It is about time, Iraq needs to stand on its own(which it won't) we do need to get out of one of the worlds shitholes.
Things could have been different if this administration and the liberal ass monkeys on the left would have backed the efforts of taking out terrorism instead of blindly supporting it.
So goodbye to Iraq, I for one hope you can stand up for democracy, but watching the world of Islam and seeing how things work; You will fail, and you will embrace the evils of terrorism once more.

President Obama announced Friday that the last U.S. soldier would leave Iraq by the end of this year, drawing to a close a divisive eight-year war that cost the lives of 4,478 troops and defined the presidency of George W. Bush.
The decision leaves only a vestigial presence of Marine embassy guards and liaison officers staying on where more than a million troops, in all, have served. The was has cost more than $1 trillion.

Report Shows Terror Recruitment in U.S. Still a Problem
Rep Peter King is the Man.
He is taking no shit from anyone about these hearings, he just keeps pushing forward despite the B.S. from the Left and the MSM.
A clueless Rep Bennie Thompson says Shabaab is an issue, he downplays its importance and says other types of terror should be focused on as well.
"The threat of Al Shabaab radicalizing young Americans is a problem we can constructively address," Thompson said in a statement before the hearing. "Today marks the third time that this committee has taken up alleged links between terrorism and the American Muslim community. Before these hearings began, I requested that their focus be broadened to include a look at the real and present threat of domestic violent extremism. Those requests were rebuffed."
If Al Shabab recruits from the U.S. and takes these guys under their wings in Somalia only to return them when their training is done... would that not be a real and present threat of Domestic Violent Extremism ?
Call me Stupid, but I think it is.

A new report released by Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee shows there's still a threat of Americans being recruited by Somali terror group and Al Qaeda ally Al Shabaab for the purpose of carrying out attacks in the U.S.
Committee chairman Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y. held a hearing Wednesday on Al Shabaab recruiting in America. It was the third in a series of controversial "Muslim radicalization" hearings King has called.
"The key finding is that there is a looming danger of American Shabaab fighters returning to the U.S. to strike or helping Al Qaeda and its affiliates attack the homeland," the report reads. "U.S. intelligence underestimated the Pakistani Taliban and Al Qaeda in Yemen's capability of launching attacks here; we cannot afford to make the same mistake with Shabaab."
The report says at least 40 Americans have joined the terror group and 15 have been killed fighting for them. It also says 21 American Shabaab members are unaccounted for and that they pose a threat to U.S. security.
Many Democrats have bemoaned King's series of radicalization hearings, and while the ranking member of the committee Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., says Shabaab is an issue, he downplays its importance and says other types of terror should be focused on as well.

Norway's 21-Year Maximum Penalty Sparks Outcry After Terror Attacks That Killed 76
"People like that shouldn't be able to get out among normal people,"

Correct, and this is why he should just be eliminated from the living.

Friday's twin attacks in Norway that killed 76 people have sparked growing outcry at the country's penal code, under which even the man now accused in the mass killings would face a maximum penalty of only 21 years in prison if convicted.
If found guilty in the massacre and given that maximum sentence, Anders Behrin Breivik, 32, would serve roughly 100 days in prison per killing.
"So many innocent people have been killed that I think he doesn't have the right to live," Mari Kaugerud wrote on her Facebook group "Yes to the death penalty for Anders Behring Breivik," which already has 1,783 members, the AFP reports.
Dozens of similar groups have sprung up since Friday's killings, some calling for the death penalty, others for life in prison.

Norway Prepares for Court Appearance by Suspect in Attacks
Anders Breivik, Douchebag extraordinare.
This guy is so stuck on himself it is ridiculous, he would like to wear a uniform at his hearing that he wants to be public, he copied the Unabombers manifesto as his own and added some major drivel over the top of it, He believes he is the Ultimate religious warrior - a Knight.
Unfortunately Norway does not have a death penalty, so this waste of a human being will be able to sit out the rest of his life in prison.
Lets hope Norway is at least smart enough to keep this whole trial out of the spotlot so as not to give Anders his soap box.

But he rejects “criminal responsibility.” Mr. Lippestad said that Mr. Breivik insists that he acted alone, and alone wrote a mammoth manifesto — rambling from a hostile historical look at Islam to recipes (and price lists) for bomb manufacture to his family’s pressure on him to date...
According to his lawyer, Mr. Breivik has requested to appear in some kind of a uniform during the hearing — the exact kind was not known — apparently seeking a global platform for his right-wing views.
Mr. Breivik also clearly wants to leave a legacy and thinks he will create some kind of mass following, said Tore Bjorgo, one of Norway’s most respected scholars of right-wing extremism. “He had this strange idea that he will provoke a mass following, despite the violence, which is why I put it in a Christian frame,” said Mr. Bjorgo, a professor at the Norwegian Police University College.

Rash of bomb scares is keeping Detroit squad busy
A new trend in Detroit? I have noticed there have been an increase in reports of suspicious pakages, and bombs lately, NOT in Detroit because you would not want the people around here to Know!
You might as well keep people in the dark over something like this.

The Detroit Police Bomb Squad has been called out about 25 times since the beginning of the year -- compared with about eight by this time last year, said Inspector Don Johnson Jr., who is in charge of homeland security, which oversees the bomb squad.
Sometimes, investigations reveal there was no threat. But increasingly, the squad -- which also assists other communities in the region -- is discovering explosive or incendiary materials when it has to render a suspicious device or object safe, Johnson said.

Tripoli, Libya (CNN) -- Two towns in eastern Libyan were bombed for a second day Thursday, witnesses said, hours after the government denounced reports of attacks on protesters and military facilities.
Two bombs were dropped on military camps in Ajdabiya, a tribal leader said. Another bomb fell in al-Brega between the oil facility and the airport Thursday, but there were no injuries or damage, witnesses said.
The attacks come a day after ground and air attacks on al-Brega, which has key oil and natural gas facilities.
On Wednesday, aircraft dropped bombs near the town and troops loyal to Moammar Gadhafi launched a ground attack, witnesses said. Aircraft also bombed military camps on the outskirts of Ajdabiya on the same day, witnesses said. ....

Toll in Ivory Coast rises to 247 dead
"This isn't possible. We are against all forms of violence," Gbagbo's government spokesman Ahoua Don Mello said by telephone. "Our forces are professional. They are there to keep order."

Knowing that the U.N. is not truthful, and likes to hide the reality of any situation they are in;I'm sure this death toll is much Higher.

The latest figure includes four civilians and seven police killed in clashes in the Abidjan suburb of Abobo this week, and was firmly denied by the camp of incumbent Laurent Gbagbo.

Pakistan sets another Bad Guy Free
One day,some one in charge of this whole mess that is the Global war on Terrorism, will realize that Pakistan is just not on the same page as we are.
It is Mindnumbing when you think about the cluelessness of those in Charge.
Same situation with Mexico, they will have you believe it is a safe country.
with Pakistan, the worse they get, the more they side with terrorists;the more money we send them. After this expect to see the U.S. Give Pakistan a Buttload of Money.

And today, Qari Saifullah Akhtar is free.
Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, the top judicial official in Akhtar's native Punjab province, told The Associated Press he was released from four months of house arrest in early December because authorities finished questioning him in connection with the October 2007 attempted assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and found no grounds to charge him. Bhutto was killed in December the same year.
However, one U.S. official said Akhtar has extensive ties to al-Qaida and other terrorist groups and is someone who should not be free to walk around the streets of Pakistan or any other country. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
Former U.S. intelligence officials and analysts said Akhtar's release is yet another sign of Pakistan's reluctance or inability to crack down on the most dangerous terrorist organizations.

UK police arrest 12 men in counter-terrorism raids
