How to build a bomb in the kitchen of your Mom? Yes right from the Al Qaida Online Mag INSPIRE.
Yeah they left that part out, who you say, everyone in the media.
Its all different when you say it is from an Al Qaida manual on how to make a bomb in a stealthy way as to not attract attention, it might let you know what is really going on in the world.

U.S. Army Pfc. Naser Jason Abdo, the man accused of planning a deadly bombing and shooting on Fort Hood soldiers, and who yelled out the name of accused Fort Hood killer Maj. Nidal Hasan during a court hearing on Friday, could spend 10 years in prison and be fined $250,000 if convicted of the plot.
The AWOL soldier was charged in a Texas court on Friday on suspicion of possession of an unregistered destructive device, according to the Los Angeles Times. He was also defiant during his first court appearance and refused to stand when he was asked to.
"Nidal Hasan - Ft. Hood 2009!" Abdo said of his fellow Army comrade and Muslim charged with killing 13 people at the base nearly two years ago.
USA Today has reported that federal investigators searched Abdo's Killeen, Texas motel room and found bomb-making equipment, including six bottles of smokeless gunpowder, shotgun shells, two clocks, spools of wire, an electric drill, two pressure cookers and an article titled "How to Build a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom."

Mexico homicides rose 23 percent in 2010
24,374 murders in Mexico last year according to the Somewhat official number, the number is probably higher; Mexico suffers from serious under reporting of incidents and how things really happen south of our border.
24,374 + 19,000 = 43,374, gee, that is a lot more than the 35,000 overall since 2006 that they keep saying, a safe bet to say well over 50,000 have been murdered in the 4 or 5 years of drug wars in Mexico.
I can't wait for the 2011 report.

MEXICO CITY (AP) - The number of homicides in Mexico rose by nearly a quarter in 2010 compared to the year before as the drug war intensified across the country, Mexican statisticians said Thursday.
The National Institute of Statistics and Geography recorded 24,374 homicides over the course of last year, a 23 percent increase from 19,803 in 2009. Last year's figure represented 22 killings for every 100,000 residents in the country.
Many but not all of the homicides were committed by organized crime organizations, the institute told The Associated Press.
Violence has risen in many Mexican regions as a result of drug trafficking and other organized criminal activity. President Felipe Calderon's office has said that more than 15,000
According to the statistics institute, the U.S.-bordering state of Chihuahua saw the highest number of homicides with 4,747. Sinaloa, in northwestern Mexico, registered 2,505.

Eleven people killed in firing incident in Quetta
Extreme Muslim Violence everyday.
Just think of what happens in Muslim countries that we never hear about.
And Karachi Violence still on a roll.

QUETTA: Gunmen opened fire on a vehicle in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on Saturday, killing people and wounding three, police said.
A woman was also among the dead in the attack in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, where pro-Taliban militants and Baloch separatists are blamed for years of violence. The province shares border with Iran and Afghanistan.
“The vehicle was passing by a bus stand when gunmen riding in another car opened fire, killing at least 11 people and wounding three,” city’s police chief Hamid Shakeel told Reuters.
Saturday’s attack came a day after eight people were killed and about 25 wounded in two separate bomb and gun attacks in two districts of Balochistan.
Baloch nationalists have waged a low-scale insurgency for decades but Taliban militants with links to al Qaeda have also been active in Balochistan, the largest but poorest of Pakistan’s four provinces,

Iraq Deadlier Now Than a Year Ago
To expect a bunch of savages to be civil to each other let alone to a foreign military is beyond comprehension, and a mistake.
You can not change these peoples minds, we give them peace and stability and all they want is death and destruction of their fellow neighbors because they are a different religious sect or from a different town.
The Shiites do not like the Sunnis, the Sunnis do not like the Shiites, they both hate the Kurds the Kurds hate both of them.
This is a good reason to pull out of these Muslim countries immediately after our missions are complete, and let them continue to kill each other off.
It is the Islamic way.

BAGHDAD – Frequent bombings, assassinations and a resurgence in violence by Shiite militias have made Iraq more dangerous now than it was just a year ago, a U.S. government watchdog concludes in a report released Saturday.
The findings come during what U.S. Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction Stuart W. Bowen Jr. called "a summer of uncertainty" in Baghdad over whether American forces will stay past a year-end withdrawal deadline and continue military aid for the unstable nation.
"Iraq remains an extraordinarily dangerous place to work," Bowen concluded in his 172-page quarterly report to Congress and the Obama administration on progress -- and setbacks -- in Iraq. "It is less safe, in my judgment, than 12 months ago."
The report cited the deaths of 15 U.S. soldiers in June, the bloodiest month for the U.S. military in Iraq in two years. Nearly all of them were killed in attacks by Shiite militias bent on forcing out American troops on schedule.
It also noted an increase in rockets launched against the heavily fortified Green Zone in Baghdad, where government offices and foreign embassies are located, as well as constant assassination attempts against Iraqi political leaders, security forces and judges.
Additionally, the report called the northeastern province of Diyala, which borders Iran and has an often volatile mix of Sunni and Shiite Muslims and Kurds among its residents, "very unstable" with frequent bombings that bring double-digit death tolls.

Border agents patrol the Borders.
Illegal Immigrants from Mexico are the main source of illegal immigration.
Mexicans, come from Mexico.
Border agents tend to look at Mexicans when they are doing their job, More than they would look at me, A Caucasian American.
While working in Texas for two years, I did a lot of site seeing everywhere you go in El Paso beyond the city is a border patrol check station, I was asked the same line of questions as Mr.Arguellas Jr. and at times made to feel like a criminal; the border agents where doing their jobs in both cases.
No offense Mr. Arguellas, but blame your people flooding into the U.S. illegally for this situation, the Border agents where doing their job, And think for a second... how does a border agent find illegal aliens from Mexico without looking at Mexicans.
Detroit Free Press
On a sunny afternoon last month, Francisco Arguelles Jr. was fishing for silver bass along the Detroit River near Jefferson when a Border Patrol agent pulled up.
About 50 other people were around him, but Arguelles said the agent came straight to him and his brother -- the only Latinos there. The agent asked for identification, then started peppering the U.S. citizens with questions: Where are you from? When was the last time you were in Mexico? How do I know you're not an immigrant?
Arguelles, 28, said he told the agent, "I was born in Detroit."
But soon, four more agents arrived. They eventually left, but the Detroit brothers said they were shook up -- two of a growing number of metro Detroit Latinos who accuse federal agents of racial profiling.

Self-defense OK’d for Kosovo peacekeepers
So nice of NATO to let the peacekeepers defend themselves, it is much better than having them killed.
A no brainer to me but apparently NATO goes into places of unrest which usually involve gunfire and firebombs, and they do not have the permission to at the very least to defend themselves?
What the hell is the world coming to?
Boston.com
PRISTINA, Kosovo - American and French peacekeepers were told yesterday to fire their weapons in defense if attacked at border posts on Kosovo’s northern boundary with Serbia, a day after the crossings were set ablaze by Serbs armed with firebombs, a NATO spokesman said.
There have been days of mounting tension between ethnic Albanians and minority Serbs after Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci ordered special police units to take over two disputed border posts that were previously manned by Serb members of the police under EU supervision.
One Kosovo policeman died in the operation.
“We are in command of those places,’’ NATO spokesman Captain Hans Wichter said. “If we are threatened, we have the right to use weapons.’’ He said the area was “declared a military zone,’’ meaning the alliance makes all decisions related to security.
NATO troops were attacked late Wednesday by machine guns and antitank rockets as they moved to secure the border posts, the top NATO commander in Kosovo, Major General Erhard Buehler, said. No injures were reported. They took control of the border posts yesterday.

Libyan rebels' military chief of staff slain
Ah the way of Islam, just kill your opponents.
yeah I know it is war and this is what happens but it appears he was killed while under arrest, and the arrest was a little suspicious also.
I think it would be best to pull NATO out of Libya and let all the jackasses kill each other off, it is what they seem to want.
The Los Angeles
The chief of staff for rebel forces fighting to overthrow Libyan leader Moammar Kadafi was attacked and killed Thursday, according to the rebels' leadership council.
In a terse announcement that left many questions unanswered, the president of the council said Gen. Abdul Fatah Younis and two other commanders were killed as they returned from the eastern front near Port Brega to Benghazi, the de facto rebel capital.
The Associated Press quoted a rebel military spokesman as saying rebel security officers had arrested Younis and two aides early Thursday at their operations room on the eastern front. The website of the Arab satellite channel Al Jazeera also reported that Younis had been arrested by the rebel council Thursday morning.
If Younis was indeed arrested, it raises the possibility that he was assassinated by rebel fighters.

AWOL soldier held for alleged Fort Hood plot
Here we go again, another Muslim Reject who decided to join the Military only to plot against it in the name of Islam.
A good reason to not let Muslims into our Military, but then again some Muslims have been a great help in our efforts.
So what do you do? the first thought in my mind is to put a bullet in their heads right away just to let them know where we stand on this subject.

An AWOL soldier was arrested in Texas near Fort Hood after authorities found potential bomb-making materials and at least one gun in the suspect's motel room, a federal law enforcment official said.
Investigators said they believe the suspect was planning an attack on fellow soldiers near the military post, where an Army psychiatrist was charged two years earlier in the slayings of 13 people, said the federal law enforcement official, who was briefed on the matter, but not authorized to speak publicly.
Authorities were alerted to the suspect, identified as Pfc. Naser Abdo, 21, stationed at Fort Campbell in Kentucky, after he visited the same Killeen gun store where Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan obtained a gun prior to the 2009 attack, said the official.
Greg Ebert, a former police officer who works at the Guns Galore shop, said Abdo acted suspiciously when he went to the store Tuesday afternoon to buy six pounds of gun powder.

'Trojan' asteroid shares Earth's orbit
Amazing things are always found in space, not that asteroids are just amazing; but finding one in the same orbit as Earth in 2011, thats amazing.
With all the technology floating out in space, 2010 TK7 (the new Asteroids official name) is only just discovered.
AFP
PARIS — Earth is not alone in its orbit around the Sun - a small 'Trojan' asteroid sits in front of our planet and leads it, according to British science revue Nature, which published the discovery Thursday.
This diminutive asteroid has a diameter of just 300 metres but is called a Trojan because of its particular position in a stable spot either in front of a planet or behind it. Because the asteroid and planet are constantly on the same orbit, they can never collide.
Jupiter, Mars and Neptune also have Trojan asteroids accompanying them, as do two of Saturn's moons.
NASA scientists discovered the asteroid, which lies 80 million kilometres (50 million miles) from Earth, using its Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) telescope.
Astronomers have long thought that Earth did have some Trojans but their discovery has proved elusive because of the difficulty of seeing them in daylight.

Fighting in Mogadishu amid aid delivery
The Fighting has not spread to where the aid is being delivered...Yet.
But Al Shabab will continue to wreak terror among the people in other places because of the aid.
Give them time.
Foxnews
Heavy fighting has broken out in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, a day after the UN World Food Programme airlifted in its first famine emergency aid.
At least four people are reported to have been killed as government forces, backed by African Union troops, attacked Islamist insurgents.
The BBC's Mohammed Dhore in Mogadishu says the clashes are in northern areas and unlikely to affect the aid effort.
Thousands have arrived into government-controlled suburbs in search of food.
Correspondents say if the pro-government forces manage to gain more ground this could enable aid agencies to increase the areas where they can deliver food aid to victims of the severe drought.
The WFP delivery is the first airlift of food aid since the UN declared a famine in two southern areas of Somalia last week.
Al-Shabab, the al-Qaeda linked group which controls much of Somalia, has banned the WFP from its areas.

Report Shows Terror Recruitment in U.S. Still a Problem
Rep Peter King is the Man.
He is taking no shit from anyone about these hearings, he just keeps pushing forward despite the B.S. from the Left and the MSM.
A clueless Rep Bennie Thompson says Shabaab is an issue, he downplays its importance and says other types of terror should be focused on as well.
"The threat of Al Shabaab radicalizing young Americans is a problem we can constructively address," Thompson said in a statement before the hearing. "Today marks the third time that this committee has taken up alleged links between terrorism and the American Muslim community. Before these hearings began, I requested that their focus be broadened to include a look at the real and present threat of domestic violent extremism. Those requests were rebuffed."
If Al Shabab recruits from the U.S. and takes these guys under their wings in Somalia only to return them when their training is done... would that not be a real and present threat of Domestic Violent Extremism ?
Call me Stupid, but I think it is.

A new report released by Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee shows there's still a threat of Americans being recruited by Somali terror group and Al Qaeda ally Al Shabaab for the purpose of carrying out attacks in the U.S.
Committee chairman Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y. held a hearing Wednesday on Al Shabaab recruiting in America. It was the third in a series of controversial "Muslim radicalization" hearings King has called.
"The key finding is that there is a looming danger of American Shabaab fighters returning to the U.S. to strike or helping Al Qaeda and its affiliates attack the homeland," the report reads. "U.S. intelligence underestimated the Pakistani Taliban and Al Qaeda in Yemen's capability of launching attacks here; we cannot afford to make the same mistake with Shabaab."
The report says at least 40 Americans have joined the terror group and 15 have been killed fighting for them. It also says 21 American Shabaab members are unaccounted for and that they pose a threat to U.S. security.
Many Democrats have bemoaned King's series of radicalization hearings, and while the ranking member of the committee Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., says Shabaab is an issue, he downplays its importance and says other types of terror should be focused on as well.

Abdel Basset al-Megrahi, who returned to a hero's welcome in Libya in 2009 after being released from a Scottish jail after being diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer, appeared on Libyan state television wearing traditional local garb while sitting in a wheelchair at a tribal meeting in Tripoli.

The Taliban Loves Kids.
Yep, they love them for suicide bombers, as pawns to hang to prove a point to a father, to test new fangled soda bottle bombs.
Michael Yon has been all over the Taliban and the use of kids for their nastiness, most all MSM are not, substituting the word strangled for Hanged makes a bit of difference when you are talking about the brutality of a people.

Apparently, according to Afghans, the Taliban may have been testing a new bomb made from a soda bottle. The boy’s name is Jalil, and our people estimate that Jalil is 6 to 8-years-old. Jalil was picking grapes with his brother when the Taliban, according to reporting, told the boy to step on the bomb. It blew off his right leg below the knee, leaving hamburger on the stump, and fractured his femur. Afghans brought Jalil to the nearby American base called COP Kolk, where 4-4CAV Soldiers treated him. A helicopter took Jalil and his father to Kandahar Airfield for advanced treatment.

Somali Extremist Group Bans Samosas in Country
So Al Shabab says you can't have your favorite pastry do to the fact that it has three sides and it may make you think of the holy trinity...
What gene are Islamists missing? Seriously, they must be missing something.
Maybe it is all that Inbreeding in Islam.

A powerful Muslim extremist group in Somalia banned samosas in the country because their three sides may remind people of the Christian Holy Trinity.
Members of Al-Shabaab recently boarded trucks with loudspeakers and announced that the popular pastries are banned in the country, UPI reported. The group did not fully explain its decision to ban the snack that is often filled with minced meats and vegetables, but witnesses told a local paper that their ubiquitous three-cornered shape may invoke thoughts on the Holy Trinity, according to the report.
The Islamic militant group, which controls wide swaths of the country, bans music and watching sports on TV.

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: A Taliban group in Pakistan on Tuesday burned a huge quantity of cloth taken from shopkeepers, saying it was too thin to be made into suitably modest garments, officials said.
The Islamist extremists stormed shops in Wana, the main town of the lawless South Waziristan tribal region, which borders Afghanistan, and made a bonfire of the cloth in a public area near the bazaar.
Shopkeeper Rahimullah Khan told AFP that at least eight armed men burst into his premises and took away bundles of raw cloth that they said was too thin to make respectable clothing.

Norway's 21-Year Maximum Penalty Sparks Outcry After Terror Attacks That Killed 76
"People like that shouldn't be able to get out among normal people,"
"If he gets 21 years, how old will he be? 53! No, he's ruined too much to ever get out."
Correct, and this is why he should just be eliminated from the living.
Justice is harder and harder to find in the world, even in the U.S., things are way out of Balance. A killer should never be able to walk from his or Her Crime.
Foxnews
Friday's twin attacks in Norway that killed 76 people have sparked growing outcry at the country's penal code, under which even the man now accused in the mass killings would face a maximum penalty of only 21 years in prison if convicted.
If found guilty in the massacre and given that maximum sentence, Anders Behrin Breivik, 32, would serve roughly 100 days in prison per killing.
"So many innocent people have been killed that I think he doesn't have the right to live," Mari Kaugerud wrote on her Facebook group "Yes to the death penalty for Anders Behring Breivik," which already has 1,783 members, the AFP reports.
Dozens of similar groups have sprung up since Friday's killings, some calling for the death penalty, others for life in prison.
"People like that shouldn't be able to get out among normal people," a 31-year-old Iranian-born shopkeeper identified only as Mustafa told AFP. "If he gets 21 years, how old will he be? 53! No, he's ruined too much to ever get out."
Afghanistan violence kills 35, mostly insurgents
Yep, Violence is increasing; so we might as well pull some troops out of the field, That will help out!
AJC
Afghan and NATO forces said Tuesday that 35 people — most of them insurgenhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifts — have been killed in escalating violence as the Taliban try to regain territory lost during the winter months to the U.S.-led coalition.
There has been fierce fighting around Afghanistan, but most has been focused in the southwestern Helmand province and other parts of the southern Taliban heartland. Violence has increased since the insurgents launched an offensive last April.
The office of Helmand Gov. Gulab Mangal said that two separate clashes on Monday left a total of 22 insurgents and two police officers dead. The governor's office also said two young boys were killed as they stepped on a roadside bomb in Helmand.
The provincial capital, Lashkar Gah, was one of seven areas where the coalition last week handed over responsibility for security to Afghan forces. The handover was part of a transition plan that eventually will give the Afghan government control of security around the country by the end of 2014, when foreign combat troops are to leave Afghanistan.

Students illegally in California to get increased access to higher education
Whats My Issue ?
Being a current Student myself and a former resident of San Diego, a lot.
For the first few semesters of school I had to pay out of my own pocket, I was not eligible for a student loan or any other financial aid !
it was not till I lost my job and had a significant lower income that I was able to receive a student loan, No Grants, no free ride here, I must pay back my loan !
California Gov Jerry Brown, feels it is necessary to afford Illegal aliens (People who are not even residents in this country) every break possible when it comes to an Education.
While residents (People who are here legally, Born and raised by legal parents) Must still get their education the Hard way, Student loans and out of pocket monies.
If you are not a resident of a State, you pay more in tuition, in some cases if you are not a resident of the same county as the school you pay more in tuition, why the hell should anyone not even a legal resident of this country get a free ride ?
To me that is a little backwards, the spin of fairness is not so fair when you are discriminating against another people, Especially the people who pay the Taxes in this country and the people who pay that Jackass of a Gov Jerry Browns Payroll !
It is sad to see Americans thrown under the bus while America is Handed over to another country that can't even take care of its own !
Imperial Valley Press
Undocumented students’ access to higher education increased Monday as Gov. Jerry Brown signed part of the California DREAM Act into legislation.
Brown signed AB130, which allows college students that illegally entered the U.S. to receive privately funded scholarships/financial aid. DREAM is an acronym for Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors.
Bill author Assemblyman Gilbert Cedillo, D-Los Angles, was in attendance at the signing during a DREAM Act Town Hall at Los Angeles City College.
“Public education is the lifeblood of our democracy,” Cedillo said. “Public education in this great state and this great nation is the equalizer of our society.”
The legislation primarily applies to AB540 students who are from out of the state or country, graduated from a California high school and attended it for at least three years.
Brown cited California’s rising population and that 50 percent of babies born in California are born into low-income situations as reasons to invest in more educational opportunities.
“Today, signing this DREAM Act is another piece of investment in people, because people are what drive the culture, the economy, the state and our country,” Brown said.

Norway Prepares for Court Appearance by Suspect in Attacks
Anders Breivik, Douchebag extraordinare.
This guy is so stuck on himself it is ridiculous, he would like to wear a uniform at his hearing that he wants to be public, he copied the Unabombers manifesto as his own and added some major drivel over the top of it, He believes he is the Ultimate religious warrior - a Knight.
Unfortunately Norway does not have a death penalty, so this waste of a human being will be able to sit out the rest of his life in prison.
Lets hope Norway is at least smart enough to keep this whole trial out of the spotlot so as not to give Anders his soap box.
The New York Times
After a day of remembrance and self-examination for Norway, a small country shaken by the massacre of at least 93 of its people by one of its own, the nation braced on Monday for the first court appearance for the 32-year-old man who says he carried out the twin attacks that killed them...
Anders Behring Breivik, 32, the only suspect arrested, admits to the shootings on Friday on the island of Utoya and the fatal bombing of government offices in Oslo on the same day, his lawyer, Geir Lippestad, has told Norwegian news media. But he rejects “criminal responsibility.” Mr. Lippestad said that Mr. Breivik insists that he acted alone, and alone wrote a mammoth manifesto — rambling from a hostile historical look at Islam to recipes (and price lists) for bomb manufacture to his family’s pressure on him to date...
According to his lawyer, Mr. Breivik has requested to appear in some kind of a uniform during the hearing — the exact kind was not known — apparently seeking a global platform for his right-wing views.
Mr. Breivik also clearly wants to leave a legacy and thinks he will create some kind of mass following, said Tore Bjorgo, one of Norway’s most respected scholars of right-wing extremism. “He had this strange idea that he will provoke a mass following, despite the violence, which is why I put it in a Christian frame,” said Mr. Bjorgo, a professor at the Norwegian Police University College.

Gunbattle in Afghanistan leaves 80 militants dead
Hell Yeah !
This is what I'm talking about, rise up and annihilate these bastards.
Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- At least 80 militants were killed in a series of operations involving Afghan and NATO forces during a day-long firefight last week in the country's restive southeast, Paktika provincial governor Mukhlas Afghan said Sunday.
NATO said it could only confirm 50 insurgents were killed in the fight.
The operation, which began Wednesday and spanned the night into Thursday, was fought in an "known Haqqani network" area.
The Haqqani network is an insurgent group loosely affiliated with the Taliban and is believed to be based in Pakistan's lawless frontier territories.

Deadly car bomb in south Yemen port of Aden
One day the people that are held Hostage by groups like Al Qaida and there terrorism will rise up and annihilate them; wiping them off the face of the Earth.
Until then, there will be Death, Destruction, Turmoil and Mayhem!
Islamic Countries... Enjoy.
Al Jazeera
A car bomb targeting a military facility has killed at least six people and wounded 15 in Aden, the main city in southern Yemen, medics and soldiers have said.
Soldiers reported to the news agency AFP, that the blast went off as troops prepared to leave the facility for Abyan province, where security forces are engaged in fierce fighting with groups suspected of ties to al-Qaeda.
"We were preparing to leave for Abyan when a car came in front of the gate of the camp, and then there was a huge explosion," said one soldier who survived Sunday's attack.
Two senior officers, a major and a lieutenant-colonel, were among the dead, said officials.
The car bomb was the second in less than two months in Aden and followed repeated warnings by officials that al-Qaeda-linked fighters were infiltrating the Arabian Sea port city to prepare for attacks there against security forces.

Advertise on NYTimes.com NASA Picks Rover Destination: Mountain on Mars
At least we will have this, at least for now.
NASA would like to continue with space exploration, aside from this they have also announced plans to put Astronauts on a Asteroid.
Funding, of course, stands to be cut from the NASA Budget leaving us with nothing to pay attention to in space.
The New York Times
NASA’s next Mars rover — the ambitious, beleaguered, delayed Mars Science Laboratory finally has a destination.
Mission scientists announced Friday that the rover, a nuclear-powered vehicle the size of a small S.U.V., would head to Gale Crater, a 96-mile-wide depression near the Martian equator. What attracted them there is a mountain that rises upward nearly three miles at the center, making it taller, for example, than Mount Rainier outside Seattle.
“The thing about this mountain is it’s not a tall spire,” John P. Grotzinger, the project scientist, said at a news conference at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington. “It’s a broad, low, moundlike shape. What it means is we can drive up it with a rover. So this might be the tallest mountain anywhere in the solar system that we could actually climb with a rover.”

Largest Reservoir of Water Discovered in Space
Sounds like a good place for a swim !
International Business Timeshttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
Astromomers found a reservoir of water in space that measures 140 trillion times the earth's ocean water.
It is also the farthest reservoir of water ever discovered in the universe, according to two teams of researchers.
The water surrounds a huge, feeding black hole called a "quasar" more than 12 billion light-years away. The quasar is powered by a giant black hole which gradually consumes a surrounding disk of gas and dust, while spewing out enormous amounts of energy.
Astronomers studied a quasar called APM 08279+5255, where the black hole is 20 billion times greater than the sun. They discovered water vapor distributed around the black holestretching out to hundreds of light-years in size.

Cern scientists suspect glimpse of Higgs boson
Getting Closer.
This will be big when they can finally confirm it.
Guardian.co.uk
Scientists may have caught their first glimpse of the elusive Higgs boson, which is thought to give mass to the basic building blocks of nature.
Researchers at the Large Hadron Collider at Cern, the European particle physics lab near Geneva, announced the findings at a conference on Friday.
The world's most powerful atom smasher hunts for signs of new physics by slamming subatomic particles together at nearly the speed of light in an 18-mile round tunnel beneath the French-Swiss border.
Speaking at the meeting, teams working on two of the collider's huge detectors, Atlas and CMS, independently reported unusual bumps in their data that could be the first hints of the particle.
Physicists stressed that it was too early to know whether the signals were due to the missing particle.
Bumps that look like new discoveries can be caused by statistical fluctuations in data, flaws in computer models and other glitches, they said.

UN fears crimes against humanity in Syria
This is not the first time the U.N. ( useless nitwits ) have said this in recent weeks, if it is not obvious to the U.N. then they are truly out of touch.
When a Government kills it's people for protesting, it is a human rights violation !
Plain and simple.
What will the U.N. Do... Nothing.
Full fledged Genocide will have to occur before the U.N. will even try and intervene in any way.
Islam, The religion of getting a pass by the U.N.
AFP
DAMASCUS — UN officials have said Syrian security forces may have committed crimes against humanity in their crackdown on protesters, as at least eight more civilians were killed in massive protests against President Bashar al-Assad's rule.
The UN concerns were expressed in a statement late Friday by Francis Deng, special adviser to Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on the prevention of genocide, and Edward Luck, the special adviser on the responsibility to protect.
"Based on available information, the special advisers consider that the scale and gravity of the violations indicate a serious possibility that crimes against humanity may have been committed and continue to be committed in Syria," the joint statement said.
The two called for an "independent, thorough, and objective investigation" of the events in Syria.
They echoed calls by Ban to the Syrian government to allow humanitarian access to areas affected by the unrest and to facilitate the visit of the UN Human Rights Council-mandated fact-finding mission to the country.
"Without these steps, it will be very difficult to defuse existing tensions and to prevent the escalation of violence," they said.
"All actors involved in the current crisis in Syria are urged to refrain from the use of force, from acts of violence, or from incitement to violence."
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says 1,483 civilians have been killed in four months of protests, and thousands more have been arrested.
When a Government kills it's people for protesting, it is a human rights violation !
Plain and simple.
What will the U.N. Do... Nothing.
Full fledged Genocide will have to occur before the U.N. will even try and intervene in any way.

Scores killed in Norway attacks
Norwegian media identified the man as Anders Behring Breivik, 32. Police charged him for the island massacre and the Oslo bomb blast.
Police said the man was answering questions and they described him as a right-wing Christian fundamentalist.
So, right wing Christian fundamentalists?
Religion is always to blame in attacks like this, it makes you crazy having to hear about these kind of attacks; usually we are used to hearing that it was Islamic extremists, but now Christian Fundamentalists.
BBC
Norway was hit by twin attacks on Friday that left the nation in profound shock. A massive bomb blast shattered buildings in the capital Oslo, killing at least seven people. Then a gunman rampaged through a youth camp run by the ruling Labour Party, killing 84 people. How did the events unfold?
A massive blast shook the centre of Oslo at around 1526 (1326 GMT), blowing out the windows of the prime minister's offices and damaging the finance and oil ministries.
The boom could be heard across the city. The area targeted is the heart of the Labour Party government.
Witnesses described a scene like a war zone, with people walking dazed through streets strewn with rubble. A huge dust cloud enveloped the city centre as police cordoned off the area and evacuated buildings.
Ambulances rushed dozens of injured to hospital and at least seven people were killed in the blast. Hours later teams were still searching the damaged buildings for any more victims.

Al-Shabab says aid group ban remains in place
A shortage of rain =a shortage of food, but to members of Al Shabab do not see it that way.
So it is O.K. for the people of Somalia to starve and dehydrate, it is the Islamic way.
Islam and Al Shabab, the religion and people of ignorant rejects who would rather see their people die than receive help.
Al Jazeera
Two weeks after al-Shabab said a ban on certain aid groups working in Somalia would be lifted, the Islamist rebel movement has announced that the ban remains in place, the AFP news agency has said.
The group also rejected a United Nations declaration that parts of the country had been hit by the worst famine seen in the area for 20 years.
Al Shabab, which controls parts of the affected region, accused the UN of exaggerating the severity of the drought and using it as propaganda.
"Those earlier banned groups are not welcome to serve in our area of control," al-Shabab spokesperson Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rage said in a broadcast on the Islamist Al Furqaan radio on Friday.
"There is drought in Somalia but not famine - what is declared by the UN is 100 per cent false."
"The declaration of famine is political and is a lie with hidden agendas," he added, saying only that there is "a shortage of rain".
The UN's World Food Programme (WFP), one of the aid groups banned by al- Shabab, said on Friday that it would fly aid into the capital "within days".
Somalia is the worst affected country in the drought-hit Horn of Africa region, where the UN says that more than 3.7 million people are at risk of starvation.

What should be the Name of Pluto’s Fourth Moon?
Amazing after all these years and with the phenomenal telescopes that have been built in the years since Pluto was discovered, they discover a new moon.
International Business Times
Astronomers have discovered a fourth moon orbiting the distant planet of Pluto using the Hubble Space Telescope. The latest discovery has been temporarily named P4 and joins the planet's other three satellites; Charon, Nix and Hydra.
The finding has been the result of the ongoing work supporting NASA's New Horizons mission which is scheduled to fly through the Pluto system in 2015.
"I find it remarkable that Hubble's cameras enabled us to see such a tiny object so clearly from a distance of more than 3 billion miles (5 billion km)," stated Mark Showalter of the SETI Institute in Mountain View, Calif., who led this observing program with Hubble.
Although P4 is the temporary designation of Pluto's new satellite, astronomers and space researchers have been dwelling on all possible names for the fourth moon.

Texas executes 9/11 'revenge' killer
This is what every terrorist should be subject too.
Foxnews
A man who embarked on a shooting spree in what he claimed was retaliation for 9/11 has been executed at a prison in Texas.
The lone survivor of Mark Stroman's attack on convenience store workers in late 2001, Rais Bhuiyan, originally from Bangladesh, unsuccessfully sued to stop the execution, saying his religious beliefs as a Muslim required him to forgive the man. The courts denied his request.
Stroman, 41, had said hate in the world needed to end and asked for God's grace shortly before the fatal drugs began flowing into his arms. He was pronounced dead less than an hour after his final court appeal was rejected.
Stroman claimed the shooting spree that killed two men and injured a third targeted people from the Middle East, though all three victims were from south Asia. It was the death of 49-year-old Vasudev Patel, from India, that put Stroman on death row. He was also charged but not tried in the shooting death of Waqar Hasan, 46, a Pakistani immigrant who moved to Dallas in 2001 to open a convenience store.
Stroman's execution was the eighth this year in Texas. At least eight other inmates have execution dates in the coming weeks.

16 Suspected 'Anonymous' Hackers Arrested in Nationwide Sweep
Wait for it...
The flood of attacks that will follow.
Foxnewshttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
Sixteen suspected members of "Anonymous" were arrested this morning in states across the country, from California to New York, in a federal raid on the notorious hacking group.
The arrests Tuesday, first reported by FoxNews.com, are part of an ongoing investigation into Anonymous, which has claimed responsibility for numerous cyberattacks against a variety of websites, including Visa and Mastercard.
The Department of Justice, in announcing the arrests and more than 35 search warrants in the case, said the case stemmed from an alleged cybertattack on the website PayPal over its action against controversial group WikiLeaks, one of the inspirations for the hacker group Anonymous.
Fourteen of the arrests were identified in the same indictment out of California, while two separate criminal complaints filed out of courts in Newark, N.J., and Tampa, Fla., name the two other alleged hackers. All are believed to have been involved in carrying out nationwide coordinated distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks on multiple high-profile, billion-dollar companies.

F.B.I. Arrests Man Said to Be a Front for Donations
“Mr. Fai is accused of a decades-long scheme with one purpose — to hide Pakistan’s involvement behind his efforts to influence the U.S. government’s position on Kashmir,”
“His handlers in Pakistan allegedly funneled millions through the Kashmir Center to contribute to U.S. elected officials, fund high-profile conferences, and pay for other efforts that promoted the Kashmiri cause to decision-makers in Washington.”
Surprised?
Not me, this is the part of politics that make you want to go Rice Krispies on everyone in Washington.
As we are told to sacrifice, these Fuksticks play games for money to line their already fat pockets with!
Honestly, all those involved should be arrested and thrown in jail for treason, it is game playing like this that has literally Fucked the United States all to Hell.
The New York Times
WASHINGTON — The Justice Department said that the government of Pakistan, including elements of its intelligence service, has been secretly funneling campaign contributions for years to members of Congress, presidential campaigns, and federal campaign committees, often through an activist working on Kashmiri issues who was arrested by the F.B.I. on Tuesday.
In court documents, prosecutors accused the arrested man — Syed Ghulam Nabi Fai, 62, a United States citizen from Virginia — of conspiring to act as an unregistered agent of the government of Pakistan. He is the director of the Kashmiri American Council, a nongovernmental organization in Washington that is also called the Kashmir Center. Founded in 1990, the center issues press releases and seeks to persuade government officials to adopt foreign policies promoting the end of Indian rule in Kashmir, a region claimed by both India and Pakistan. Another man, Zaheer Ahmad was also charged in the alleged conspiracy, but he is believed to be in Pakistan, officials said.

Petraeus hands over Afghan war amid bloodshed
General Petraeus did a wonderful job in Afghanistan, General Allen has a tough road ahead of him; especially with Obama trying to hamper the progress by removing the much needed troops.
(AP)
KABUL, Afghanistan - Gen. John Allen took over command of American and coalition forces in Afghanistan on Monday from Gen. David Petraeus, assuming responsibility as Afghanistan's international allies draw up exit plans from the nearly 10-year conflict.
Allen said that the drawdown of U.S. forces that started earlier this month and the transition of some areas to Afghan control this week does not mean that international forces are easing up in their campaign to defeat the Taliban insurgency.
"It is my intention to maintain the momentum of the campaign," Allen said at the handover ceremony in the Afghan capital. He said however, that he does not expect the fight to be easy.
"There will be tough days ahead. I have no illusions about the challenges ahead," he said.
U.S. officials have trumpeted success in reclaiming Taliban strongholds in southern Afghanistan and training Afghan security forces as signs that they are finally making progress toward peace in Afghanistan. But violent attacks have continued, including a number of high-profile assaults and assassinations in recent weeks.
On Monday morning, a bomb killed three international service members in the east, NATO said in a statement. It did not provide nationalities or further details. Most of the troops in the east are American.

Dawn probe has date with asteroid
Unfortunately after the shuttle lands this will be the only space stuff we hear of.
not that it is not interesting or cool, it is just a step backwards for the space program.
BBC
The US space agency says its Dawn probe should now be in orbit around the asteroid Vesta.
The robotic satellite will be spending a year at the 530km-wide body before moving on to the "dwarf planet" Ceres.
New pictures on Dawn's approach to Vesta show the giant rock in unprecedented detail.
The asteroid looks like a punctured football, the result of a colossal collision sometime in its past that knocked off its south polar region.
Confirmation that Dawn is safely circling the rock should come on Sunday (GMT) when the probe is due to return data on its status.

Army Uncovers Mexico's Largest Marijuana Plantation
A 300 acre pot field, and nobody it was there?
Foxnews
Mexican soldiers found the largest marijuana plantation ever detected in Mexico, a huge field covering almost 300 acres, the Defense Department said Thursday.
The plantation is four times larger than the previous record discovery by authorities at a ranch in northern Chihuahua state in 1984.
The pot plants sheltered under black screen-cloth in a huge square on the floor of the Baja California desert, more than 150 miles south of Tijuana, across the border from San Diego.
Army Gen. Alfonso Duarte said the screening, which is often used by regular farmers to protect crops from too much sun or heat, made it difficult to detect from the air what was growing underneath.
It was only when soldiers on the ground reached the isolated area Tuesday that they found thousands of pot plants as high as 2.5 yards tall. The average height of the plants was about 1.5 yards. Duarte said they were not yet ready for harvest.

Pentagon Unveils New Cyber Strategy
The Pathetic thing is the pentagon along with the rest of the U.S Government are so far behind everyone else on Cyber security.
Why is China allowed to continually hack our Systems?
Why is their never any retaliation?
The U.S. Gov. needs to pull its head out of its collective ass when it comes to what is going on in Cyber space, playing catch up with China will not be fun or easy.
China actively seeks out the best hackers in china to breach our systems, we should at the least do the same.
(RTTNews) - The Pentagon on Thursday unveiled a new cyber strategy emphasizing mostly on defensive tactics and admitted that it had suffered a major hacking attack in March in which sensitive information was stolen from one of its defense contractors.
Announcing the new strategy in an address to the National Defense University in Washington, Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn said it was aimed at strengthening and defending U.S. military computer networks against future cyber attacks.
"In the 21st Century, bits and bytes can be as threatening as bullets and bombs. It is a significant concern that over the past decade terabytes of data have been extracted by foreign intruders from corporate networks of defense companies," Lynn said.
The new Pentagon cyber security strategy designates cyberspace as an "operational domain" like sea, air and land with the aim of preventing others from using it for hostile purposes targeting U.S. military interests.
Lynn, however, stressed that the Pentagon was "committed to protecting the peaceful use of cyberspace," and said: "Establishing robust cyber-defenses no more militarizes cyberspace than a Navy militarizes the ocean.
"Our strategy's overriding emphasis is on denying the benefit of an attack. If an attack will not have its intended effect, those who wish us harm will have less reason to target us through cyberspace in the first place.
"If there is massive damage, massive human losses, [or] significant economic damage, it would be in those circumstances that I think the President would consider all the tools that he has — economic, diplomatic and as a last resort, military," he added.

India blames Mumbai attack on terrorists
India blames Mumbai attack on terrorists
REALLY?
I thought maybe some non violent peace loving hippies did it.
Los Angeles imesT
India's home minister said Thursday that it was too early to blame any particular militant group or individual for the deadly blasts that struck Mumbai at rush hour a day earlier, but that the coordinated attack was the work of terrorists.
He also defended the intelligence services' record in the run-up to the three explosions, adding that they had no information that an attack was coming.
"Whoever planned this attack worked in a very, very clandestine manner," Palaniappan Chidambaram told reporters Thursday morning. "It's not a failure of intelligence."
The home minister also amended the casualty figures, saying 18 people had died rather than the 21 cited earlier by a top state official, with 131 hospitalized. Of the injured, 23 were seriously hurt, and some are in critical condition. A victim whose head was severed remains unidentified, Chidambaram said

UN: Afghan Civilian Deaths Up 15% In First Half Of 2011
Yep, Civilians are targeted more often than any other in Afghanistan, usually to teach someone else a lesson.
It's worse in Mexico, but Mexico is not the home of the Religion of Peace.
RTT news
A report released by the United nations on Thursday indicates that civilihttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifan deaths in war-torn Afghanistan have shot up to a record level in the first six months of the current year.
According to the report, at least 1,462 civilians were killed in Afghanistan during January-June, indicating a 15 per cent rise when compared to the same period last year. This implies that 2011 may be on track to become the deadliest year for Afghan civilians since the 2001 U.S.-led invasion of the country.
"The rising tide of violence and bloodshed in the first half of 2011 brought injury and death to Afghan civilians at levels without recorded precedent in the current armed conflict," United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said in its mid-year report.
"As the conflict intensified in the traditional fighting areas of the south and southeast and moved to districts in the west and north, civilians experienced a downward spiral in protection," it added.
Most of the civilian deaths occurred in insurgent attacks and in military operations conducted by the Afghan and international coalition forces stationed in the country. About 80 per cent of the civilian casualties were blamed on insurgent attacks, mostly those involving roadside bombs, suicide-bombings and improvised explosive devices (IED).
The report also held the international coalition forces under the joint command of the United States and NATO as well as the Afghan security forces for 14 per cent of the civilian deaths, indicating a drop of nine per cent from the previous year. It blamed most of the civilian deaths caused by NATO forces on air strikes.
It's worse in Mexico, but Mexico is not the home of the Religion of Peace.

Bomber Hits Ceremony for Karzai's Brother
Ah, Islam !
What other religion is there where you go to a funeral for a man that was just killed by radical Islamist reject, and see another radical Islamic reject set off his turban bomb killing the Cleric of the Second biggest Mosque in Afghanistan.
Islam the religion of extreme Violence.
The Wall Street Journal
KABUL—A bomb blast ripped through a historic mosque in Kandahar, Afghanistan, on Thursday, killing the city's top Islamic cleric during a mourning ceremony for President Hamid Karzai's slain half-brother Ahmed Wali Karzai.
A suicide bomber slipped into the Red Mosque in Kandahar, Afghanistan's second largest city, detonating explosives concealed in his turban at about 12:15 p.m., witnesses and Afghan officials said. The blast killed Maulavi Hekmatullah Hekmat, the head of the Kandahar Ulema Council, the supreme government religious authority in the volatile southern province, and at least two other people.
At the time of the explosion, the mosque was filled with tribal leaders and government officials mourning Ahmed Wali Karzai, the provincial council chief who was assassinated on Tuesday by a security aide. Some 13 people inside the mosque were injured by the explosion, said Sediq Seddiqi, the Interior Ministry spokesman.

Mumbai blasts prompt further questions over Indian intelligence
"It is very difficult to stop every single terror attack," Gandhi added. "We've improved in leaps and bounds, but terrorism is something that is also increasing in leaps and bounds."
Very true, Imagine how hard it would be to stop a lone suicide bomber that never says anything about what he is about to do, or even a group of the rejects.
The Terrorists are suspected to be a radical Muslim group, no surprise there, some homegrown terrorists.
Guardian.co.uk
Cities across India are on high alert as the government came under mounting criticism for its repeated failures to detect terrorist attacks, following the blitz on Mumbai in which 18 people were killed.
As a monsoon drizzle swept Mumbai, the casualty figure from the three bomb explosions on Wednesday was revised downwards by the home minister, P Chidambaram, on a visit to the affected districts, despite the gruesome discovery of a severed head on Thursday morning.
"The discovery of the severed head takes the number of killed to 18 [reduced from the earlier official figure of 21 dead], while the number of injured stands at 131," Chidambaram said.
"It appears that ammonium nitrate was used in the bombs, with a timer mechanism. The three blasts occurred within 10 minutes of each other, which shows it was a co-ordinated terrorist attack."
He added that of the 131 injured, 26 have been discharged from hospital, 82 are in a stable condition, while 23 are critical.

With smiles on their faces, these young boys could be playing soldiers with their friends.
But the youngsters are in fact helping rebel fighters in Libya to overcome Colonel Gaddafi's troops as the bitter civil war rumbles on.
Boys as young as seven have been pictured carrying automatic weapons and cleaning rifles in Misrata as rebel forces battle loyalist troops in the outskirts of Zlitan.
Although they do not appear to have been involved on the front line, the boys are clearly being trained to operate the weapons.

Violence surrounds Wali Karzai's funeral
I do not know what the big deal is, isn't violence and bombings normal at a Muslim Funeral?
Al Jizeera
Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president, has led mourners at the funeral of Ahmed Wali Karzai, his influential younger half-brother, who was assassinated on Tuesday in Kandahar by a member of his own security team.
Thousands of people gathered on Wednesday morning amid tight security outside the provincial governor's compound where Ahmed Wali's body was kept, with many more piling on to buses headed for the funeral procession to the family village of Karz, about 20km away.
Security forces formed a tight perimeter around the compound and helicopters could be seen circling overhead. Attacks preceeded and followed the funeral.
According to reports, Gulab Mangal, the Governor of Helmand province escaped an explosion near his car on the way to the funeral.
Al Jazeera correspondent Qais Azimy, reporting from Kabul, said: "The governor's spokesman confirmed that this morning when they were driving from Helmand to Kandahar, a roadside landmine, which was just 10 metres from the car, exploded. And two of the governor's bodyguards got injured."
Two explosions were heard in Kandahar city shortly after the funeral, reported Reuters news agency.
It was not immediately clear what caused these blasts, where they happened or whether there were any casualties.
Earlier reports suggested Karzai's elite security team had been deployed to secure the city for the funeral, that was postponed until Wednesday so family members could arrive.

Drone Update!
America, F**k yeah !
Good excuse for a BBQ !
Dawn.com
MIRAMSHAH: A volley of US missile strikes killed at least 25 militants after destroying their compounds in Pakistan’s tribal areas on the Afghan border.
Twin drone attacks hit militant strongholds in North and South Waziristan 12 hours apart, as the United States announced it was suspending more than a third of its annual military aid to Pakistan, bringing relations to a new low.
Early Tuesday, a US drone fired two missiles at a compound in South Waziristan’s Bushnarai area, a senior security official told AFP.
Several missile strikes have recently targeted hideouts in the area, considered a stronghold of Pakistani Taliban commander Mullah Nazir, he said.
Late Monday, at least 12 militants were killed when US drones fired four missiles on a compound and a vehicle in the Gorwaik area of Dattakhel town, in North Waziristan. Reports of up to 16 militants killed could not be confirmed.
“In last night’s drone strike, at least 12 militants were killed and six others were wounded, and in today’s strike the death toll has risen to 13. Two were wounded,” a security official told AFP Tuesday.
Intelligence officials in Miramshah, the capital of North Waziristan, said foreigners were among those killed in the second attack.
Pakistani officials use the term “foreigners” for Al Qaeda-linked Arab, Central Asians and other non-Pakistani fighters.

Afghan president's half brother killed
The president said his half brother's assassination reflects the suffering of all Afghan people.!
Much in the way that the citizens of Afghanistan are murdered from time to time by the same people if they to decide to speak out or stray from the norm !

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (AP) — Afghan President Hamid Karzai's powerful half brother, a lightning rod for criticism of all that is wrong with the Afghan government, was assassinated by a bodyguard Tuesday at his home in the southern province of Kandahar, officials said.
Ahmed Wali Karzai, who was head of the Kandahar provincial council, had become a political liability for the Karzai government after a series of allegations, including that he was on the CIA payroll and involved in drug trafficking. He denied the charges, and the president repeatedly defended him, denouncing accusations that his brother was involved in criminal activities in the restive south.
Ahmed Wali Karzai's death was confirmed by Zalmai Ayubi, the spokesman for Kandahar province, and Sediq Sediqqi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior. A member of Karzai's private security team killed him with an AK-47, according to a person who witnessed the killing. The individual declined to be identified.

Musharraf: US Suspension of Aid to Pakistan 'Disastrous'
TFB !
What is truly disastrous, is the fact that the Taliban Along with Al Qaida are such heros to many in Pakistan.
They keep blowing people up because they disagree with others views, yet they are praised as good Muslims.
Disastrous is the Pakistani ISI, aiding the Taliban in their quest for total dominance over everyone.
Disastrous is letting the Taliban have their way.
We as a country should not pay any money towards a terrorist coddling country.
VOA
Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf says he regrets the U.S. decision to stop $800 million in military aid to Pakistan.
Musharraf called the move "disastrous" on Monday, telling an audience at Rice University in Houston, Texas that the aid cut-off is not in the best interest of the United States because it will weaken Pakistan's ability to fight terrorism.
Earlier Monday, Pakistani military spokesman Major General Athar Abbas told VOA that reduced U.S. aid will not hamper operations against al-Qaida and Taliban militants. General Abbas said that defeating terrorism is in the interest of both countries, but he also warned that aid with conditions is unacceptable.
In Washington Monday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters "the suspension of some aid to Pakistan does not signal a shift in policy but underscores the fact that the partnership with Pakistan depends on cooperation."
Pentagon spokesman Colonel David Lapan said the "hold" on funds was directly tied to those decisions by the Pakistani military to expel American military trainers and put limits on visas for U.S. personnel.

Proposed Australian Law Would Make Muslim Women Lift Veil
And the Muslims in Australia will burst with violent anger if this law gets
passed.
It defies common sense, it is the smart thing to do, that is why Muslims are so upset.
You can't hide behind your religious beliefs and expect to be treated civilly.
But for some reason Muslims can't see that, they have no tolerance for common sense.
Islam the religion of Stupidity.
Foxnews
CANBERRA, Australia -- Muslim women would have to remove veils and show their faces to police on request or risk a prison sentence under proposed new laws in Australia's most populous state that have drawn criticism as culturally insensitive.
A vigorous debate that the proposal has triggered reflects the cultural clashes being ignited by the growing influx of Muslim immigrants and the unease that visible symbols of Islam are causing in predominantly white Christian Australia since 1973 when the government relaxed its immigration policy.
Under the law proposed by the government of New South Wales, which includes Sydney, a woman who defies police by refusing to remove her face veil could be sentenced to a year in prison and fined $5,900.
The bill -- to be voted on by the state parliament in August -- has been condemned by civil libertarians and many Muslims as an overreaction to a traffic offense case involving a Muslim woman driver in a "niqab," or a veil that reveals only the eyes.
The government says the law would require motorists and criminal suspects to remove any head coverings so that police can identify them.
Critics say the bill smacks of anti-Muslim bias given how few women in Australia wear burqas. In a population of 23 million, only about 400,000 Australians are Muslim. Community advocates estimate that fewer than 2,000 women wear face veils, and it is likely that even a smaller percentage drives.

U.S. Defeats Brazil in Dramatic Women's World Cup Game
Not a big soccer fan, but congratulations to the U.S. women's team on beating Brazil.
Two more games to go for them.
Good Luck.
Foxnews
DRESDEN, Germany -- An hour after the game, Abby Wambach was still at a loss for words.
Amazing. Riveting. Dramatic.
Take your pick, any one of them will do.
The Americans are into the semifinals after one of the most thrilling games in the history of the World Cup -- men's or women's -- beating Brazil 5-3 on penalty kicks after a 2-2 tie. Wambach tied it with a magnificent, leaping header in the 122nd minute, and goalkeeper Hope Solo denied the Brazilians again.
"I'm at a loss and I literally cannot believe what just happened," Wambach said. "But we've got two games left.

At least 11 killed in blast at Cyprus naval base
Five firefighters were among the 11 dead, who also included four members of the Greek Cypriot National Guard and two sailors, CNA said. State television said at least 12 people were killed.
A wildfire got a bit to close to some containers of Gunpowder seized from an Iranian Shipment that was headed to Syria Back in 2009.
98 containers contained Gun Powder.

ZYGI, Cyprus — Huge blasts in a seized Iranian weapons cache at a Greek Cypriot naval base in the south of the Mediterranean island killed at least 11 people on Monday, state media said.
The force of the explosions blew out virtually every window in the nearby fishing village of Zygi, whose seafront restaurants are popular with the many tourists who frequent the resort island, an AFP correspondent reported.
The island's largest power station at Vassiliko right next to the base was virtually levelled by the blast, causing widespread power cuts that are likely to last for months.
Three of its four main buildings were virtually levelled along the generator's two main fuel tanks, the correspondent said...
National Guard chief Petros Tsaliklides told public radio that the blasts struck among containers of Iranian munitions seized from Cypriot-flagged vessel M/V Monchegorsk in 2009.
It was intercepted in the eastern Mediterranean en route to Syria in January that year and, after repeated searches, its cargo was eventually seized...
"There were 98 containers of gunpowder. Two of them (caught) fire and huge explosions occurred," a police spokesman told CNA news agency.

U.S. Within Reach of Defeating Al Qaeda
Within reach, but Obama would rather pull the troops back home than finish the job!
10 to 20 key people and Al Qaida is done, so lets kill them first then start coming home. (and we might as well kill some more Taliban while we are st it )
Foxnews
The U.S. and its allies are within reach of defeating Al Qaeda after killing Usama bin Laden and gaining new insights about the terrorist group's other leading figures, new U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Saturday.
The former CIA director offered an upbeat assessment about the prospects for ending Al Qaeda's threat as he spoke with reporters flying with him on his first visit to Afghanistan since taking over as Pentagon chief July 1.
In a separate interview later, Army Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, said he agreed with Panetta's assessment.
In the aftermath of the May 2 raid that killed bin Laden in Pakistan, the U.S. has determined that eliminating "somewhere around 10 to 20 key leaders" of Al Qaeda would cripple the network, Panetta said. Those leaders are in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia and North Africa, he added.
"We're within reach of strategically defeating Al Qaeda," Panetta said, addressing reporters for the first time since succeeding Robert Gates as defense secretary.
"The key is that, having gotten bin Laden, we've now identified some of the key leadership within Al Qaeda, both in Pakistan as well as in Yemen and other areas," he said.

At Least 40 Killed in Mexico in 24 Hours
A nice weekend to be vacationing in Mexico.
Clubbing in Monterrey, touring the outskirts of Mexico City looking at all the beheaded bodies, Sweet !
Mexico, a little slice of Afghanistan just to our South.
Foxnewshttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
MEXICO CITY – Mexican officials blamed turf wars between some of the country's most brutal drug cartels for a wave of violence across the nation that killed more than 40 people in three attacks, including 21 people massacred in a night club in the northern business capital of Monterrey, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday.
The bloodiest attack took place Friday night at the gritty Sabino Gordo bar when gunmen with assault rifles shot down patrons and workers in Monterrey, a business center that became a battleground between the Zetas drug gang and the Gulf Cartel from the neighboring state of Tamaulipas.
That same day, 11 people were found shot to death in Chalco, just outside Mexico City. One person survived the attack. On Saturday, the decapitated bodies of 10 people, including three women, turned up in the northern city of Torreon in the trunk of a vehicle.
The carnage was the latest evidence that despite the capture of many top cartel leaders, Mexico's government was making little headway in its battle against escalating drug violence.
During the last four years, drug-related violence claimed at least 42,000 lives, according to tallies by Mexican newspapers

Iran on Pace for Record Year for Capital Punishment
Iran does not mess around when it comes to executions.
The difference between Iran and America performing an execution... A trial!
you just need to accuse someone of Blasphemy and they get executed in Iran.
Foxnews
Iran has reportedly executed at least 183 people during the first six months of 2011, with reports of an additional 130 executions that have gone unacknowledged.
Those figures, according to Amnesty International statistics, put Iran on course for a record year for capital punishment. In 2010, 253 people were executed, including 170 people for drug offenses. Up to 300 additional people are also believed to have been killed.
According to Iran Human Rights, an independent watchdog, the actual number is even higher. A total of 25 people were hanged on July 3 in Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj, west of Iran. The executions, which were believed to be for drug-related crimes, were not reported by official media, the group says.
The number of public hangings is also on the rise, according to Amnesty International. At least 13 men have been hanged in public this year as of April 27, compared to 14 such executions recorded by the group in 2010.
Two juveniles -- identified only as "A.N." and "H.B." -- were among three people hanged in public in southern Iran after being convicted of rape and murder they committed at age 17.

At least 88 killed from ethnic violence in Karachi
Islam is an Intolerant religion, Muslims can not even tolerate each other.
As for them killing each other off for their differences, I encourage it.
What better way to keep themselves busy, just rampage through the streets and kill whoever speaks differently than you do!
Soon enough, their will be a lot less of these idiots to worry about.
(CNN) -- The death toll from ethnic clashes in the Pakistani city of Karachi this week has reached 88, local police said Saturday.
http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
Naeem Shah, a Karachi police official, reported three deaths on Saturday, adding to the previous death toll of 85 since Tuesday.
The clashes have been blamed on a bitter rivalry between two political parties -- the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the Awami National Party.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement mostly represents Urdu-speaking people who migrated to Pakistan from India during partition in 1947, while the Awami National Party represents Pashto speakers, more of whom are moving to Karachi from northwest Pakistan in search of jobs.

Airlines fully booked, unable to return activists who were refused entry
Hilarious at the very least.
They have been blocked from leaving port in Greece, some even arrested.
They were allowed to fly into Israel, but are now blocked from leaving.
It serves them right, terrorist supporters should be treated like this, they should never be given a platform to spout their rhetoric.

The foreign airlines operating in Israel say they will have a hard time flying large groups of people who were refused entry into the country back to their destinations of origin.
A senior official for one of the large European carriers told Haaretz on Saturday that "The airlines will have a hard time dealing all at once with large groups of pro-Palestinian activists that Israel wants to deport."
"We're talking about the peak of summer traveling season and the flights are full. We'll have to act accordingly and make different preparations, but first of all, we'll have to receive instructions from the head of the aviation authority in Israel for the deportation of the activists," he said.
"At present, we are unprepared to deal with this, in terms of human resources and in terms of amount of planes," the official added.
The authorities are expected to deport more than 100 pro-Palestinian activists that landed at Ben Gurion airport in the past few days. The last group of 35 activists landed on Friday just before midnight on a Lufthansa flight from Farnkfurt, and were transferred to a police detention facility.
