Wikileaks cables reveal China 'ready to abandon North Korea'

Little Kimmie must feel so Ronery after hearing this.

Guardianuk
China has signalled its readiness to accept Korean reunification and is privately distancing itself from the North Korean regime, according to leaked US embassy cables that reveal senior Beijing figures regard their official ally as a "spoiled child".

News of the Chinese shift comes at a crucial juncture after the North's artillery bombardment of a South Korean island last week that killed four people and led both sides to threaten war. China has refused to condemn the North Korean action. But today Beijing appeared to bow to US pressure to help bring about a diplomatic solution, calling for "emergency consultations" and inviting a senior North Korean official to Beijing.

China's moves to distance itself from Kim are revealed in the latest tranche of leaked US embassy cables published by the Guardian and four international newspapers. Tonight, the US secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, said the US "deeply regrets" the release of the material by WikiLeaks. They were an "attack on the international community", she said. "It puts people's lives in danger, threatens our national security and undermines efforts to work with other countries to solve shared problems," she told reporters at the state department.

Somali sentenced to 30 years for U.S. warship attack

Take part in a murderous terrorist plot, aid Al Qaida in every way possible, we will drop Most of the Charges and only give you 20 Years(Possibly with time off for being a good little bitch)

Hijack a naval ship without killing anyone, you get 30 Years!

See how the Obama Administration is absolutely clueless, PRICELESS!

(Reuters) - A Somali man who pleaded guilty for his role in an attack against the USS Ashland warship in April was sentenced on Monday to 30 years in prison, the first sentencing in a U.S. piracy case in more than 150 years.

Jama Idle Ibrahim, 38, was one of six men brought to the United States and charged with the April 10 attack on the USS Ashland, a warship that supports amphibious operations, in the Gulf of Aden. They mistook the ship for a merchant vessel.

"Piracy is a growing threat throughout the world, and today's sentence, along with last week's convictions, demonstrates that the United States will hold modern-day pirates accountable in U.S. courtrooms," said U.S. Attorney Neil MacBride.

Ibrahim in August pleaded guilty to attacking to plunder a vessel, acts of violence against persons on a vessel, and use of a firearm during a crime of violence.

It was the first sentencing in a U.S. court in more than 150 years for acts of piracy, MacBride said...

Last week, a jury in Norfolk, Virginia convicted five men from Somalia on piracy and other related charges for a separate attack on April 1 on the USS Nicholas Navy frigate

NATO: 6 Service Members Killed in Afghanistan

HMMMMMM , what a good idea letting any Afghan anybody close to any NATO soldier!

Obviously they can't be trusted

Foxnews
A man dressed as an Afghan border police officer opened fire on NATO troops during a training mission in the east of the country Monday, killing six Americans before he was shot dead, NATO and Afghan officials said.

A U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity said the victims were Americans. The official did not provide additional details.

The shooting -- the highest toll for NATO forces since nine Americans died in a Sept. 21 helicopter crash -- was the latest in a series of shootouts in which Afghan security forces have turned on their NATO partners.

The attack also highlights the potential hazards of a push to speedily expand Afghanistan's army and police forces in the next few years. The goal is to turn over the responsibility for nationwide security to Afghan forces by 2014 so that NATO troops can go home.

U.S. Army Unveils 'Revolutionary' XM25 Rifle

With explosive rounds that can be detonated right in front of or behind their intended target the Taliban will not be happy about these guns.

Foxnews
Since the dawn of modern warfare, the best way to stay alive in the face of incoming fire has been to take cover behind a wall. But thanks to a game-changing "revolutionary" rifle, the U.S. Army has made that tactic dead on arrival. Now the enemy can run, but he can't hide.

After years of development, the U.S. Army has unleashed a new weapon in Afghanistan -- the XM25 Counter Defilade Target Engagement System, a high-tech rifle that can be programmed so that its 25-mm. ammunition does not necessarily explode on impact. Instead, it can be set to detonate either in front of or behind a target, meaning it literally will go through a wall before it explodes and kills the enemy.

It also has a range of roughly 2,300 feet -- nearly the length of eight football fields -- making it possible to fire at targets well past the range of the rifles and carbines that most soldiers carry today.

Pakistan PM barred from pardoning Christian woman

Because it is better to kill someone and be wrong about it than not to kill and be right !
Assbackwards rejects of the world.

(Reuters) - A Pakistani court Monday barred President Asif Ali Zardari from pardoning a Christian woman sentenced to death on charges of insulting Islam, in a case that has sparked criticism over the country's blasphemy law.

Asia Bibi, a 45-year-old mother of four, requested a pardon from the president after a lower court sentenced her to death on Nov 8 in a case stemming from a village dispute.

The Lahore High Court barred Zardari from pardoning Bibi in a petition filed by Shahid Iqbal, a Pakistani citizen. Iqbal's lawyer Allah Bux Laghari told Reuters a pardon was illegal as the court was already hearing an appeal against her sentence.

We believe it is the court's duty to evaluate the evidence against her, not individuals, and if she is found innocent, she should be freed," he said.

Human rights groups have demanded the repeal of the law, which they say discriminates against religious minorities who make up roughly 4 percent of Pakistan's 170 million population.

Last week, a government minister said an initial inquiry into the case of the Christian mother said she had not committed blasphemy but was falsely accused after a quarrel.

Iranian nuke scientist gets Blown up!

Kind of ironic.
Harsh warnings to those who go around sploding up the Iranian Nuke scientists, they warned "enemies" not to play with fire,"Our nation's patience has a limit ... when it is over our enemies will face a tedious fate," Spooky eh!

(Reuters) - Two car bomb blasts killed one Iranian nuclear scientist and wounded another in Tehran on Monday, Iran's al Alam Arabic language television reported.

The bombings, rare attacks in the Iranian capital, occurred ahead of a possible meeting between Iran and major powers next month to discuss the country's nuclear program.

Analysts say information about Iran's nuclear activities is very valuable for the United States and its allies, particularly ahead of the meeting.

In the past months, Iran has arrested a number of "nuclear spies," warning citizens over leaking information to foreign secret services.

"Majid Shahriyari was martyred and his wife was injured ... Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani and his wife were both wounded," state radio said. "The attackers planted a bomb on each of the teachers' vehicles."

Iran's atomic chief Ali Akbar Salehi warned "enemies" not to play with fire by carrying out such attacks.

Congratulations to the 17 Islamic extremists for dying in the name of Islam.
Have fun with your Goats.

NATO-led forces and Afghan troops killed at least 17 suspected militants in operations in southern and eastern Afghanistan, the alliance said on Saturday. The most deadly operation was conducted on Friday night by Afghan and foreign soldiers in the Sherzad district of the eastern province of
Nangarhar to find a Taliban leader after they received a tip about his location, the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a statement.

The joint forces were attacked by suspected insurgents upon arrival at the targeted area, it said, adding that the forces responded and "killed more than 15 armed insurgents".

"Further inspection of the engagement area confirmed all of the insurgents were armed with multiple automatic weapons, rocket-propelled grenade launchers and rounds, and hand grenades," the ISAF said.

You mean they are not going to sit on their hands anymore while their ass's are being handed to them?

(Reuters) - South Korea named a career soldier as its new defense minister on Friday amid mounting criticism of the government's response to Tuesday's attack by North Korea, its heaviest bombardment since the 1950-53 Korean War.

The move came hours after North Korea said that impending military exercises by the South and the United States were pushing the region toward conflict.

The presidential Blue House appointed Kim Kwan-jin, 61, former chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, to replace Kim Tae-young, who had tried to resign the defense portfolio in May following criticism of the government's response to a torpedo attack on a South Korean warship blamed on the North.

"(We) think nominee Kim, well-respected for professionalism and conviction, is the right person for the post in order to restore trust from people and boost morale in the entire military," presidential secretary Hong Sang-pyo told a news briefing.

Russian agent says charity tied to terrorism

"I rejected terrorism all my life and it is not compatible to my belief," Seda said. "Islam is a religion of justice, peace and forgiveness. Terrorism is and always has been rejected by me and my faith."

Taqiyya anyone?

Foxnews
A former Russian counterterrorism agent testified Tuesday that an Islamic charity that once had its U.S. headquarters in Oregon was financing Islamic fighters battling the Russian Army in the breakaway republic of Chechnya.

However, under cross-examination, Col. Sergey Ignatchenko acknowledged that the names he had of Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation officials tied to terrorism did not include defendant Pete Seda, also known as Pirouz Sedaghaty.

"I never knew about him, I never heard about him," he said.

Ignatchenko, now head of communications for the Russian Federal Security Service, testified via live video feed from former KGB headquarters in Moscow as a prosecution witness in the U.S. District Court sentencing of Seda. His remarks were interpreted by a translator in court.

U.S. aircraft carrier heads for Korean waters

Don't worry Obama Says this is just an exercise, we can not be threatening in any way here.
Sit and do nothing, seems to be the policy.

(Reuters) - A U.S. aircraft carrier group set off for Korean waters on Wednesday, a day after North Korea rained artillery shells on a South Korean island, in a move likely to enrage Pyongyang and unsettle its ally, China.

South Korea said the bodies of two civilians were found on
the island after Tuesday's attack, which is likely to stir up
more resentment in the country against its prickly neighbor.

The nuclear-powered USS George Washington, which carries 75 warplanes and has a crew of over 6,000, left a naval base south of Tokyo and would join exercises with South Korea from Sunday to the following Wednesday, U.S. officials in Seoul said.

"This exercise is defensive in nature," U.S. Forces Korea said in a statement. "While planned well before yesterday's unprovoked artillery attack, it demonstrates the strength of the ROK (South Korea)-U.S. alliance and our commitment to regional stability through deterrence."

NKorea threatens continued strikes on South

Uh Oh.
What now, will this blatant attack and act of war go unanswered again?

How many times is South Korea gonna take a beating and keep on doing nothing.

The Washington Post
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - North Korea bombarded a South Korean island near their disputed western border with artillery Tuesday, setting buildings ablaze and killing at least one marine after warning the South to halt military drills in the area, South Korean officials said.

South Korea said it returned fire and scrambled fighter jets in response, and said the "inhumane" attack on civilian areas violated the 1953 armistice halting the Korean War. The two sides technically remain at war because a peace treaty was never negotiated.

SEOUL, South Korea -- North Korea is threatening to continue launching strikes against South Korea if it violates their disputed sea border "even 0.001 millimeter."

North Korea's supreme military command said Tuesday that it would "launch merciless military retaliatory strikes."

The warning was carried by North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency.

A time when drinking and driving should not mix.

What...
Is there a problem with stopping at the bar for a few drinks while your driving the Nukes around ?

Foxnews
WASHINGTON -- Government agents hired to drive nuclear weapons and components in trucks sometimes got drunk while on convoy missions, including an incident last year when two agents were detained by police at a local bar during one assignment, according to a report Monday by the U.S. Energy Department's watchdog.

The department's assistant inspector general, Sandra D. Bruce, said her office reviewed 16 alcohol-related incidents involving agents, candidate-agents and others from the government's Office of Secure Transportation between 2007 through 2009. There are nearly 600 federal agents who ship nuclear weapons, weapon components and special nuclear material across the U.S.

The report said that two incidents in particular raised red flags because they happened during secure transportation missions while agents checked into local hotels during extended missions. In these cases, the vehicles were placed in "safe harbor," meaning they were moved to safe and secure locations.

South Korea considers return of US tactical weapons

The "Possibility" that U.S. Nukes could be deployed.

Guardian.co.UK.
South Korea's defence minister today raised the possibility that US nuclear weapons could be deployed in his country for the first time in nearly 20 years, after it was revealed that Pyongyang had built an advanced uranium enrichment plant.

Kim Tae-young was speaking to a parliamentary committee about the North Korea plant, when he was asked whether the government would consider the return of US tactical weapons for the first time since they were withdrawn by President George Bush Sr in 1991.

He replied that the matter would be "reviewed" by a joint US-Korean committee on deterrence set up last month. His remarks drew attention as the issue has been treated as taboo in the highly-charged atmosphere of the Korean peninsular.

Korean government officials were anxious to play down the significance of his comments, and insisted the taboo remained in place. A Korean defence ministry statement said the redeployment of nuclear weapons had not so far been raised. The Pentagon said there were no immediate plans to redeploy nuclear weapons in South Korea.

Drinking glasses depicting comic book and movie characters such as Superman, Wonder Woman and the Tin Man from "The Wizard of Oz" exceed federal limits for lead in children's products by up to 1,000 times, according to laboratory testing commissioned by The Associated Press.

The decorative enamel on the superhero and Oz sets -- made in China and purchased at a Warner Brothers Studios store in Burbank -- contained between 16 percent and 30.2 percent lead. The federal limit on children's products is 0.03 percent.

The same glasses also contained relatively high levels of the even-more-dangerous cadmium, though there are no federal limits on that toxic metal in design surfaces.

And that goes to show you how much our idiotic Government cares, It is alright for our kinds to touch the #7 most toxic substance according to the CDC.

Newsweek Depiction of Obama as Lord Shiva

Newsweek's depiction of President Obama on its latest cover has irked some Indian Americans who, fresh off Obama's visit to the world's largest democracy, are not happy with the image of the U.S. president as the Hindu deity, Lord Shiva.

The Newsweek cover shows Obama with several arms carrying policy issues while balancing on one leg. The headline reads: "God of All Things" with a subtitle, "Why the Modern Presidency May be too Much for One Person to Handle."

It was not to much for Pres Bush or even Bill Clinton, maybe Obama is just an out of touch Slacker!

Shiva, who is one of three pre-eminent gods in the Hindu religion
along with Brahma and Vishnu, is considered the destroyer of the world, which must end, metaphorically speaking, in order to be reborn as a more universalistic place. However, the god's purpose is not to foretell an apocalyptic ending.

Newsweek, which could not be reached for comment, did not have the image posted on the magazine's website on Sunday.

Mexico busts gang targeting climate summit

The Mexican cartels are looking to step it up a bit.
A possible Kidnapping or just more murders, maybe a little of both.
either way the cartels seem like they want to enter the ring of international Terrorism.

(Reuters) - A gang of suspected kidnappers arrested by Mexican marines had detailed plans of security arrangements for next week's U.N. climate change talks in Cancun, Milenio newspaper reported Sunday.

The heavily armed men had maps, photographs of the Moon Palace hotel scheduled to host the event, as well as the location of police and army security checkpoints, the paper said on its website.

The men were arrested Saturday, the navy said in a statement. It did not mention any link to the Cancun climate meeting.

The website showed photographs of seven detainees flanked by masked, armed marines in front of a navy logo. On a table in front of the men were false federal police uniforms, weapons and ammunition.

The Taliban on Sunday called NATO's plan to begin withdrawing troops from the Afghan battlefield next year and cede full control to local forces by 2014 a "sign of failure" for the US government.

The hardline group said the agreement signed in Lisbon on Saturday showed that Washington had "failed to get additional military assistance of the NATO member countries" or a commitment to continue operations in the long term.

"It is a good news for Afghans and all freedom-loving people of the world and it is a sign of failure for the American government," it said in an emailed statement.

Venezuela's Chavez alleges $100 million plot to kill him

Would this surprise anyone if its true.

(Reuters) - Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez accused a fugitive TV tycoon on Saturday of being involved in a $100 million reward offer for his assassination.

Idolized by supporters among Venezuela's poor but loathed by many in the business class, former soldier Chavez, 56, has frequently alleged plans to kill him during his more than 11 years at the helm of the South American oil-producer.

"As I understand it from very trustworthy information, they say they have $100 million to give the person who kills me," Chavez said, talking of his political foes in general.

He accused the fugitive boss of pro-opposition TV station Globovision, Guillermo Zuloaga, of being one of those behind the plan. Zuloaga fled to the United States earlier this year after being charged with fraud over his car dealership.

Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) said it had cost just $4,200 to mail two parcel bombs from Yemen to the United States last month. The bombs were intercepted in Britain and Dubai, sparking a worldwide security alert.

"It is such a good bargain for us to spread fear amongst the enemy and keep him on his toes in exchange of a few months of work and a few thousand bucks," AQAP said in its online Inspire magazine, released on militant websites.

"We are laying out for our enemies our plan in advance because as we stated earlier our objective is not maximum kill but to cause (damage) in the aviation industry, an industry that is so vital for trade and transportation between the U.S. and Europe."

Stuxnet may be part of Iran atom woes

Ha Ha ! Iran Having some problems with their Centrifuges ?
Aww , how funny though!

(Reuters) - Iran has been experiencing years of problems with equipment used in its uranium enrichment program and the Stuxnet computer virus may be one of the factors, a former top U.N. nuclear inspections official said.

Olli Heinonen, who stepped down in August as head of the U.N. nuclear watchdog's inspections worldwide, said there may be many reasons for technical glitches that have cut the number of working centrifuges at Iran's Natanz enrichment plant.

"One of the reasons is the basic design of this centrifuge ... this is not that solid," Heinonen, a former deputy director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and now a senior fellow at Harvard University, told Reuters on Friday.

Asked about the Stuxnet virus, he said: "Sure, this could be one of the reasons ... There is no evidence that it was, but there has been quite a lot of malfunctioning centrifuges."

Security experts have said the release of Stuxnet could have been a state-backed attack on Iran's nuclear program, which Tehran says is designed to produce electricity but which Western leaders suspect is a disguised effort to develop nuclear bombs.

White House Defends Ghailani Prosecution Amid Criticism of Terror Policy

White House chief spokesman Robert Gibbs said Thursday that the administration will use "all the tools at our disposal" to try Guantanamo Bay detainees.

Of course they will.
They will try to be nice to them!
They will try to make sure that they are comfortable at all costs!
They will try to make sure that they all Know IF they are convicted, they will be taken care of the rest of their lives.
They will also make sure they can still spread their hatred within our prison system.

Foxnews
The White House is pushing back against criticism of its commitment to prosecuting some terror suspects in civilian courts after a federal jury convicted former Guantanamo Bay detainee Ahmed Ghailani on only one of 285 charges.

Ghailani was convicted of conspiring in Al Qaeda's 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa and faces a sentence of 20 years to life behind bars. The Justice Department has said it will seek the maximum punishment.

White House chief spokesman Robert Gibbs said Thursday that the administration will use "all the tools at our disposal" to try Guantanamo Bay detainees. But Republicans have seized on the Ghailani verdict as an example why all terror suspects should be prosecuted in military commissions.

(Reuters) - A U.N. General Assembly committee Tuesday accused Iran of serious human rights violations in a move that an incensed Iranian delegate said was orchestrated by the United States and its allies.

The resolution on Iran in the General Assembly's human rights committee was sponsored by the United States, European Union, Canada and other Western countries. It received 80 votes in favor -- six more than a similar declaration received last year -- 44 against and 57 abstentions.

The resolution said the assembly "expresses deep concern at serious ongoing human rights violations in the Islamic Republic of Iran." Such violations include torture, flogging, amputations, stoning, and "pervasive gender inequality and violence against women."

China's Internet?

China's growing ability to control and manipulate Internet traffic

This is a big Big Problem!
But it is doubtful anything will be done about it.

Computerworld - A report submitted to Congress on Wednesday by the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission expressed concerns over what the commission claims is China's growing ability to control and manipulate Internet traffic.

The report points to two specific incidents that happened earlier this year where actions taken inside China had a direct impact on Internet traffic in the U.S. and other regions of the world.

In one of the incidents, traffic to and from about 15% of all Internet destinations was routed through servers belonging to China Telecom, a state-owned telecommunications company.

The rerouting happened on April 8 and lasted for about 18 minutes. The traffic hijacking impacted U.S. government and military networks including those belonging to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corp., the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Department of Commerce, NASA and the U.S. Senate.

Commercial sites including those belonging to Microsoft, Dell and Yahoo were also impacted.

He did not speak at his trial. But he had previously discussed, in a 2007 interrogation while being detained at the prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, how he had gotten caught up in what turned out to be a Qaeda plot.

These statements were never presented to the jury, which on Wednesday acquitted Mr. Ghailani of all but one of more than 280 charges of conspiracy and murder. Mr. Ghailani’s lawyers, who argued that their client was duped into helping Al Qaeda, said the statements were coerced, untrustworthy and inadmissible.

China Hackers strike again

It is not so much the fact that once again China has Hacked into the Pentagons websites.
But the fact that this was done back in April.
China does not have the worlds largest super computer for nothing.

Foxnews
Nearly 15 percent of the world's Internet traffic -- including data from the Pentagon, the office of Defense Secretary Robert Gates and other U.S. government websites -- was briefly redirected through computer networks in China last April, according to a congressional commission report obtained by FoxNews.com.

It was not immediately clear whether the incident was deliberate, but the April 18 redirection could have enabled malicious activities and potentially caused an unintended "diversion of data" from many U.S. government, military and commercial websites, the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission states in a 316-page report to Congress.

Religion Offers No Break on Airport Screening, TSA Says

Well that's a relief.

But what are they going to do when all the Muslim women who were told by CAIR that they can refuse all of this and that they can perform their own pat down, go ballistic ?

Awwww to bad, no religious excuse for you.

prepare for extreme Muslim outrage!

Foxnews
WASHINGTON -- The Transportation Security Administration says airline passengers won't get out of body imaging screening or pat-downs based on their religious beliefs.

TSA chief John Pistole told the Senate Homeland Security
Committee on Tuesday that passengers who refuse to go through a full-body scanner machine and reject a pat-down won't be allowed to board, even if they turned down the in-depth screening for religious reasons.

"That person is not going to get on an airplane," Pistole said in response to a question from Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., on whether the TSA would provide exemptions for passengers whose religious beliefs do not allow them to go through a physically revealing body scan or be touched by screeners.

Civil rights groups contend the more intensive screening violates civil liberties including freedom of religion, the right to privacy and the constitutional protection against unreasonable searches.

What about our right to be safe and not terrorized by some idiot hell bent on Jihad ?

What about our right not to be blown up ?

California Woman Charged With Providing Aid to Terrorists in Somalia

It is insane, the amount of people that have been arrested over the past year or so for giving support to Terrorist groups like al-Shabab.

And Organizations like CAIR can't understand why?

Foxnews
A California woman has been charged with providing money and personnel to a terrorist group in Somalia to help carry out killings in the African nation, according to a federal indictment obtained Monday.

Nima Ali Yusuf supported al-Shabab, an Al Qaeda-linked militia trying to create an Islamic state in Somalia, federal prosecutor Sabrina Feve said.

Yusuf was the fourth person charged in the past month in San Diego with helping al-Shabab. Authorities described her as a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.

Yusuf was charged in the indictment with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization and making a false statement to a government

The others charged in San Diego were accused of raising money then routing the funds to the radical Islamist group.

Scientists witness apparent black hole birth

No it's not in Washington D.C.

For the first time, scientists believe they have witnessed the birth of a black hole.

The evidence began arriving 30 years ago from a star 50 million light-years away that had imploded, setting into motion events that created a region where gravity is so great that nothing can escape, even light.

The initial 1979 observation of the exploding star was made by an amateur astronomer from Western Maryland, but the profession's top scientists have studied it intently with increasingly sophisticated orbiting X-ray telescopes.

In announcing the discovery Monday at NASA headquarters, the researchers said that although the information they have collected is consistet with the birth of a baby black hole, they cannot rule out other possibilities. Nonetheless, they spoke enthusiastically about what they are learning and will learn about the evolution of black holes.

Gunmen Kill 5, Wound 9 in Ciudad Juarez Bar

More than 4,000 people have been killed in Ciudad Juarez in drug-related violence in the last two years, giving the city one of the highest murder rates in the world.

Good reason to stay away from Mexico.

Better yet it's a good reason for the Government to defend and protect our border !

But you know, it is not seen as an issue. Move along Sheeple.

Foxnews
CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico -- Gunmen burst into a bar called "Desesperados" in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and opened fire on Sunday, killing five people and wounding nine others, authorities said.

Assailants also killed the state's prisons director and his son in a second attack in the area, which has turned into a deadly battleground for warring drug cartels.

Gunmen opened fire on the vehicle carrying Chihuahua prison director Gerardo Ortiz and his son in Chihuahua city, the state capital, located south of Ciudad Juarez. The state's prisons used to be the site of frequent battles between gangs, but deaths in such disputes had appeared to decline over the last year.

Karzai's remarks concern Petraeus

WTF?

Karzai Wants the U.S. to leave the Taliban Alone ?
Why else would he say this.

I say Predator drone strikes in Afghanistan now.
It's what we need to pick up the pace a little bit and to tell Karzai to STFU, And sit in the corner till it is over.

The Washington Post
Officials said Petraeus expressed "astonishment and disappointment" with Karzai's call, in an interview Saturday with The Washington Post, to "reduce military operations" and end U.S. Special Operations raids in southern Afghanistan that coalition officials said have killed or captured hundreds of Taliban commanders in recent months.

In a meeting Sunday morning with Ashraf Ghani, who leads the Afghan government's planning on transition, Petraeus made what several officials described as "hypothetical" references to an inability to continue U.S. operations in the face of Karzai's remarks.

More than 2 million Pilgrams begin Haj

Well it is the start of the Hajj, The mass pilgrimage of Muslims heading to Mecca.
Following the Supposed footsteps of the one and only pedophile Prophet, Mohammed.
This is the greatest Goal (next to Martyrdom) of many Muslim's in the Religion of peace known as Islam.

How many will be killed this year in their journey to Mecca ?

2006= 345
2004= 251

Looking at this, it seems that it goes in a bit of a cycle, the past couple years excluding deaths from diseases it has not been as bad.

Maybe this year will be different.

(Reuters) - At least 2.5 million Muslims began the annual haj pilgrimage on Sunday, heading to an encampment near the holy city of Mecca to retrace the route taken by the Prophet Mohammad 14 centuries ago.

Traveling on foot, by public transport and in private cars, the pilgrims will stream through a mountain pass to a valley at Mina, some three km (two miles) outside Mecca. The path is the same as the Prophet himself took on his last pilgrimage.

The haj, one of the world's biggest displays of mass religious devotion lasts for five days. In the past it has been marred by fires, hotel collapses, police clashes with protesters and deadly stampedes.

Saudi Interior Minister Prince Nayef said on Wednesday the kingdom could not rule out an attack by Al Qaeda's regional wing, although the kingdom's forces were ready to combat any such operations.

U.S. Drops Hold on Aid to Lebanese Military

Another smart move by the Obama Administration?

Hezbollah will be getting some more funding soon !

Foxnews
WASHINGTON—U.S. lawmakers lifted a congressional hold on $100 million in military assistance for Lebanon's armed forces, as the Obama administration moved to bolster Beirut's pro-Western government.

In recent weeks, the militant Lebanese organization, Hezbollah, has issued increasing threats against Prime Minister Saad Hariri amid reports that a United Nations-backed court is preparing to indict Hezbollah members for the 2005 murder of Mr. Hariri's father, former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Washington has provided Lebanon's military with an estimated $720 million in aid since 2006 in an effort to develop the institution as a counterweight to Hezbollah, which receives its arms and funding from Iran and Syria, and has grown as a political force with seats in the Lebanese government.

"We reviewed our assistance to Lebanon and concluded that it is vital, given ongoing challenges to the Lebanese state from Hezbollah and others," State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said Friday.

Mexico hunting 12-year-old drug gang hitman

A Twelve year old !
The Mexican cartels are truly ruthless, $3000 to off somebody ?

The AA (Artist Assassins) are a group of young kids that go around and not only point people out to the Cartels, but they also perform hits.

It's a messed up world.

(Reuters) - Soldiers are hunting a 12-year-old suspected drug gang hitman accused of helping wage a gruesome turf war in central Mexico, a state prosecutor and Mexican media said on Friday.

The boy, known only as "El Ponchis," is believed to be working for the South Pacific cartel in Morelos state, outside Mexico City, and is one of a group of young teenagers who have already committed "terrible acts," Morelos State Prosecutor Pedro Luis Benitez told local radio.

"These minors are still not fully developed and so it is easy to influence them, to give them a gun, pretending it is plastic, that it is a game."

Benitez did not name the boy or give more details, but when asked directly about the teenage hitmen he said: "They're persuaded to carry out terrible acts; they don't realize what they are doing," he added.

Mexican daily La Razon said the boy is being paid $3,000 for each murder and is under the command of a little-known drug lord who heads the South Pacific cartel fighting the Beltran Leyva and La Familia gangs for control in southwestern Mexico.

Benitez said soldiers this week arrested a teenage boy and a pregnant teenage girl also believed to be working for the South Pacific cartel.

Nuclear information safe with us, IAEA tells Iran

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was quoted earlier this week as saying the IAEA would pass on information about Iran's nuclear program to the United States if Tehran agreed to widen the agency's inspection powers in the country.

Mahmoud, you do not have to worry about that.
We already know you want nukes, It is nothing new.
The IAEA will do what ever it can to hide any Information it finds at your nuke sites

Also We already Know about Nuclear Technology, we have been using it for Decades.
So when you say that you worry about the IAEA passing on information, it could only mean that you are Hiding something.

(Reuters) - The U.N. nuclear watchdog said on Friday it protects the confidentiality of information gathered during inspections, indirectly rejecting an Iranian accusation it would feed sensitive information to Washington.

Relations between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have become increasingly strained over the last year, with the Vienna-based agency voicing frustration over what it says is lack of Iranian cooperation with its inspectors.

Veterans Day.

Decision Near on Site of Terrorism Trial

Oh Man , I can't wait ! Where are they going to hold the Trial ?

Most likely wherever the Obama Administration decides to hold these trials, it will be very unpopular.

Just think, this could probably all be over with if they just held the trials at Club Gitmo.
But this is America, we just can't do something that easy.

The New York Times
Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said Wednesday that the Obama administration was “close to a decision” on a trial for Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and four other men accused of planning the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Mr. Holder’s remark to reporters prompted both Senator Charles E. Schumer, Democrat of New York, and Representative Peter T. King, Republican of New York, to repeat their opposition to a 9/11 trial anywhere in New York State.

Joke of the Day .

TEHRAN, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said the Islamic Republic and Turkey have potentials to be forerunners of international nuclear disarmament, the local English language satellite Press TV reported on Thursday.

"Iran and Turkey can be flag-bearers of nuclear disarmament in the globe to establish a world free from nuclear weapons," Mottaki said in a meeting with head of Turkish Parliament's Commission for Foreign Relations Murad Marjan in Tehran on Wednesday.

As part of this European stockpiling, Turkey, which is a partner of the US-led coalition against Iran along with Israel, possesses some 90 thermonuclear B61 bunker buster bombs at the Incirlik nuclear air base. (National Resources Defense Council, Nuclear Weapons in Europe , February 2005)

'Four Lions' Film Tries to Prove Terrorists Can Be Funny

A Funny Terrorist movie?

Foxnews
Terrorism is certainly not a light nor a laughable issue, but that doesn't mean you can't make a comedy about it.

At least that's what British filmmaker Chris Morris hopes.

He has created four fictitious jihadists for the big screen in the uber-black, slapstick comedy “Four Lions,” centered on their idiotic attempts to execute an attack.

Among the antics, the buffoons pathetically attempt to make bombs, convince a dim-witted neighbor they are a band, sing “Toploader” on their mission, and struggle to string together a sentence without cracking up during the making of their martyrdom videos.

While Morris managed to take the sensitive issue of “homegrown terrorists” and make it shockingly farcical and funny, he never actually set out to court controversy, but rather to portray the ridiculousness embedded in the world of extremism.

“I was reading about a serious subject, but kept finding things that were very silly. For example, there were some guys in Yemen that wanted to blow up a U.S. warship with an exploding boat; they got to the quayside at 3 in the morning. They put their launch in the water and filled it with explosives and it sank," Morris told Pop Tarts. “Then there were these Canadians that wanted to assassinate the Canadian Prime Minister, but forgot his name.”

Mystery Solved? Missile Launch Could Be a Jet Contrail

Sorry I'm not buying that one !

Not being an expert on Missiles or Anything, But I did spend Two years working at the Fort Bliss Army base in Texas/New Mexico.
I personally witnessed Patriot Missile Launches(From a distance)along with several other Missiles that are tested on their Firing ranges !
This was nothing but a Missile, Jet's do not leave a Contrail, and they don't make Vertical Takeoffs.
go Here and check out the Video Yourself.

Foxnews
A video that appears to show a missile launch off the coast of California is so far "unexplained" by anyone in the military, a Pentagon spokesman told reporters Tuesday -- but what seems mysterious could be nothing more than an airplane.

Federal officials do not consider the event a threat. And they aren't the only ones.

According to a post on ContrailScience.com, the visible exhaust from a jet engine, a trail of condensed water vapor called a contrail, resembles a missile trail when seen from some angles.

The confusion between a missile launch and a jet plane launch is caused by several common misconceptions, the site notes, explaining that the angle of launch, the direction of flight, and even the shape of the Earth can lead to the illusion. And indeed, when you look at certain images of jet launches, they do look a fair bit like missiles.

Oklahoma's Ban on Shariah Law Blocked

Opponents argued that the measure was unnecessary because state judges have no reason to rely on Islamic law. Most of the state’s newspapers opposed the measure.

Hmmm, Well Muslims would not let a non Muslim, Unversed in Sharia Law, sit as a judge in A sharia Case ! A sharia Law Court would be set up specifically for the Implementation of Sharia.
The problem would be then, that there would be two different court systems within the U.S. One for regular people and the other for Muslims!

"Today's ruling is a reminder of the strength of our nation's legal system and the protections it grants to religious minorities," said Muneer Awad, executive director of Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Oklahoma, who filed the suit last Thursday, claiming the law violated his constitutional rights.

Constitutional Rights? Well Mr. aWAD , if you were ever to step foot in a courtroom within the United States, you would be given the same rights as everyone else.
the premise that your constitutional rights are being Violated are unfounded. We do not rule or judge under Sharia law, we rule and Judge under American Law!

If you do not like it get out of the U.S. ! Go to the Muslim Country of your Choice ! Be ruled under your Sharia Law there !

A popular new law that bars Oklahoma courts from considering Islamic law, or Shariah, when deciding cases was put on hold Monday after a prominent Muslim in the state won a temporary restraining order in federal court.

Two state legislators were quick to blast the judge's ruling and the Oklahoma attorney general, who they said did not stand up to support the new law.

U.S. District Court Judge Vicki Miles-LeGrange ruled that the measure, which passed by a large margin in last Tuesday's elections, would be suspended until a hearing on Nov. 22, when she will listen to arguments on whether the court's temporary injunction should become permanent.

"We are humbled by this opportunity to show our fellow Oklahomans that Muslims are their neighbors and that we are committed to upholding the U.S. Constitution and promoting the benefits of a pluralistic society," Awad said.

Incoming small town Mexico mayor kidnapped, killed

Nice, you cant even be a mayor elect in Mexico.

This is like the 6th or 7th Mayor killed in the past couple months.

(Reuters) - A mayor-elect from the Mexican state of Veracruz was kidnapped and killed along with two companions on Monday, local media reported.

The reports did not link the killings to the violence sweeping Mexico as the government fights powerful drug cartels. Several mayors and other elected officials have been targeted by drug gangs in recent months.

Gregorio Barradas Miravete, the mayor-elect from the municipality of Juan Rodriguez Clara, was a member of President Felipe Calderon's National Action Party.

Awlaki Video Urges Muslims to Kill Americans

Alright, so Awlaki says he wants Muslims around the world to Kill Americans !

Fair enough !

So I would expect all Americans to be Vigilant with this one.

And to Awlaki and his little bitches in Al Qaida, we in America have more guns than you jackass's, and you all just told us to be prepared for you !

I would suggest you derelicts watch your Backs !

New York Times
BEIRUT, Lebanon — The radical, American-born cleric, Anwar al-Awlaki, called for Muslims around the world to kill Americans and overthrow Arab leaders in a video posted Monday on the Internet.

Mr. Awlaki, who is now thought to be hiding in southern Yemen, has called for violence against Americans before, and his sermons appear to have played a role in a number of terrorist plots. American officials believe he plays an active part in Al Qaeda’s regional branch, which took credit on Friday for the attempt late last month to send explosives by courier to the United States.

In the new 23-minute video, Mr. Awlaki appears at a desk wearing traditional Yemeni garb, including a ceremonial dagger, and says, speaking in Arabic, that no special clerical ruling is required to kill Americans.

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico -- At least 20 people were killed in drug-gang violence over the weekend in this northern Mexican border city, including seven found dead outside one house.

Five were found dead in a car, and the other two were shot at the entrance of the home.

There have been several such massacres in Ciudad Juarez, a city held hostage by a nearly three-year turf battle between the Juarez and Sinaloa cartels.

Yemen is under pressure from Washington to crush a wing of al Qaeda, but also faces intermittent revolt by Shi'ites in the north and a secessionist movement in the south.

Hundreds of residents in Weston, Mo. -- as well as people as far away as California and Australia -- rallied in support of Sgt. First Class C.J. Sadell, who died from injuries suffered during a surprise attack in Afghanistan.

The residents sought to block Fred Phelps, leader of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kan., and his followers from picketing Sadell’s funeral, according to the station.

"We got everybody here early so we could take up all the parking spots," Rebecca Rooney of Weston, Mo., told Fox4kc.com. "We did that so Mr. Phelps wouldn't have a contingency that was really close."

U.N. Human Rights Council to Take Aim at New Target: United States

So what do you all think?

The U.S. will most definitely be bashed by Iran and Venezuela.
But what about the rest of the Ying Yang's.
Obama may regret trying to spoon with leaders of the Muslim and Communist countries.

Foxnews
When the United Nations Human Rights Council, a conclave of 47 nations that includes such notorious human rights violators as China, Cuba, Libya and Saudi Arabia, meets in Geneva on Friday, its attentions will be focused on the human rights failings of a country called the United States.

It will hear, among other things, that the U.S. discriminates against Muslims, that its police are barbaric and that it has been holding political prisoners behind bars for years.

Those allegations, and many more, will come from Americans themselves — especially from a stridently critical network of U.S. organizations whose input dominates the U.N. digest of submissions from “civil society” that are part of the council’s background reading.

Will the occasion be a teachable moment, or an anti-American circus?

That question will be hovering center-stage in Geneva, when, for the first time ever, the U.S. comes under the Human Rights Council’s microscope as part of the its centerpiece activity, the “Universal Periodic Review,” a rotating examination of the human rights failings and strong points of every country in the world, from North Korea to Norway, by the council's members.

For two hours, council members will get to say whatever they wish, good and ill, about the country that has done the most in the past 40 years to establish human rights as a global theme.

Muslim Sues Oklahoma Over Anti-Shariah Ballot Measure

Oklahoma residents approved the measure with 70 percent of the vote in Tuesday's election.

70 percent! That is a pretty heavy Majority, isn't that supposed to stand for something?
Not when it comes to Islam and that Terrorist supporting Organization CAIR.

Foxnews
Just two days after Oklahoma voters approved a ballot measure banning state courts from considering Islamic or international law when ruling on cases, a local Muslim has filed a federal lawsuit saying the measure is unconstitutional.

The lawsuit against ballot measure, State Question 755 – or better known as "Save Our State" -- seeks a temporary restraining order to block the results of the election from being certified by the state Election Board on Nov. 9. The measure is scheduled to go into effect on Jan. 1.

Oklahoma residents approved the measure with 70 percent of the vote in Tuesday's election.

But Muneer Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Oklahoma who filed the lawsuit, said that the measure is unnecessary because there is no threat of an Islamic takeover of state courts. Muslims make up only 30,000 of the state's nearly 4 million residents – less than 1 percent.

Obama's India trip stirs fears in Pakistan about power balance

Amazing,

Although the Obama administration recently proposed a new $2 billion aid package for the Pakistani army and last year signed off on a $7.5 billion civilian aid deal, government officials here said this week that the United States has yet to prove itself a reliable partner.

So 10.5 Billion over two years is just not enough for Pakistan !

We give and give and all we get is told we have not proven our commitment?

And on top of this we gave $378 million in flood relief, more than any other country so far.

The Washington Post
ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN - President Obama's decision to spend three days in India beginning Saturday, while bypassing Pakistan, has sparked anxiety among government officials here who warn that Obama risks upsetting the delicate balance of power between the nuclear-armed neighbors.

Among the Pakistanis' chief concerns are the Obama administration's apparent unwillingness to get involved in the long-standing dispute over Kashmir; the blossoming U.S.-India civil nuclear partnership; and the symbolism of Obama starting his visit at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai, site of the 2008 siege that killed 173 people and that has been blamed on Pakistani militants.

U.S. joins Yemeni anti-terrorism units to hunt Saudi bomb maker

Maybe something is going on?

Good luck with this though, I think it will be very difficult to do anything in Yemen that will put Al Qaida or any of it's members in harms way !

But you have to start somewhere.

Xinhaunet.com
SANAA, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- A U.S. team of anti-terrorism experts joined Yemeni anti-terrorism units on Tuesday in a mission to hunt down the suspect behind sending two bomb shipments to the United States last week, a Yemeni official of anti-terror units told Xinhua.

The U.S. team arrived late Monday to help Yemeni counter- terrorism forces to capture the suspect of parcel bombs, who is believed to be a Saudi national bomb maker identified as Ibrahim al-Asiri.

"The mission was also designed to capture the U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was put on hit list by Washington and was trailed earlier Tuesday in absentia by a Yemeni security court in Sanaa for links to terrorist crimes," the official told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

"The joint mission will be carried out in eastern and southern provinces of Marib and Shabwa, in which U.S. unmanned predators and agents with CIA in the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa will take part," he added.

Canada bans air cargo from Yemen

And as it Should Be !

Is it just me or is everybody else wondering when Somebody, ANYBODY , is going to really show some balls in all of this ?

Canada has banned all air cargo originating from Yemen in the wake of last week's discovery of explosive material on flights bound for the United States.

The ban was not instituted based on intelligence specific to Canada, said Transport Minister Chuck Strahl. It is instead an interim measure to keep people safe while the government decides what further steps might be necessary, he said.

Earlier Monday, Germany suspended all passenger flights from Yemen until further notice. It had previously banned all cargo flights from the country after it was determined that one of the packages was routed to London through the UPS hub in Cologne.

Britain has banned all unaccompanied freight packages from Yemen and Somalia, and barred all passengers from transporting toner cartridges larger than 500 grams in their carry-on luggage as of Monday night.
