Cuba would hurt if Chávez is replaced

So are we supposed to feel bad?
If any jackass ever deserved to die a slow painful death by cancer it is Hugo Chavez
and if Cuba suffers because of it, maybe they will wake up and be a normal country.

Enjoy your Communism Bitches.

The Miami Herald

Cuba would plunge swiftly into chaos if Venezuela’s ailing President Hugo http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifChávez is replaced by someone less willing to subsidize Havana to the tune of $3.5 billion this year, analysts said Friday.

Havana already is divided between older leaders determined to maintain a friendly regime in Caracas at all costs, they added, and others who view Chávez’ subsidies as disincentives to the profound economic reforms that Cuba desperately needs.

Chávez, who has been Cuba’s top ally and benefactor for nearly a decade and considers Fidel Castro as his top political mentor, announced from a Havana hospital Thursday that he has cancer, sparking immediate speculation about his and Venezuela’s political future.

A charismatic populist, he has no clear successor as head of the “21st Century socialism” also embraced in Bolivia and Nicaragua — and plenty of opponents ready to challenge his 12-year grip on power in presidential elections scheduled for next year.

Promised economic reforms get under way in communist Cuba; 500,000 state workers to lose jobs

HA HA !

Well there you go , another communist country going bust .

Poor Fidel what is he to do ?

Oh well lay off 500,000 workers yeah that will do the trick .

Just a thought though , do you think that Obama and his Assclowns that subscribe to his socialist views will take notice ? or do you think they will just try to come up with a slightly different tactic to still support Communist/socialist views ?

And what are the Hollywood elite to do about their beloved Comrade and his communist country ? I smell a Fundraiser or a Charity being born !

HAVANA – HAVANA (AP) — The big economic changes Cuba's communist leaders have been promising for years appear finally to be happening in earnest — and they will be hard.

Cuba on Monday said it is laying off nearly half a million workers, an eye-popping figure in any country, but especially in a nation where the government so totally dominates the economy.

The shift would mean that one-tenth of the island's 5.1 million-strong work force will be looking for jobs in the private sector by April 2011, a drastic change that could mean a radically altered economic outlook, especially for Cubans in their 20s and 30s who have known nothing but a paternalistic communist system ushered in by Fidel Castro in his 1959 revolution.

One has Nukes , One is developing Nukes and the third (Palestine) , if they had them , they would have already used them on Israel !

But yeah , We are the Bad Guys , Us and those Filthy Jooooooooss Again !

(Reuters) - Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro took his warning of impending nuclear war to Cuba's Foreign Ministry on Friday, where he explained the reasons for his dire prediction in his fifth public appearance in 10 days.

Castro's sudden re-emergence after four years in seclusion for health reasons has raised questions about his intentions, but his message has been consistent -- a devastating war is at hand if the United States, in alliance with Israel, tries to enforce international sanctions against Iran for its nuclear activities.

He also has predicted the United States will attack North Korea.

"The United States finds itself now in an unsolvable dilemma (in the Middle East). It cannot get out, nor can it stay," Castro told 115 ambassadors, who listened with rapt attention.

"It won't get out of that situation through diplomacy, but through the power of its arms," he said, pointing his finger in the air and pontificating at length as in the old days.

That's right old man , We like to kick the shit out of the enemy !

Castro, 83, spoke for more than an hour as he sat in front of the ambassadors. He looked fit, relaxed and fully in charge as he took questions and read numerous news reports to back up his position.
