Imalitlmunky , jumping up and down while shaking his fists and screaming like a little baby come to mind every time I see this in the news.

Foxnews
Iran's nuclear program is still in chaos despite its leaders' adamant claim that they have contained the computer worm that attacked their facilities, cybersecurity experts in the United States and Europe say.

The American and European experts say their security websites, which deal with the computer worm known as Stuxnet, continue to be swamped with traffic from Tehran and other places in the Islamic Republic, an indication that the worm continues to infect the computers at Iran's two nuclear sites.

The Stuxnet worm, named after initials found in its code, is the most sophisticated cyberweapon ever created. Examination of the worm shows it was a cybermissile designed to penetrate advanced security systems. It was equipped with a warhead that targeted and took over the controls of the centrifuge systems at Iran’s uranium processing center in Natanz, and it had a second warhead that targeted the massive turbine at the nuclear reactor in Bashehr

Venezuela seeks to regulate Internet with media bill

Disturbing it is, that just this week alone there has been so many instances of countries wanting to censor the internet.
China As usual, not only censors the internet at all times they do it even more when they do not like what is going on in the world.
And now Venezuela is headed in the same direction.
All understood in a Communist country, it is just the way they are.

But then the U.S. Would also like to perform a little censorship Smackdown.

(Reuters) - Venezuela plans to include the Internet in a law that regulates the media, under a proposed bill presented to parliament on Thursday that the opposition claims will result in censorship.

Manuel Villalba, a lawmaker from President Hugo Chavez's Socialist Party, said the law was aimed at protecting citizens.

"Nowhere is the restriction of access to the Internet suggested. There should just exist protection of citizens' moral and ethical honor," said Villalba, who heads the National Assembly's media commission.

The bill proposes applying limits on content in "electronic media" according to the time of day, with adult content reserved for programing after midnight.

Such limitations already are in place for TV and radio programing. It was not clear how they would be applied to the Internet

The bill also proposes allowing the government to restrict access to websites if they are found to be distributing messages or information that incite violence against the president. Chavez frequently accuses the opposition of plotting to kill him.

Chavez has been criticized by media freedoms groups for forcing an opposition TV station off the air and taking away the licenses of dozens of radio stations

China blocks news websites ahead of Liu Xiaobo Nobel award

Well since China is blocking free speech, will we see Wikileaks and Anonymous target their Systems?
Probably not.

Guardian.co.uk
The news websites of the BBC, CNN and Norwegian state broadcaster NRK have been blocked on mainland China the day before Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo is to be awarded the Nobel peace prize.

Attempts to access the three broadcasters' websites today were unsuccessful, with the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page" appearing on the screen according to the news agency AFP.

The ceremony honouring Liu – who is serving an 11-year sentence for "inciting subversion" – is due to take place in Norway's capital Oslo tomorrow.

WikiLeaks cyberwar?

hackers bring down Swedish government site

Wikileaks doing the Attacks, Not.

Anonymous, yes.

Nice stuff, to bad they are crossing the line by personally attacking individuals by putting out their credit card info.
But hey whatever, we are now forced into an open society.

TheTelegraph

The official site, regeringen.se, was offline for several hours overnight and only a message saying the site could not be reached was visible.

Commercial websites including Visa, MasterCard and PayPal have already been targeted by co-ordinated action on one of the busiest shopping days of the year after the firms said that they would no longer process donations to WikiLeaks.

A group calling itself Anonymous and operating under the banner "Operation Payback" was behind some of the attacks and there were concerns that Twitter could become a target because it removed Anonymous' listing.

Hackers Target WikiLeaks 'Enemies': Mastercard, Twitter, Paypal, Even FoxNews.com

"We haven't really seen a public uprising like this before. And it's a surprise to a lot of the public that the Internet is that fragile, that individual people can have an impact like that."

So are you prepared for the Shittstorm?

Foxnews
In an unprecedented assault described variously as civil disobedience or criminal hacking, supporters of WikiLeaks struck out Wednesday at perceived enemies of the site and its jailed founder Julian Assange, launching hack attacks against MasterCard, Swedish prosecutors, and others -- and promising future attacks against Twitter, PayPal and even FoxNews.com.

The "hacktivists," operating under the label Operation: Payback, claimed responsibility in a Twitter message for causing the outages at MasterCard, which pulled the plug on its relationship with WikiLeaks on Tuesday. An online poster put out by the campaign makes its goals explicit.

"We will fire at anyone or anything that tries to censor WikiLeaks, including multi-billion dollar companies such as PayPal. Twitter, you're next for censoring #wikileaks discussion."

"The major shittstorm has begun," the poster reads.

Pearl Harbor Day.

Indystar.com
Old soldiers pass into history, and with them the battles they fought.

Even with seminal events such as Pearl Harbor, as those who were there die, the stories fade.

By now, 95 percent of those who survived the surprise attack are gone, including, as of Monday, Robert Newkirk.

Newkirk, a Franklin resident, died the day he was to speak at an observance of the 69th anniversary of the attack.

Few men were as committed to keeping alive the memory of Pearl Harbor -- officially remembered today -- as Newkirk.

Major powers, Iran resume nuclear talks

Now that Iran is supposedly a nuclear autonomous country, what the hell do they think they are going to get Iran to do?

Maybe the same thing North Korea is doing, Those previous talks worked real well too, did they not?

(Reuters) - Six world powers began their first talks with Iran in more than a year on Monday, hoping the meeting will lead to new negotiations over a nuclear program the West believes is aimed at making atomic bombs.

On the eve of the meeting in Geneva, Iran announced what it called a major step forward in its nuclear work, signaling it is not about to back down in a long-running battle over what it insists are peaceful plans for energy production.

The six powers -- Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States -- played down expectations of a major breakthrough during the Dec 6-7 discussions. Diplomats said an agreement to meet again for more substantial talks, perhaps early next year, would be a sign of progress

Iran nuclear program self-sufficient

Self sufficient?
To bad their nuclear scientists are being killed.

(CNN) -- Iran now produces everything it needs for the nuclear fuel cycle, making its nuclear program self-sufficient, the head of the country's Atomic Energy Organization told state media Sunday.

The Islamic republic has begun producing yellowcake, Ali Akbar Salehi told Press TV.

Yellowcake, an intermediate stage in processing uranium, is a uranium oxide concentrate which is then heated to remove impurities, the International Atomic Energy Agency says.

Iran had been importing it, Salehi said, but is now mining it and processing it within the country.

Chinese leaders ordered Google hack

So even when further proof arrives, denial still reigns supreme.
China will Look into this, the U.S. will still be unsure and not want to say anything to upset the Communist country.

Feel like you've Been sold out yet.

Same old Bullshit Different day!

The Washington post.
A brazen series of computer intrusions into Google networks in China announced by the search engine company earlier this year were directed by the highest levels of the Chinese government, a "well-placed" Chinese source told U.S. Embassy officials in Beijing in January.

The revelation was contained in a classified State Department cable, part of a cache of cables leaked to the site WikiLeaks and disclosed Saturday.

"A well-placed contact claims that the Chinese government coordinated the recent intrusions of Google systems," the cable said. "According to our contact, the closely held operations were directed at the Politburo Standing Committee level." ...

The penetrations resulted in the theft of "significant" intellectual property, Google officials said. The company surprised many by publicly reporting the hacking, and further by saying its investigation found that the attacks originated in China. But the company stopped short of saying the attacks were directed by the government.

U.S. officials have not verified the report. "There is a single-source report that the attack was directed by the Chinese government," said a senior U.S. official, who was not authorized to speak on the record. "We have never been able to corroborate that."

Or Maybe, just to chickenshit to say something about it .

Al Qaeda planned to kill Saudis with poisoned gifts

Al Qaida sure is not afraid to branch out in the assassination area of their network.
A new level for them I think,

Al Qaeda militants now in detention planned to kill Saudi government and security officials and media workers by sending poisoned gifts to their offices

"Using poisoned perfume which they planned to send as gifts is one of the ways the arrested people planned to carry out their assassinations,"

We (the U.S.) might want to kick it up a notch ourselves.

(Reuters) - Al Qaeda militants now in detention planned to kill Saudi government and security officials and media workers by sending poisoned gifts to their offices, an Interior Ministry official told Reuters on Saturday.

The group "planned to rob banks and companies to finance their operations," the official, who declined to be named, said.

Last month Saudi Arabia said it captured 149 al Qaeda militants in recent months who were raising money and recruiting members to carry out attacks inside the kingdom, targeting government facilities, security officials and the media.

"Using poisoned perfume which they planned to send as gifts is one of the ways the arrested people planned to carry out their assassinations," the Interior Ministry official said.

The militants, who revealed the information to Saudi security forces, belonged to 19 al Qaeda cells and included 124 Saudis and 25 foreigners. The groups had links to militants in Somalia and Yemen, the Interior Ministry said last month.

Unmanned US Spacecraft Returns After 7-Month Trip

Uh, Autonomous landing? 7 Months in space!

Can it Carry Cargo?

If it can land itself while carrying say ...

Nevermind! Move along sheeple nothing to see here.

Foxnews
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – The U.S. Air Force's secrecy-shrouded X-37B unmanned spaceplane returned to Earth early Friday after more than seven months in orbit on a classified mission, officials said.

The winged craft autonomously landed at at Vandenberg Air Force Base on the California coast 130 miles northwest of Los Angeles, Vandenburg spokesman Jeremy Eggers said.

"It's very exciting," Eggers said of the 1:16 a.m. PST landing.

The X-37B was launched by an Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Fla., on April 22, 2010, with a maximum mission duration of 270 days.

Also known as the Orbital Test Vehicle, the Boeing-built spacecraft was originally a NASA project before being taken over by the military.

The Air Force has not said whether it carried anything in its cargo bay, but insists the primary purpose of the mission was to test the craft itself.

DREAM Act Would Cost Taxpayers $6.2 Billion Per Year, Group Says

Prepare to say goodbye to America!

This is one of those ignorant things that Politicians do to get some more credit with non Americans.
With all the crap going on in the United States, someone in power(Harry Reid)thinks it a better idea to help out Non Residents, Rather than put his effort into Helping out those People he supposedly works for.
Better to help another country I guess, than to help your own.

Foxnews
A group advocating for tighter immigration laws estimates that a hotly debated bill that would give tens of thousands of illegal immigrants who attend college or join the military a path to legal status would cost taxpayers $6.2 billion a year and "crowd out" U.S. students in the classroom.

A new report from the Center for Immigration Studies says the so-called DREAM Act, which would give more than 2 million young immigrants brought to the United States before the age of 16 a chance to become legal residents, could erode the educational opportunities available to U.S. citizens.

Wendy Sefsaf, a spokeswoman for the Immigration Policy Center, said CIS has "a very common formula," which factors the costs of anything without the benefits.

Her group cited an estimate by the liberal Center for American Progress that it would cost $48.6 billion to deport more than 2 million illegal immigrants who were raised in the U.S.

"The U.S. economy doesn't need more deportations; it needs more college graduates," she said, citing a Georgetown University report that shows Americans in 2018 will fall short of achieving 22 million new college degrees -- the number some say is needed to stay globally competitive -- by at least 3 million.

As a person who is out of work, and trying to pay His way through college right now, I am DEEPLY offended at the thought that it is better to Give my Tax dollars to an Illegal Immigrant, Before even looking at my Student loan Application.

F**king Bastards !

WikiLeaks Changes Domain Name After Attacks

U.S. Sees Greater N. Korea Nuclear Threat

Yes it is Obvious that North Korea has Big Nuclear ambitions.
Yes it is Obvious that as closed off as North Korea is no one may ever know what they are doing everywhere inside their country.

A new strategy ? Sure that is what is needed, but as the nitwits of the world plan on having some more face time with each other about that, The Norks are still building their secret facilities.

Take your time guys, when you finally get done talking about it, we will be facing a fully Nuclear capable North Korea.

Foxnews
VIENNA—The Obama administration
told the United Nations nuclear watchdog that North Korea likely has built more than one uranium-enrichment facility, significantly raising the proliferation threat posed by the secretive communist state.

U.S. and European officials are pressing the International Atomic Energy Agency to better scrutinize Pyongyang's potential role in sharing its nuclear technologies with third countries. But the U.N. agency's ability to monitor Pyongyang is limited: North Korea kicked out the IAEA's inspectors in 2009.

These additional facilities would allow North Korea to significantly increase its numbers of atomic weapons, as well as their yield.

"It is likely that North Korea had been pursuing an enrichment capability long before the April 2009 date it now claims,".

"If so, there is a clear likelihood that DPRK has built other uranium enrichment-related facilities in its territory."

Arsenic-based life form discovered on Earth

Not the type of Alien Lifeforms we want to see but definitely Alien.

the Washington Post
NASA held a press conference Thursday afternoon in which they revealed the discovery of arsenic-based life forms on Earth. As Marc Kaufman explained:

All life on Earth - from microbes to elephants and us - is based on a single genetic model that requires the element phosphorus as one of its six essential components.

But now researchers have uncovered a bacterium that has five of those essential elements but has, in effect, replaced phosphorus with its look-alike but toxic cousin arsenic.

News of the discovery caused a scientific commotion, including calls to NASA from the White House and Congress asking whether a second line of earthly life has been found.

"Don't hunt down my son," says mother of WikiLeaks founder

Then tell your son not to be such a Douchebag.

(Reuters) - The mother of Australian WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said on Wednesday she was distressed by an international police alert for her son's arrest and did not want him "hunted down and jailed."

Global police agency Interpol issued a "red notice" on Tuesday to assist in the arrest of Assange, founder of the whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks, who is wanted in Sweden on suspicion of sexual crimes.

Assange, 39, a former computer hacker now at the center of a global controversy after WikiLeaks released a trove of classified U.S. diplomatic cables at the weekend, denies the Swedish allegations.

Christine Assange, who runs a puppet theater in Australia's Queensland state, said she was worried about her son's wellbeing as Australia's government joined the United States in launching an investigation into whether Assange and WikiLeaks had broken security or criminal laws.

"He's my son and I love him and obviously I don't want him hunted down and jailed. I'm reacting as any mother would. I'm distressed,"

Hmmm, I'm sure that the U.S. has committed some Cyber attacks of our own(If not Obama is a bigger pussy than I thought), But never have we reached the scale of what goes on in China.

(Reuters) - China has arrested more than 460 hackers from start of this year to the end of November, but the prospects to prevent future assaults on computer security remain grim, the ministry of public security said.

The announcement, made late on Monday, came a day after a series of leaked U.S. State Department cables, including one in which an unnamed Chinese contact alleged that China's Politburo directed an intrusion into Google's computer systems, part of a broader coordinated campaign of computer sabotage carried out by Chinese government operatives, private security experts and Internet outlaws.

"The current situation of our crackdown on hacker attacks is still very grim and the number of hacker attacks and sabotage activities in China are still high," an unnamed official said in the statement.

The ministry said it had solved 180 cyber attack cases as of the end of November.

A China foreign ministry official, who declined on Tuesday to comment on the Wikileaks' disclosure of the allegations, called on the United States to "appropriately resolve related issues" concerning the reports. The official did not elaborate.

Wikileaks cables reveal China 'ready to abandon North Korea'

Little Kimmie must feel so Ronery after hearing this.

Guardianuk
China has signalled its readiness to accept Korean reunification and is privately distancing itself from the North Korean regime, according to leaked US embassy cables that reveal senior Beijing figures regard their official ally as a "spoiled child".

News of the Chinese shift comes at a crucial juncture after the North's artillery bombardment of a South Korean island last week that killed four people and led both sides to threaten war. China has refused to condemn the North Korean action. But today Beijing appeared to bow to US pressure to help bring about a diplomatic solution, calling for "emergency consultations" and inviting a senior North Korean official to Beijing.

China's moves to distance itself from Kim are revealed in the latest tranche of leaked US embassy cables published by the Guardian and four international newspapers. Tonight, the US secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, said the US "deeply regrets" the release of the material by WikiLeaks. They were an "attack on the international community", she said. "It puts people's lives in danger, threatens our national security and undermines efforts to work with other countries to solve shared problems," she told reporters at the state department.
