Taliban announce spring offensive

Yeah,Yeah,Yeah, We hear you!
Do the Taliban ever go off the offensive?

I truly hope they are more visible this year, instead of sending out one lone reject to splode himself up only to make it sound like 500 Taliban pulled something off.

Please Taliban show yourselves this year, quit sploding up places where only innocent people live, your not teaching us a lesson by doing that!

Come out and fight, quit being such pussies.

BBC
The Taliban have announced the start of a spring offensive across Afghanistan.

In a statement, the group said the fighting would start on Sunday, targeting foreign troops as well as Afghan security forces and officials.

It warned civilians to stay away from public gatherings, military bases, government buildings and convoys.

Saturday's statement by the Taliban said the group would attack "foreign invading forces, members of their spy networks and other spies, high-ranking officials of the Kabul puppet administration".

It said the war would continue "until the foreign invading forces pull out of Afghanistan"

No problem Taliban, we will leave; as soon as all of you are Dead!

Superman Renounces His U.S. Citizenship

"Superman has always been bigger than the United States. In an age rife with immigration paranoia, it’s refreshing to see an alien refugee tell the United States that it’s as important to him as any other country on Earth -- which, in turn, is as important to Superman as any other planet in the multiverse,"

Yeah but does he have to denounce his Citizenship to do it or are the writers of Superman just a bunch of liberal ass clowns that are slightley Anti American And pro Illegal Immigration?

If this is the Case and we are gonna see another American Super Hero torn down Because of Ignorant political correctness, Then Superman can Get the F out with the rest of the Bunch.

This is the country Immigrants strive to come too, that does not mean you have to hate America to do it! Try being a part of the country you wish to live in, try getting along like normal people, it is O.K. to be proud of where you come from but you should also be proud of where you choose to Live!

Foxnews
Superman is no longer an American.

In Action Comics’ new record-breaking 900th issue, the iconic super hero renounces his U.S citizenship following a clash with the federal government.

The Man of Steel, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1938, has always been recognized as a devoted American warrior who constantly fought evil, but as of Thursday, he is no longer the country's own to claim.

"I intend to speak before the United Nations tomorrow and inform them that I am renouncing my U.S. citizenship," he says in a cell in the issue. "I'm tired of having my actions construed as instruments of U.S. policy."

Superman even questions his longtime motto: "Truth, justice and the American way."

Man Beheads Girlfriend in Front of Classmates at Indian University

O.K. so no one will let us be in love and be married, so I kill you!

A modern day version of Romeo And Juliet?

Foxnews
RANCHI, India -- An engineering student was in police custody Thursday after allegedly slicing his girlfriend's head off with a ceremonial dagger in front of her classmates at an Indian university.

Bijendra Kumar, 23, a diploma student at St. Xavier's College in Ranchi, in eastern India, allegedly beheaded his 18-year-old girlfriend, Khushbu, with a blade known as a "khukri" as she left the classroom with her friends.

The Hindustan Times reported that Kumar was overpowered by students and security guards, beaten and then arrested by police after the attack Wednesday.

Authorities said Khushbu's head was sliced off in the attack. Kumar later told police that he loved his girlfriend and wanted to kill her and himself because her parents would not let them marry.

Kumar's mother, Yamini Devi, was distraught when told of the incident.

"We came to know about his affair with Khushbu two months ago when she ran away from her house and came ... to marry my son," she said. Khushbu's uncle then intervened and beat Kumar for inciting his niece to elope.

"We were in love for the last five years, but our parents did not allow us to unite, so we decided to die together. After killing her, I was about to kill myself when they caught me," Kumar was quoted as saying by the newspaper.

Wal-Mart to bring back guns to hundreds of US stores

Wal-mart has been selling guns where I live (Michigan) but not everywhere here.
Down in the city they have not sold them for years, hell you could not even buy a damn air rifle in one a while back.
Slumping sales as an excuse? More like supply and demand, they are losing money by not selling guns; and losing customers.

Wait for the freaks, they will come out over this; you know, the ones who hate Wal-mart no matter what.

BBC
Wal-Mart has said it will soon bring back the sale of firearms, including rifles and shotguns, at more than 500 of its US stores.

The retail giant stopped selling guns at hundreds of its 3,600 US stores in 2006, citing slumping consumer demand.

But a spokesman said guns would return to the shelves as "part of the overall push to bring 8,000 products back".

Thursday's news comes two months after Wal-Mart announced a seventh straight quarterly decline in US sales.

Royal wedding: Three held over effigy beheading claims

You almost wish these douchebags were able to pull something off like this,to show the world what a bunch of ignorant rejects they are!

BBC
Three people believed to be planning to behead effigies at the royal wedding have been arrested in London.

Two men, aged 68 and 45, and a woman, 68, were detained by police in Brockley, on Thursday night.

It is understood a guillotine was seized during the incident in Wickham Road. The suspects are being held at a south London police station.

The Met say they are held on "suspicion of conspiracy to cause a public nuisance and breach of the peace".

"It is believed that those arrested were planning to attend the royal wedding," a spokesman said.

Police had warned earlier that officers would carry out pre-emptive operations to combat potential trouble on the royal wedding day.

The latest arrests came after three raids at suspected London squats, leading to 19 arrests, on Thursday.

Moroccan cafe bombing deemed 'act of terrorism'

Oh you don't say!
One day people will wake up and understand every incident that occurs of this Kind, regardless of who does it; IT IS TERRORISM!

Casablanca, Morocco (CNN) -- A series of explosions that killed 15 people when they erupted Thursday morning in a cafe in the city of Marrakech was an act of terrorism, Morocco's interior minister said.

"We will investigate this act of terrorism and find those responsible ... and their nationality," Taib Cherqaoui told reporters about the attack, in which at least 22 others were wounded. "We condemn it as a criminal act."

In an address on state-run television, Cherqaoui and King Mohamed VI said the fatalities included six French nationals, five Moroccans, and four others whose nationalities were not divulged. CNN has learned that, of the four remaining fatalities, two were Russian and one was British.

Fuelled 'by Viagra', Gaddafi's troops use rape as a weapon of war with children as young as EIGHT among the victims

This is not confirmed, but it would not surprise me one bit!
Islam is Known for its advocacy of Pedophilia, Mohamhead himself was a Pedophile!

The Bitches are using Viagra to get it up to Rape little girls, If it were little boys (or goats) it would not be needed!

Disgusting to say the least but you won't ever hear it in the MSM! You know you can't make Islam look Bad !

Mailonline
Children as young as eight are being raped in front of their families by Gaddafi's forces in Libya, according to a leading charity.

Aid workers described horrific stories of widespread sexual abuse, including one incident in which a group of girls was abducted and held hostage for four days.

When they were finally released, they were too traumatised to speak.

Other children have described being forced to watch as their fathers were murdered and their mothers raped.

They told Save The Children that they themselves were then brually beaten before being released.

Harrowing stories of sexual assaults against women and children have emerged from those who have fled the besieged cities of Misrata, Ajdabia and Rus-Lanuf.

United Nations fails to unite on Syria violence

Syria: Baath party officials 'quit in protest'

Now they resign, what a joke.
Just a ploy to the world to try and save the war crimes accusations.

Just another day in the Muslim world, The few that are in power are ordering the Killing of the Many who are clueless to everything and have done nothing until it was too late.

Islam...the religion of peace!

BBC
Some 200 members of Syria's ruling Baath party are reported to have resigned over the violent crackdown against pro-democracy demonstrations.

The resignations were centred on the southern city of Deraa, a focal point of violence that has allegedly killed 450 people in six weeks.

Shooting was heard in Deraa overnight, where the government this week sent tanks and troops to regain control.

Meanwhile, the UN failed to agree on a statement condemning the crackdown.

(Speaking of jokes, how hard is it to say that you condemn the actions of the Syrian Government?)

A draft proposed by France, Britain, Germany and Portugal was opposed by several within the 15-member Security Council, with Russia insisting events in Syria were not a threat to international peace.

(So let the Syrian Government keep killing!)

President Bashar al-Assad's government disputes the Western view that the demonstrations have been non-violent.

In a statement carried by the official news agency, it said it had sent troops to several cities on the request of citizens who were worried about "armed extremists". Opposition leaders say the protests are peaceful.

Pakistan: Karachi bomb strikes naval bus

The Taliban retaliates with another bus bombing, what did they retaliate against?

who knows, they are Muslims and that means it could be damn near anything, they feel they are wrongly being targeted, they think that there is no reason for the Pakistani Government to hunt them down and either kill or arrest them!

You know cause they are such nice people, I mean look what they do for the education system! just on Womens rights alone you should love them!

If everyone in Pakistan would just understand that they are in control, and you should bow down to their every whim, they would not have to go around killing everyone!

BBC
Suspected militants have killed at least five people in a bomb attack on a navy bus in the port city of Karachi.

Four of those who died in the roadside bombing were navy personnel. The fifth was a passing motorcyclist, officials said. Several others were wounded.

It is the third such attack this week. Four people died when two navy buses were bombed on Tuesday.

Karachi is the main base for Pakistan's navy. Militants have carried out many attacks in the city in the past.

Recent attacks in the city are being seen as retaliation for an offensive against the Pakistani Taliban and their allies in the north-west of the country.

Pakistan Urges Afghan Leader to Dump U.S.

Pakistan denies reports of efforts to split US, Afghanistan

Both on the same story, both have the same picture!
But one of these is not like the other

At Fox news...

Pakistan is lobbying Afghanistan's president against building a long-term strategic partnership with the U.S., urging him instead to look to Pakistan-and its Chinese ally-for help in striking a peace deal with the Taliban and rebuilding the economy, Afghan officials say.

The pitch was made at an April 16 meeting in Kabul by Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, who bluntly told Afghan President Hamid Karzai that the Americans had failed them both, according to Afghans familiar with the meeting. Mr. Karzai should forget about allowing a long-term U.S. military presence in his country, Mr. Gilani said, according to the Afghans. Pakistan's bid to cut the U.S. out of Afghanistan's future is the clearest sign to date that, as the nearly 10-year war's endgame begins, tensions between Washington and Islamabad threaten to scuttle America's prospects of ending the conflict on its own terms.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan denied media reports on Wednesday that it was lobbying Afghanistan to drop its alliance with Washington and look to Islamabad and Beijing to forge a peace deal with the Taliban and rebuild its economy.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani “bluntly” told Afghan President Hamid Karzai to “forget about allowing a long-term US military presence in his country”, according to Afghans present at an April 16 meeting between the two men.

“Reports claiming Gilani-Karzai discussion abt Pakistan advising alignment away fm US are inaccurate,” Pakistan’s ambassador in Washington, Hussain Haqqani, wrote on his Twitter feed.

Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Tehmina Janjua told Reuters: “It is the most ridiculous report we have come across.”

The Journal reported that Pakistan’s apparent bid to separate Afghanistan from the United States is a clear sign that tensions between Washington and Islamabad could threaten attempts to end the war in Afghanistan on favorable terms for the West.

PlayStation data theft hits 70m gamers

What a bitch, now you gotta whatch what you do playing videogames.

Don't know if it has anything to do with this, but Anonymous was supposedly attacking Sony for something semi related to Wikileaks! I don't think they get into Identity theft or Credit card theft but who knows, someone within their ranks maybe?

BBC

Sony has warned users of its PlayStation Network that their personal information, including credit card details, may have been stolen.

The company said that the data might have fallen into the hands of an "unauthorised person" following a hacking attack on its online service.

Access to the network was suspended last Wednesday, but Sony has only now revealed details of what happened.

Users are being warned to look out for attempted telephone and e-mail scams.

Afghan pilot 'kills six Nato soldiers at Kabul airport'

This is why we can not TRUST any of these Afghani Soldiers, even if they are not with the Taliban, they often sympathize with them, and beyond that you have to worry about Sudden Jihad Syndrome.

It may be past time to leave Afghanistan in the complete shambles it has always been, and let them stew in the wonderful terrorist filth

BBC
Six foreign troops have been killed after an Afghan air force pilot opened fire at Kabul airport during an argument, Nato has said.

The incident took place at a facility used by the Afghan air force at around 1100 local time (0630 GMT), the Afghan defence ministry said.

The pilot was also killed in the exchange.

The incident is the latest of a number of recent attacks on foreigners by Afghan security personnel.

"We can confirm there was small arms fire during this incident," said Nato-led International Security Assistance Force spokesman Maj Tim James.

Key Al Qaeda Figure Killed in Afghanistan

Nice, Always good to hear of any Al Qaida moron killed; or Martird as they like to call it.

Foxnews
A NATO airstrike earlier this month killed a key Al Qaeda operative in Afghanistan — a regional commander in charge of suicide bombings and cash flow, the international military coalition said Tuesday.

NATO identified the man killed in the April 13 airstrike in Dangam district of eastern Kunar province as Abu Hafs al-Najdi, also known as Abdul Ghani. The alliance said the strike also killed a number of other insurgents, including another Al Qaeda leader known as Waqas.

Al-Najdi, a Saudi citizen, directed Al Qaeda operations in Kunar and traveled regularly between Afghanistan and Pakistan to coordinate with associated across the border, NATO said. He coordinated suicide bombing attacks as well as kidnappings and oversaw the transfer of money from Pakistan to cells in Afghanistan.

NATO said it has been chasing al-Najdi since 2007 and finally pinpointed him while he was meeting with Waqas.

Afghanistan recaptures 65 inmates

surprisingly Afghanistan is making an effort to recapture these Taliban rejects, you would think they would not even care.
...Rumor has it the 65 were caught at the triple T goat Ranch.

Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- Afghan authorities said Tuesday they have recaptured 65 of the more than 400 inmates who slipped out of a southern Afghanistan prison a day earlier through a nearly quarter-mile tunnel dug beneath the compound.

A massive search operation continues to find the others -- many of them insurgent fighters, said the Kandahar governor's office.

The Taliban issued a statement taking responsibility for the escape from the prison in Kandahar, the Taliban's birthplace. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahed said digging the tunnel took five months. The escape took four and a half hours, he said.

The Taliban claimed 541 prisoners escaped. The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force said the number of escaped prisoners was closer to 470. The Taliban said 106 of the escapees were military commanders, but there was no immediate government confirmation of the claim.

Syria violence: US warns citizens to leave

Who are the stupid ass's that are still in Syria?

If there are any U.S citizens in Syria, that are still within their right mind; maybe they deserve what happens to them!

It does not take any effort at all to notice that the Muslim world has been turned upside down and that you are a target within a Muslim country if you are not a Muslim!

Why would you be in Syria in the first place?

BBC

The US has warned its citizens to leave Syria, as the government of President Bashar al-Assad intensifies its campaign against peaceful protests.

The state department also said some non-essential embassy staff and all embassy dependants would be leaving.

The UK says it is working with its partners on measures against Damascus. The US is also considering santions.

Tanks have been sent into Deraa, the town at the centre of protests against President Bashar al-Assad.

There have been numerous reports of crackdowns and arrests around Syria over recent days, despite the lifting of an emergency law last week.

More than 350 people have been killed in the violence since mid-March, activists say.

Terry Jones says he'll sue over his arrest

As he Should.
A very disgusting display of extreme Dhimmitude in Dearbornistan on Friday, we no longer have the freedom to speak our minds when it comes to Islam.

Fridays ruling was not about Terry Jones Creating Violence, it was about a group of Rejects in the religion of Islam not being able to contain themselves, they were prepped and ready to riot outside the Mosque, hell they were out in force screaming at them at the court house, Amazing they were expressing their freedom of speech!

They even had the Detroit swat team on the roof of the mosque!

No this is not over yet!
Regardless of what you think of Pastor Jones, he, like the muslims in Dearbornistan have the right to say it. It would be up to the people who do not like the message to conduct themselves as civil human beings and not create the Violence.

Detnews.com
The controversy over Florida pastor Terry Jones is unlikely to end anytime soon.

He said he plans to file a lawsuit against the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office and other government offices in connection with his arrest Friday following a jury trial that found he was likely to create a "breach of the peace" for plans to protest outside the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn.

And he still vows to conduct his protest, but it will be Friday outside Dearborn City Hall.

"We invite every American who still believes in the freedom and rights that our Constitution guarantees to come and stand with us," Jones said Sunday.

The controversial Quran-burning pastor said he is working with the Ann Arbor-based Thomas More Law Center because "we were arrested for something we had not done."

Jones' case is unique, said Richard Thompson, the center's president and chief counsel. "There are legal experts and commentators from all sides of the political spectrum who agree that what happened to Pastor Jones was a violation of the First Amendment."

Constitutional law expert Robert Sedler said he is glad Jones is challenging the "bizarre" ruling by 19th District Judge Mark Somers requiring Jones to post a "peace bond," jailing him for refusing and ordering him to stay away from the mosque for three years — all before Jones held the demonstration.

"The Supreme Court says you cannot deny a permit because of the message," said Sedler, a Wayne State University Law School professor. "The U.S. Constitution supersedes everything, which is why this is so bizarre."

At the trial, prosecutors cited an imam's remark that some see burning a Quran as worth 1,000 lives to explain why violence might erupt.

PlayStation Network down for fifth day, no new update from Sony

Hmmmm, XBOXlive was up all weekend, I did not notice.

CVG
PS3 players have had to endure an entire Easter break without the PlayStation Network in the UK, as the service's downtime today stretches to five days across the globe.

Sony's latest official company update on the outage remains its clarification that the network is having to be "rebuilt" in light of an outside attack, which was posted two days ago (April 23) on the official PlayStation Blog in the US.

However, a rep has said in light of that message: "We will announce through our websites as soon as there are any updates. We are currently investigating to determine the cause of this outage and are working to restore and maintain the services. Since this is an overall security related issue, we will not be providing further commentary for this case."

When pressed on the fact that PSPlus subscribers had effectively been paying for no service during this period, SCEA PR Rep Eric Levine also told VGRevolution: "We will let our subscribers know as soon as there are updates."

Hundreds escape from Kandahar prison

The #1 reason why the Taliban should be killed instead of captured and thrown in jail, they manage to always get out.
Ultimately they will go back to being the Scumbags they have always been, only this time a lot more pissed off!
They have not seen their goats for a long time, think of only having to see Ackmhed's filthy ass for months on end!

Protect your Goats!

BBC
More than 470 inmates at a prison in southern Afghanistan have escaped through a tunnel hundreds of metres long and dug from outside the jail.

Officials in the city of Kandahar said many of those who escaped from Sarposa jail were Taliban insurgents.

The Kandahar provincial governor's office said at least 12 had since been recaptured but gave no further details.

A spokesman for Afghan President Hamid Karzai said the escape was a "disaster" which should never have happened.

The Taliban said it had taken five months to build the 320m (1,050ft) tunnel. It is believed to have been dug from a house rented by the Taliban.

About 100 of those who escaped were Taliban commanders, and most of the others were fighters with the insurgency. The prison holds about 1,200 inmates.

US confirms first Predator strike in Libya

That did not take long, Predator drones going to Libya was just announced yesterday.
No details, and that is probably how this will go the whole time...No Details.

BBC
The US military has confirmed the first strike by an unmanned Predator drone aircraft in Libya.

The Pentagon did not provide details of the target, but said that it occurred in the early afternoon local time.

Drones can hit military targets more easily in urban areas, minimising the risk of civilian casualties.

Earlier, Libya's government warned that tribes loyal to Col Muammar Gaddafi might take over the fight against the rebels in the western city of Misrata.

Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Kaim said the Libyan army was being withdrawn and suggested that the tribes would not show the same level of restraint over civilian casualties.

Western condemnation after Syrian forces kill 72

But this is the Islamic Way.
Just another day in the Islamic World.

Dawn.com
DAMASCUS: Western leaders condemned Damascus after Syrian forces shot dead at least 72 people in one of the bloodiest days of a month-long uprising after thousands had taken part in “Good Friday” protests.

The deaths signalled no let-up from President Bashar al-Assad, whose forces used live ammunition and tear gas against demonstrators in several towns and cities nationwide, witnesses and activists told AFP by telephone.

The bloodshed came amid street clashes one day after Assad scrapped decades of emergency rule and as demonstrators gathered to test long-sought freedoms.

The official SANA news agency said security forces intervened using tear gas and water cannon to “prevent clashes” between protesters and passers-by.

SANA spoke of 10 dead, including police, but rights groups put the toll much higher.

“The Syrian security forces committed massacres in several towns and regions today, so far killing 72 people and wounding hundreds,” said the London-based Syrian Human Rights Committee in a statement received by AFP.

We Don't Want Your Canadian Trash

This has been a big issue in Michigan for years, The Canadian trash haulers flood across the border to dump their trash for next to nothing.
Past political dealings(Money going into someones Pocket)has made this what it is.

Is it B.S. definitely, Can anything really be done about it, Probably; but at a cost to us Michigan Taxpayers I'm sure.

Maybe Canada Needs to Recycle!

Foxnews
Lady Liberty welcomes your tired, poor and huddled masses. She says nothing of soiled diapers, pizza boxes and Labatt Blue bottles.

Yet Michigan lawmakers are concerned Canada is treating their state as its personal waste heap, with dump trucks crossing the border from Ontario to take advantage of Michigan's bargain-rate landfills. In hopes of discouraging the trek, they're introducing legislation in Congress that would charge the Canadians exorbitant fees for bringing their garbage stateside...

But some might choose to blame Michigan for setting itself up as an international landfill destination. The state creates a financial incentive for Canadians to bring their trash across the border. Not only is the border fee just $5, it charges just 21 cents for every ton of trash. By contrast, Wisconsin charges $12.99 per ton.

Prices at Canada's landfills are much higher. They range from about $64 (U.S. dollars) per ton of commercial waste in Windsor to upwards of $100 per ton in Ottawa.

US drone raid 'kills 25' in N Waziristan

Supposedly 9 civilians were killed.
Anymore I look at it as guilt by association, the way that these people work women and children are just as capable of committing acts of terrorism right along with any of the Taliban!

Possibly some High Value Targets?

BBC
At least 25 people have been killed in a US drone strike in the troubled Pakistani tribal region of North Waziristan, officials told the BBC.

Missiles were fired on a large compound in the town of Spinwam, but five women and four children in a nearby house were also killed.

The area is a haven for al-Qaeda and Taliban militants.

Meanwhile, at least 13 soldiers died when hundreds of insurgents attacked a checkpoint near the Afghan border.

Pakistani security officials told the BBC that Afghan militants had crossed the border and stormed the army post in the Lower Dir area.

Security forces temporarily abandoned the post but now, residents say, they are back in control and have placed the entire area under curfew.

Libya: US to deploy armed drones

A small contribution, They feel that Gadaffys troops are dispersing ahead of the Airstrikes, running and hiding every time they hear the jets.

This is definitely gonna be a drawn out affair.

BBC
Armed US Predator drones are to carry out missions over Libya, Defence Secretary Robert Gates has said.

Mr Gates said their use had been authorised by President Barack Obama and would give "precision capability" to the military operation.

Unmanned US drones are already used to target militants along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

Libyan rebels have been battling Col Gaddafi's troops since February but have recently made little headway.

"President Obama has said that where we have some unique capabilities, he is willing to use those," Mr Gates told a news conference.

He said two Predators were being made available to Nato as needed, and marked a "modest contribution" to the military operations.

Pakistan's ISI spy agency has 'militant links'

The Big "No DUH" of the week!

BBC
The US military's top officer, Adm Mike Mullen, has accused Pakistan's spy agency of having links with militants targeting troops in Afghanistan.

He said Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) had a "long-standing relationship" with a militant group run by Afghan insurgent Jalaluddin Haqqani.

The comments came as he held talks in Islamabad on Wednesday. Pakistani officials are also in the US for talks.

Pakistan routinely rejects charges of collusion with militants.

The BBC's M Ilyas Khan in Islamabad says that US officials have in the past spoken anonymously or in circumspect terms about associations between the Pakistani establishment and insurgents.

But that with this blunt statement Adm Mullen has for the first time claimed a clear link between the two, our correspondent says.

"It's fairly well known that the ISI has a long-standing relationship with the Haqqani network," Adm Mullen told Pakistan's Dawn newspaper.

"Haqqani is supporting, funding, training fighters that are killing Americans and killing coalition partners. And I have a sacred obligation to do all I can to make sure that doesn't happen."

He said the spy agency's support of the network remained at the "core ... and the most difficult part of the relationship" and that he would take it up with Pakistan's army chief Gen Ashfaq Kayani.>

Arizona Sheriff Cites Flood of Border Agents Confirming Feds' No-Apprehension Policy

"We have been told that - Apprehensions = failure, we are not 'immigration' officers, we should not 'lower' ourselves to the status of an immigration officer, and our primary job is not apprehending illegal aliens. Couple all this with Secretary Napolitano's recent public announcement about what she expects our apprehension numbers to be this fiscal year, and it's not hard to figure this thing out.”

What a bunch of B.S., It has been kind of obvious over the past few years that the Federal Government does not want to deter Illegal immigration.

Here is the Confirmation on that, and I'm sure it will be said that all this is B.S. also.

What are the benefits to the United States for letting every Illegal Immigrant in?

Somebody is benefiting somewhere, I guess if we were to look at the people who are the extreme Pro Immigration people(The higher up ones) maybe we could find out!

Foxnews
An Arizona sheriff says he has been flooded with calls and emails of support from local and federal agents who back his claims that the U.S. Border Patrol has effectively ordered them to stop apprehending illegal immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexican border.

“Upper management has advised supervisors to have agents ‘turn back South’ (TBS) the illegal aliens (aka bodies) they detect attempting to unlawfully enter the country … at times you even hear supervisors order the agents over the radio to 'TBS' the aliens instead of catching them,” one San Diego border agent wrote in an email to Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever.

“This only causes more problems as the aliens, as you know, don't just go back to Mexico and give up. They keep trying, sometimes without 10 minutes in-between attempts, to cross illegally,” continued the email, which was among a number of communications to Dever reviewed by FoxNews.com. “This makes the job for agents more dangerous. Not only are the aliens more defiant, they also begin to feel like they can get away with breaking our federal laws.”

Body count from mass graves in Mexico rises to 145

Sixteen police officers are arrested for allegedly providing cover to drug-cartel gangsters suspected in the slayings. The graves were found near the northern Mexico town of San Fernando, where the arrested officers worked.

Don't worry Mexico Is safe, it's not like the police are involved in any wrong doings, like killing people!

The newspaper Reforma reported Friday that there are 400 unclaimed suitcases at bus depots in the route's final destination city of Matamoros.

So 400 at this bus depot, that's 255 more bodies they have not found yet!
and this is just one bus depot! buses are a major way of travel throughout Mexico.

Not a big deal though, this stuff doesn't happen by the border or anything like that!

The Los Angeles Times
The number of bodies pulled from mass graves in northeastern Mexico has risen to 145, officials said Friday, following the arrest of 16 police officers for allegedly providing cover to drug-cartel gangsters suspected in the grisly slayings.

Morelos Canseco, a senior government official for the state of Tamaulipas where the clandestine burials were discovered, said another 23 bodies were extracted Thursday. Unlike the previous victims who are thought to be passengers kidnapped recently from buses, the latest corpses had apparently been buried for a much longer time, Canseco said in a radio interview.

Canseco said none of the bus companies whose passengers were kidnapped ever informed authorities about the crimes. The newspaper Reforma reported Friday that there are 400 unclaimed suitcases at bus depots in the route's final destination city of Matamoros.

Suicide attackers are enemies of Islam, Pakistan

This is something you don't hear very often, Muslims actually spouting off against a part of Islam! they best be careful though, saying that suicide Bombings are Un-Islamic is nothing short of Blasphemy within Islam! That will get you killed in Pakistan !

Dawn.com
LAHORE: The suicide attacks are forbidden and totally against the teachings of Islam, and suicide bombers are the great enemies of Islam and Pakistan.

This was the crux of the speakers at ‘Istehkaam-e- Pakistan Sunni Conference’ organised by Sunni Ittihad Council (SIC) at Minar-e-Pakistan (Iqbal Park) on Sunday.

The SIC Chairman Sahibzada Haji Muhammad Fazal Karim, in his address, condemned the terrorist attacks in various parts of the country, especially on mosques and shrines of saints. He called for an open trial of those arrested for their alleged involvement in terror activities.

Fazal Karim said that at Minar-e-Pakistan, they took oath for making every effort to save Pakistan, adding, now the country’s politics would be done on merit and the SIC would raise up a leadership from middle class of the society.

He said that SIC would not tolerate any negative change in the textbooks of various educational institutions of the country, and would ensure an equal educational system for the rich and the poor...

The problem is that Pakistans educational system was Hijacked back in the Seventies, it has already had a negative change, so to not tolerate any negative change is not necessarily a good thing!

Afghanistan "Puppets" Attacked

The Taliban probably think they are so smooth when they release statements using words like "Puppet" but it really makes them look cheezy!
I bet they have a little get together, a small group of Crafty Propaganda guys(and a couple of goats)sitting around arguing over the best words to use so they look tough!

The attacker, who was also wearing an explosive vest, reached the second floor, where the defence minister and the army chief of staff have offices.

He managed to shoot aides to the minister and the chief-of-staff before being killed by bodyguards.

The Taliban said they had intended to kill the "puppet" defence minister.

The BBC's Bilal Sarwary in Kabul says this is first time a gunman has got so close to an Afghan minister's office.

Illinois Girl Ran Away From Home to Avoid Arranged Marriage

This is from the other day, but well worth mentioning, As you hear Muslims come on the T.V. and say how Islam is not like this and not like that; here is one more story of how Islam is just like people say.

I hope they find this girl and protect her from her parents, especially her Father.
I don't know that they can prosecute this POS, but it would be nice if you could.

Foxnews

Illinois police are searching for a missing teenage girl who authorities say ran away from home to avoid an arranged marriage, MyFoxChicago.com reports.

Zaineb Chaudhary, 16, was last seen March 11 at Niles North High School in Skokie, Ill.

Officer Tammy Jacobsen of the Skokie Police Department told the station that Zaineb's father visited his native Pakistan in October to arrange a marriage for his daughter.

"He has stated that he was there, looking for marriage arrangement for his daughter," Jacobsen said in an interview.

Police said the girl's disappearance could be viewed as a disgrace by her family and want to protect her from any possible "honor crime," according to the station.

Immigrant Gets More Than 34 Years in Prison for Running Over Westernized Daughter

A more correct headline would be,

"Pathetic POS Muslim Convicted of Honor Killing"

But that would be to close to the truth of the matter.
Either way, the Islamic Nitwit will spend 34 1/2 Years behind bars, Why 34 1/2 ? why not sentenced to life? How about that Death Penalty thing?
Who am I kidding, there are to many limp wristed liberal assclowns in this country to do that! After all He is a Muslim! That's like the Religion Of Peace; or something like that.

Foxnews
PHOENIX -- An Iraqi immigrant has been sentenced to 34 1/2 years in an Arizona prison for running over his daughter because she became too Westernized.

Faleh Hassan Almaleki was convicted of second-degree murder in the October 2009 death of his 20-year-old daughter, Noor Almaleki.

A jury also found the 50-year-old guilty of aggravated assault for running over the mother of Noor's boyfriend and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident.

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge told Almaleki that forgiveness is the core of all religion and was struck by his lack of remorse for the killing.

Nasa sky-map data's stellar spectacular

Awesome stuff, some of the most beautiful things you could ever see are out in space, new pictures are always exciting.

Here's the gallery, and this is the Multimedia gallery for you technical people, you can select an object, download it, and save it, of course you need to know where the object is (Right Ascension and Declination)and these are in different filters (red, blue, green,)you can view them combined or separately, but you can't view in the all four band mode, but hey it is good enough!

Walesonline.co.uk
Nasa has released a trove of data from its sky-mapping mission, allowing scientists and anyone with internet access to peruse millions of galaxies, stars, asteroids and other hard-to-see objects.

Many of the targets in the celestial catalogue released online this week have been previously observed, but there are significant new discoveries. The mission’s finds include more than 33,000 new asteroids floating between Mars and Jupiter and 20 comets.

Nasa launched the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, which carried an infrared telescope, in December 2009 to scan the cosmos in finer detail than previous missions. The spacecraft, known as WISE, mapped the sky one and a half times during its 14-month mission, snapping more than 2.5 million images from its polar orbit.

The spacecraft’s ability to detect heat glow helps it find dusty, cold and distant objects that are often invisible to regular telescopes.

The batch of images made available represents a little over half of what has been observed in the all-sky survey. The full cosmic census is due for release next spring.

Gaddafi 'cluster bombing Misrata'

Cluster bombs are very effective at making a mess out of an area real quick, most countries don't use them anymore.
Gaddafi doesn't care what anyone thinks about what he does, he's a terrorist and politicians and other terrorist dictator type people will still love him.

So basically he will get a free pass on this one.

BBC
Pro-government forces in Libya have been accused by a human rights campaign group of using cluster bombs, which are banned by more than 100 countries.

Human Rights Watch said one of its photographers saw three mortar-launched projectiles explode over a residential area of Misrata.

A Libyan government spokesman denied the allegation.

Government troops have intensified their siege of Misrata, the only western Libyan city still in rebel hands.

The BBC's Orla Guerin reports from inside the battle-scarred city that local residents fear a massacre without greater action by Nato air forces to break the siege.

Hamas claims Israel killed Italian to stop Gaza flotilla

Of course it was Da Joooos!
who else in the heart of the Gaza strip would kidnap an Italian pro Palestinian
activist, demand that Hamas release members of an Al Qaida linked group (Tawhid wal-Jihad) then kill the poor bastard before the deadline they set?

Oh wait, Maybe it was not Da Jooos!

oh well Blame them anyways!

The Jerusalem post
Islamic terrorist groups disclaim kidnapping, murder of activist; al-Qaida-linked group had previously claimed responsibility, made ransom demands.

Radical Islamic terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip distanced themselves from the kidnapping and murder of Italian activist Vittorio Arrigoni, who was found dead early Friday morning in the Strip.

Among the groups who disclaimed the attack was Tawhid wal-Jihad, the al-Qaida-linked group that had initially said it was holding the Italian national and conditioned said they would only release him if their own leader, recently arrested by Hamas, was released, Gaza-based newspaper Palestine Today reported.

Educated Islam ?

Or more like the reeducation of Islam.
School textbooks in Pakistan are being rewritten to help promote Jihad!
Surprised, me neither, but it has been going on since the seventies.

This is the main reason why Pakistan and Muslim countries like Pakistan are doomed to self destruction, you can't fight ignorance, and it has been bred into Pakistanis for decades.

This is from a post at Dawn.comit is a little long to post here but really interesting to read.

Dawn.com
A majority of state and government workers, along with various NGOs and donor agencies, who are involved in the uplift of education in the country have suggested that low literacy rates have helped extremist and sectarian organisations in easily ‘brainwashing’ the illiterate young men into committing acts of carnage and bloodshed in the name of religion.

For this purpose, these organisations use a warped mixture of cleverly selected verses from the Quran and sayings (hadith) of the Prophet (PBUH) – giving it an un-scholarly and distorted interpretation – and an equally twisted worldview about international politics and the ‘sinister’ role being played by Hindus (India), Christians (US/West) and, of course, the Jews...

The report noticed the following in Pakistani social studies and history books:

* Insensitivity to the existing religious diversity of the nation.

* Incitement to militancy and violence, including encouragement of jihad and shahadat.

* A glorification of war and the use of force.

* Inaccuracies of fact and omissions that serve to substantially distort the nature and significance of actual events in our history.

* Perspectives that encourage prejudice, bigotry and discrimination towards fellow citizens, especially women and religious minorities.

* Omission of concepts that could encourage critical self awareness among students.

Indonesia 'suicide bomber' wounds 28 in mosque blast

And the scourge that is Islam keeps moving forward!

One day, the people of the world will come to realize that in general Islam Must go!

They constantly kill, EVERYDAY! When they are pushed and taken to task they kill their own to prove their point!

How do you fight against rejects that are willing to kill their own people?

BBC
A suspected suicide bomber has attacked a mosque in Indonesia, killing himself and wounding 28 people.

Nearly half of the wounded are police officers, as the attack happened during Friday prayers at a mosque in a police compound in Cirebon, West Java.

It is the first suspected suicide attack in the country in two years but follows a recent spate of letter bombs.

A majority of Indonesians are Muslims but the state is secular.

Witnesses said the man was sitting among worshippers when he set off the explosives.

"He was praying. From the third row, suddenly there was a blast. I was at the last row," one witness named Anton was quoted as saying by Detik news website.

Italian activist found dead in Gaza after abduction

Let's put this in perspective,
Mr Arrigoni was a palestinian activist, he was very much against Israel, He was on the side of the people of Palestine!

The Salafist murdering douchebags? they believe Hamas is a bunch of Mamby pamby little boys!

So what do you do for a country that kills people that are on their side? Oh, you push as hard as you can to grant them statehood!

All this really does is show how Muslims at their core really are, evil wretched savages!

BBC
An Italian pro-Palestinian activist has been found dead in the Hamas-governed Gaza Strip hours after being abducted.

Vittorio Arrigoni, 36, was seized on Thursday by a radical group that has been in conflict with Hamas and is seeking the release of its leader.

Heh! Pakistan wants the CIA Out... Yeah right.

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- A suspected U.S. drone strike in Pakistan's tribal region killed six suspected militants on Wednesday, intelligence officials told CNN.

The intelligence officials asked not to be named because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

US calls for release of citizen 'held in North Korea'

The main Question here, Why was this American in North Korean Territory?

Probably the stupidest move they ever made, and now we have to pay millions of dollars in taxes to help get this Jackass out of the North Korean Hell hole.

Can we prosecute them in the U.S for extreme stupidity?

BBC
The US state department says an American citizen is being held in North Korea, and is calling for the person's release on humanitarian grounds.

No details have been given about the American's identity or the circumstances of the arrest.

The news comes ahead of a scheduled visit to Seoul this weekend by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Efforts to ease tensions on the Korean peninsula are continuing, after two military attacks last year.

The state department is refusing to answer questions about the detained citizen - such as who are they? What were they doing in North Korea? When, where and why were they arrested? - because it says the individual has not signed a privacy waiver.

No More Hugs !

"The suicide attacker approached them, hugged Malik Zarin and then detonated the explosives strapped to his body,"

No More Hugs.
Not in Afghanistan At least, especially by people you don't really know.

And it still surprises me that there are people who Support groups like the Taliban and Al Qaida, when they do stuff like this. It really goes to show you how barbaric a majority of the Muslim world really is!

BBC
A suicide bomber has killed at least 10 people in an attack on tribal elders in eastern Afghanistan, the interior ministry has said.

Pro-government tribal elder Haji Malik Zarin was killed in the blast in Kunar province near the Pakistan border.

Mr Zarin, a close ally of President Karzai, died along with his son and another family member.

A Taliban spokesman denied the group carried out the attack, saying that Mr Zarin had "his own enemies".

Mr Zarin was a former military commander in the civil war in the 1990s. He had survived a previous assassination attempt.

He was killed as a village shura, or meeting of local elders, came to an end in Asmar district.

"The suicide attacker approached them, hugged Malik Zarin and then detonated the explosives strapped to his body," district police chief Mohammad Shoaib told the AFP news agency.

Nuclear crisis raised to Chernobyl level

There have been no fatalities resulting from the leaks at Fukushima, and risks to human health are thought to be low.

And the most disturbing thought of this whole Disaster, They keep saying the risk from the radiation is thought to be low... Thought, not really known.

BBC
Japanese authorities have raised the severity rating of their nuclear crisis to the highest level, seven.

The decision reflects the total release of radiation at the damaged Fukushima Daiichi power plant, which is ongoing, rather than a sudden deterioration.

Level seven previously only applied to the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, where 10 times as much radiation was emitted.

There have been no fatalities resulting from the leaks at Fukushima, and risks to human health are thought to be low.

The level seven signifies a "major accident" with "wider consequences" than the previous level, officials say.

But the change has not been made because things have suddenly got worse at the Fukushima plant. Rather, a full assessment of the available data now suggests that a higher rating is justified.

Although the Japanese incident now equates to Chernobyl on the international scale, the two accidents are different in a number of important ways. In Chernobyl it was the reactor core itself that exploded, releasing a huge amount of radioactive material in a very short space of time. Fukushima experienced a less critical hydrogen explosion.

The initial radiation leak amounted to about a 10th of that which escaped from Chernobyl. The major concern in Japan is that the nuclear plant has not yet been brought under control, and some radioactive material is still seeping out.

"We have upgraded the severity level to seven as the impact of radiation leaks has been widespread from the air, vegetables, tap water and the ocean," said Minoru Oogoda of Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (Nisa), the government's nuclear watchdog.

Ivory Coast's Gbagbo Detained by French Special Forces

Great news, one less murdering madman out of the way!

Now they just have to get Alassane Ouattara under arrest and they will have the other one!

Then they can start all over again!

Foxnews
ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast -- Ivory Coast strongman Laurent Gbagbo was detained by French special forces Monday at his presidential compound in the country's biggest city Abidjan, state-run radio France Info reports.

"Gbagbo has been arrested by French special forces in his residence and has been handed over to the rebel leaders," Gbagbo spokesman Toussaint Alain told Reuters.

His capture came after French and UN armored vehicles were deployed on a road close to Gbagbo's besieged Abidjan residence on Monday.

Burqa Ban Update; Already.

Just as I figured, Plenty of people are causing problems with the Burqa Ban.

Breaking the Law just to be a Pain in the Ass.

The Telegraph
The women were arrested along with several other people protesting in front of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris against the new law.

Journalists at the scene said the arrests came after police moved in to break up the protest which had not been authorized.

On Saturday police arrested 59 people, including 19 veiled women, who turned up for a banned protest in Paris against the draconian new law, the first of its kind to be enforced in Europe.

Earlier, French police said they will be enforcing the country’s new burka ban "extremely cautiously" because of fears of provoking violence.

They fear Muslims extremists will use the law to provoke fights with officers, while rich visitors from countries like Saudi Arabia will also cause trouble .

French ban on Islamic face veil comes into force

Guidelines issued to police say they should not ask women to remove their veils in the street, but should escort them to a police station where they would be asked to uncover their faces for identification.

Oh yeah, and the first time they actually haul a Burqa wearing woman into the police station look out for the Muslim Outrage that follows.

I'm all for anything that generally irritates Muslims, honestly, anything that irritates any group of people that think they are Superior to another goes over well with me. the response always shows the truth in how they really are.

BBC
A law has come into force in France which makes it an offence for a Muslim woman to conceal her face behind a veil when in public.

Anyone caught breaking the law will be liable to a fine of 150 euros (£133, $217) and a citizenship course.

People forcing women to wear the veil face a much larger fine and a prison sentence of up to two years.

France is the first country in Europe to publicly ban a form of dress some Muslims regard as a religious duty.

Under the law, any woman - French or foreign - walking on the street or in a park in France and wearing a face-concealing veil such as the niqab or burka can be stopped by police and given a fine.

It is a small fine, but symbolically this is a huge change, says the BBC's Hugh Schofield in Paris.

Guidelines issued to police say they should not ask women to remove their veils in the street, but should escort them to a police station where they would be asked to uncover their faces for identification.

Gaddafi government accepts truce plan

Well ain't that special.

But unless Gaddafi steps down the rebels will not be happy.

It sounds like no one talked to the rebels in any of the negotiations, outsiders did all the talking with Gaddafi; not with anyone who started this whole pile of crap.

Supposedly they will have a little sit down today and the rebels will be told what they need to accept, you can probably bet this ain't over yet.

BBC
A rebel spokesman said any deal designed to keep Colonel Gaddafi or his sons in place would not be acceptable

South African President Jacob Zuma says the Libyan government has accepted an African Union peace proposal to end the eight-week-old conflict.

Mr Zuma's AU delegation met Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi in Tripoli on Sunday. An AU team is going to the eastern rebel stronghold of Benghazi.

But rebel spokesmen said there could be no truce unless Col Gaddafi stepped down and his forces withdrew.

In Ajdabiya, pro-Gaddafi forces have pushed back rebels in fierce fighting.

Nato says its planes destroyed 25 government tanks on Sunday alone.

The alliance said it had "taken note" of the AU initiative and welcomed efforts to save Libyan civilians.

'Ten years' to decommission nuclear plant

Ten years, just to decommission the plants. What about stopping the Radioactivity from leaching out everywhere.
Twenty Five years since Chernobyl, and they still don't have the sarcophagus built, so ten years; that's pretty ambitious.

BBC
Japanese reactor maker Toshiba says it could decommission the earthquake-damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant in about 10 years, a third quicker than the US Three Mile Island plant.

Radiation has been leaking from the Fukushima plant since a 9.0-magnitude quake and tsunami on 11 March.

Its operator said it would stop pumping radioactive water into the sea on Sunday, a day later than expected.

Toshiba, one of two Japanese nuclear reactor makers, said it could decommission the Fukushima-Daiichi plant in about 10 years, Kyodo news agency reported.

That would be about two-thirds of the time taken to dismantle the Three Mile Island nuclear plant in the US after it suffered a partial reactor core meltdown in 1979.

The work would involve removing the fuel rods from their containers and the spent fuel rods from the storage pools from four of the plant's reactors and demolishing facilities.

United Nations officials say investigators have found more than 100 bodies in western Ivory Coast in the past 24 hours.

A spokesman for the U.N. human rights agency said bodies were found in more than one location and most of the deaths seemed to be "ethnically motivated."

On Thursday, Ivory Coast's internationally recognized President Alassane Ouattara asked all Ivorians to refrain from acts of violence.

In a televised speech, Ouattara said his forces have set up a blockade around the presidential compound in Abidjan, where his rival Laurent Gbagbo is barricaded.

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil -- A gunman roamed the halls of a Rio de Janeiro elementary school Thursday and killed 12 children, lining them up against a wall and shooting them in the head at point-blank range as he shouted, "I'm going to kill you all!"

It was the worst school shooting in Brazil -- and would have been deadlier if the gunman had not been shot in the legs by a police officer, who said the man then fell down some stairs and shot himself in the head.

Rio de Janeiro state's Secretariat of Health and Civil Defense said in a statement on its Web site that at least 12 other students were injured and taken to hospitals. At least two were in grave condition.

The so-called underwear bomber charged with trying to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner says prison life hasn’t been so good for him, claiming that he’s been denied certain reading materials and commissary items.

“I feel – how should I say – I’m being treated unjustly and unfairly by the government,” Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab told a federal judge in Detroit today.

Abdulmutallab, who has insisted on representing himself thus far, told his grievances to U.S. District Court Judge Nancy Edmunds during a pretrial conference.

During the hearing, Abdulmutallab said that he hasn’t been able to call his lawyer when he wants. He also said prison officials canceled one of his magazine subscriptions – he did not name the magazine -- and have told him that he is not allowed to read “inflammatory” material.

“That leaves me with nothing but a few religious books and certain fiction,” Abdulmutallab said, later adding, “I think that’s very unfair. They can pretty much take any reading material and say there’s inflammatory (material) in that.”

Protests in more than 20 Mexican cities against drug-related violence have been interrupted by news of the discovery of 59 bodies.

The bodies were found in Tamaulipas state by police investigating the abduction of bus passengers.

The area is a hotspot in the violence related to drug trafficking that is ravaging parts of Mexico.

The violence was condemned by protesters in the main square in Mexico City, who chanted: "No more blood!"

The bodies were found in eight separate graves in the area of San Fernando, police said - with 43 corpses found in a single grave.

Authorities in Tamaulipas said they had found the graves while investigating reports that, late last month, buses in the area had been stopped and passengers pulled off and kidnapped .

In a raid, 11 people were arrested, while five others being held captive by the alleged kidnappers were freed.

Four children killed playing with explosive in Kohat

Why did this happen...
Because they have seen the "Adults" do it all the Time!

Dawn.com
PESHAWAR: Police say four boys were killed while playing with an abandoned explosive device that went off in northwest Pakistan.

The children were playing near a pond in the garrison town of Kohat with what officials describe as a ”shell” apparently from a mortar.

Trace Amounts of Radiation From Japan Found in U.S. Drinking Water

And here we go, "Trace" levels of Radiation! That's all, don't worry about it right?
Fine, but I do not trust the EPA, (A government thing, you know) and knowing what most Government agencies do "LIE" I ain't buying it.
For one why are we not hearing about the radiation traversing the U.S., why is nothing being said. the Japanese Government has been lying for weeks over how much radiation has been being spewed into the environment, so why wouldn't ours do the same? you know,
all in the name of helping Japan, all in the name of keeping panic out of the news, all in the name of Bullshit!
No I don't think we are being overdosed with radiation, but I do believe that our Government would specifically keep numbers at lower levels so as to keep us in the dark over how much we really are being radiated! in the name of "It's for our own good"

Foxnews
Trace amounts of radioactive iodine from Japan's crippled nuclear reactors have been found in drinking water in Washington State and Idaho, the Environmental Protection Agency announced late Monday.

The levels of iodine-131 found -- about 0.2 picocuries per liter -- in drinking water samples from Boise, Idaho, and Richland, Wash., are so small that EPA officials estimate that an infant would have to drink nearly 7,000 liters to receive a dose of radiation equivalent to a day's worth of normal background radiation.

"Earlier precipitation samples collected by EPA have shown trace amounts of radioactivity, so EPA has expected to find results such as these in some drinking water samples," the statement read. "Similar findings are to be expected in the coming weeks."

The EPA's standard for the maximum level of iodine-131 in drinking water is 3 picocuries per liter. Iodine-131 can be harmful in higher amounts, particularly to infants and young children, because it concentrates in the thyroid gland and can lead to cancer.

Drinking water tested free of detectable levels of radioactive contaminants in several other U.S. cities, including Seattle; Portland; Idaho Falls, Idaho; New Orleans; Bismarck, N.D.; Austin, Texas; and Lynchburg, Va.

Also on Monday, the EPA reported elevated levels of radionuclides in rainwater from Olympia, Portland and cities in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Idaho, Minnesota, New York, Ohio and Tennessee. Levels of iodine-131 ranged as high as 242 picocuries per liter in Boise. Levels in Olympia, Wash., and Portland, Ore., were 125 picocuries per liter and 87 picocuries per liter, respectively.

Although those levels are several times higher than the EPA's drinking-water standard for iodine-131, the agency says that the standard is designed to protect a person who drinks contaminated water daily for 70 years. However, because the isotope has a half-life of eight days, levels of iodine-131 are expected to drop quickly.

Japanese Plug Nuclear Plant Leak

Sounds good eh? And it is, it is awesome news. But the problem now is Hydrogen buildup within one of the containment vessels, this is not so good.
If they can not properly treat this situation and get it under control we will have a Chernobyl style situation.
Let's hope they are already building the sarcophagus for this one.

VOA
Troubles continue at Japan's crippled nuclear plant, where technicians believe they have solved one big problem but are confronting another.

Officials said Wednesday they have finally stopped a leak of radioactive water from the Fukushima power station that was raising radiation in the nearby ocean to millions of times the legal limit.

But now they are worried about a build-up of hydrogen inside the containment vessel at another of the plant's six reactors, creating the risk of an explosion that could release large amounts of radiation into the atmosphere. Plant officials said they may pump nitrogen into the reactor in an attempt to halt the chemical reaction.

Laurent Gbagbo 'to surrender within hours'

Maybe an end to the slaughter in the Ivory Coast.
About a thousand were Killed just last week alone, one of the preferred methods of killing, Being hacked to bits with a Machete.
How many have been killed overall, we may never know but

BBC
A British man in Ivory Coast describes being trapped in his home

Ivory Coast leader Laurent Gbagbo, besieged in his presidential compound in Abidjan, is still negotiating his departure with the UN and could surrender "within hours", France says.

However the French armed forces chief said military strikes against Mr Gbagbo could resume if he refused to go.

Mr Gbagbo is encircled by troops loyal to the recognised winner of November's disputed election, Alassane Ouattara.

Mr Gbagbo has denied he is surrendering saying he is only negotiating a truce.

French Armed forces chief Adm Edouard Guillaud told Europe 1 radio that Mr Gbagbo had twice been on the point of stepping down - on 1 April and 4 April - before pulling back.

He said negotiations with the UN had continued through the night without result.

"Unfortunately I can't see a way out for the time being, I think it's a matter of hours... in the course of the day," he said.

"He is locked in the [presidential] residence and it remains in the possession of his supporters."

Japan nuke plant spews more radiation into sea

Awesome, when do we start getting fed the Radioactive Fish?
Don't you get tired of hearing how the Radiation is not a problem, Move along Sheeple!

Foxnews
Radiation in seawater at the shoreline off Japan's tsunami-ravaged nuclear power plant has measured several million times the legal limit over the past few days, though officials contended Tuesday that the contamination still does not pose an immediate danger.

Radiation has been pouring in to the Pacific from the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant since a 9.0-magnitude earthquake spawned a massive tsunami that inundated the complex. Over the weekend, workers there discovered a crack where highly contaminated water was spilling directly into the ocean.

Experts have said that radiation dissipates quickly in the vast Pacific, but they have also said that it's unclear what the long-term effects of large amounts of contamination will be.

Japan Resumes Pumping Radioactive Water Into Nearby Sea

Alright so they just keep cycling water in and out of the nuclear reactors, each time the water is progressively millions of times more contaminated than the next. coupled with the fact that there are obviously cracks in the containment pits that have been leaking radioactive water into the environment the whole time, this makes Chernobyl Peanuts.
And what the hell do they think this is going to do to the Ocean?

VOA
Nuclear technicians have resumed pumping radioactive water from Japan's crippled nuclear plant into the nearby ocean, where radioactivity levels several million times the allowable limit are now being reported.

Officials with the Tokyo Electric Power Company said 2,800 tons of radioactive water had been pumped into the sea from a temporary storage facitily by 9 a.m. Tuesday. The company plans to empty 10,000 tons of water from the tank to make room for water that is much more highly contaminated and preventing repair work at the plant.

Another 1,500 tons is being pumped from two nearby buildings.

Japan's NHK Television meanwhile reported that radioactive iodine levels were measured Saturday in the sea near the Fukushima plant's Number 2 reactor at levels more than 7 milliion times the legal limit. Another measurement on Monday morning found levels at 5 million times the legal limit.

Both measurements were taken before the deliberate pumping began. The intense contamination is believed to be coming from a maintenance pit next to the number two reactor, which has filled with water after weeks of efforts to keep nuclear fuel rods in the plant's six units from overheating. Repeated efforts to seal the leak have failed.

Ivory Coast: Presidential residence 'taken' in Abidjan

Another thousand people or so to be slaughtered this week?

BBC
Forces loyal to Ivory Coast's UN-recognised president say they have captured the besieged incumbent's residence in the main city of Abidjan.

Alassane Ouattara's spokesman said his troops had overrun the home of Laurent Gbagbo, who refuses to step down, though his whereabouts are unclear.

Heavy weapons fire rocked the city early on Tuesday.

Hours earlier, UN and French helicopters attacked targets around the presidential residence.

Mr Ouattara's representative in Paris, Ali Coulibaly, told French media that Mr Gbagbo was now negotiating his surrender.

Pastor Terry Jones Receives Death Threats After Koran Burning

Surprised? me neither, Pastor Jones while being an ignorant man, has the full right in this country to do what he did.
While on the other hand, the People of the religion of peace, are murderous savages who will kill any one that gets in their way when they are whipped into a frenzy.

Pastor Jones is not responsible for the deaths of these people, the crazed Muslims who did the killing are.

But the man now has a 2.4 million dollar bounty on his head!

It is time people stand up and see what Islam really stands for. Pure Violence.

ABCNEWS
Terry Jones, the Florida pastor who supervised the burning of the Koran last month, said he's not backing down after receiving death threats.

Jones said he feels no responsibility for the violence sparked by his church's action, including the violent protest at a United Nations complex in Afghanistan Saturday that left at least 11 people dead - and 20 killed in weekend violence...

Of Saturday's violence, Jones said it proved his point.

"We wanted to raise awareness of this dangerous religion and dangerous element," Jones said. "I think [today's attack] proves that there is a radical element of Islam." ...

While Jones does not plan on any future Koran burnings, the death threats are streaming in.

"Right now we have a little over 300 threats, today 10 threats have come in," Jones said.

Some threats are so specific that they name date time and place.

The FBI said Hezbollah has a $2.4 million bounty on his head.

Pakistan blast 'kills five' at bus station

And once again a suicide bombing in Pakistan targeting some innocent people who were possibly not Islamic enough!
And the rest of Pakistan...Silent on this one too, best not encourage the wrath of the Taliban!

BBC
At least five people have been killed after a suicide bomber struck a bus station in north-west Pakistan.

The blast hit the small town of Jandool in Lower Dir, where Pakistani troops fought a major offensive against the Taliban two years ago.

A member of a government-backed peace committee, set up to mantain security after the offensive, was reported to have been killed in the blast.

Militants frequently launch attacks in districts close to the Afghan border.

But no group has said they carried out this attack yet. This is the sixth bombing in as many days in Pakistan.

Afghanistan: Nato soldiers shot by Afghan 'policeman'

Another Taliban Sympathizer in the Afghanistan police force?
It would not be surprising at all, and not the first time.

Bastards.

BBC
Two Nato soldiers have been shot dead by a man wearing an Afghan border police uniform in Afghanistan's Faryab province, officials say.

Nato is investigating the incident but said the gunman had fled the checkpoint where the shooting happened.

But another account says that the shots were fired from a nearby house and a police officer ran away at that point.

Nato is due begin transferring power to local Afghan forces in July.

If the attacker in this incident is proven to be a member of the security forces, this would be just the latest in a string of attacks by Afghan security personnel on foreign forces.

Koran protests in Kandahar and Jalalabad

"I don't think we should be blaming any Afghan," Mr de Mistura said. "We should be blaming the person who produced the news

Oh those U.N. guys they are "sofa-King" stupid!

it was not a group of deranged Muslims that were whipped into a frenzy by their religious leaders! no, no, no, Terry Jones did it all the way from Florida!

BULLSHIT, If you graze the endless Videos on YouTube, you will find several videos of people burning the Quran! not just reject jones.

So why would just this one video do this?

It did not, it was a bunch of crazed lunatics that did this, religious zealots, MURDERERS, weak minded individuals that will buy and do what ever their Imams tell them to do !

The U.N. well they are just a bunch of Pussies who would rather please a Muslim than do what is right, they would rather give the crazed lunatics their guns so that they may be killed, all for Islam!

ISLAM WILL FAIL!

BBC
At least one person has been killed and 16 injured in a third day of protests in Afghanistan over the burning of a Koran in the US last month.

Hundreds of demonstrators marched in Kandahar, Jalalabad and other areas on Sunday.

On Friday, 14 people, including seven UN staff, were killed in Mazar-e Sharif after similar protests...

Ten people in Kandahar died and dozens were injured following Saturday's protests...

The UN's chief envoy to Afghanistan, Staffan de Mistura, blamed Friday's violence in the northern city of Mazar-e Sharif on the Florida pastor who burnt the Koran on 20 March.

"I don't think we should be blaming any Afghan," Mr de Mistura said. "We should be blaming the person who produced the news - the one who burned the Koran. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from offending culture, religion, traditions."

The UN would temporarily re-deploy 11 staff members to Kabul while their office in Mazar-e Sharif was rebuilt, he said, but there would be no evacuation.

Federal Agents Told to Reduce Border Arrests, Arizona Sheriff Says

I'm pretty sure this will get hushed in the media, but I can fully believe this is going on.
I have never understood why there is such a push to import people from another country, into the United States, it makes no sense.
But it happens, so many politicians that make the laws in this land want more than anything any Mexican that wants to come to the U.S. to go ahead and do so.
I don't know what the benefits of taking on another countries people are, while the whole time the Citizens who live here now are looked upon like third world citizens.

Foxnews
An Arizona sheriff says U.S. Border Patrol officials have repeatedly told him they have been ordered to reduce -- at times even stop -- arrests of illegal immigrants caught trying to cross the U.S. border.

Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever told FoxNews.com that a supervisor with the U.S. Border Patrol told him as recently as this month that the federal agency’s office on Arizona's southern border was under orders to keep apprehension numbers down during specific reporting time periods.

“The senior supervisor agent is telling me about how their mission is now to scare people back,” Dever said in an interview with FoxNews.com. “He said, ‘I had to go back to my guys and tell them not to catch anybody, that their job is to chase people away. … They were not to catch anyone, arrest anyone. Their job was to set up posture, to intimidate people, to get them to go back.”

Dever said his recent conversation with the Border Patrol supervisor was the latest in a series of communications on the subject that he has had with various federal agents over the last two years. Dever said he plans to relay the substance of these conversations when he testifies under oath next month before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.

“I will raise my hand to tell the truth and swear to God, and nothing is more serious or important than that,” he said. “I’m going to tell them that, here’s what I hear and see every day: I had conversation with agent A, B, C, D and this is what they told me.”
